Cael wiped his brow with exaggeration.

"Yeah, yeah - everything's a competition." But obviously he was joking as identified by the smile on his face as he glanced at her. He looked at the numbers on the dashboard, the glaring light that was supposed to be a time.

" Ugh... it's nearly 4am.... perhaps he'll be asleep."

She groaned, just imagining him asking for a dance when she got home and wanting to fall over at the thought. She was tired now.

" we outta get back.... I don't think being out here when the sun comes up is a good idea."

Alyson actually fell asleep on the car ride home with her head in his lap. she'd partied hard, something she hadn't done in a while.

Cael came to house and lifted her out with the intention of carrying her inside. He could do it, but... Why does this look so easy in the movies?

Cael eventually lay the woman down in her bed, pulling off her shoes for her. And then, tiredly he went and collapsed into his own bed. That was the end of that. No Mason involved.

Up to make a late brunch the next day, around 10-11, she was wearing a large shirt and smiling without worry, eyes looking over the sky.

Cael walked by Mason's door the first time without noticing it. However, the second time he was completely perplexed by the sock on the doorknob. Cael rolled his eyes and walked into the kitchen.

"Did you stick this on my bedroom door?" It was a piece of paper that said 'man slut'.

Alyson looked shocked, shaking her head.

" No, but do i need to knwo something?"

She asked curiously, then heading to Mason's room now, thankfully the food finished, and welcome or not, she made her way into Mason's room.

Cael followed her. Personally, he wouldn't have done it, but if she was going to interrupt anyway...

The room was absolutely empty of life. The bed was made and everything pristine, all the way to the open window with curtains blowing in the breeze.

Now she frowned.

" I think whatever is wrong with him, he's taking too far."

she stated, glancing to Cael now, looking him over.

" Does he always act like this when he's upset?"

Cael shrugged.

"I don't know. He doesn't normally..." Cael walked over to the window to look out and then turned around, looking at Alyson.

"We need to leave." He tried to usher her to the door.

Cael gave her a confused look. And then it dawned on him.

"OH! No... I mean they are literally defiling our tree. With spray paint. Mason and his friend."

she didn't know what else to say, wondering why that was such a big deal.

"Man..." That was all he said. Obscene things being spray painted on the tree... Cael walked away.

Alyson sighed, letting cael eat, unable to help her curiosity, looking to Mason and friend, then letting her eyes wondering to teh tree in question.

Mason turned around after a minute. His eyes rested on the woman for a whole minute before he simply turned back around and returned to spray painting.

"Who's this chick?" Mason ignored her.

Mason didn't respond, his expression darkening. He had acknowledged her. He was getting over it. But then she had to go and insult him AGAIN. Probably not the best approach.

Alyson growled at his silence, moving to take the can out of his hand, sighing slightly.

The girl looked over at Mason.

"Oh. This is one of THOSE things... Uh... Call me." She literally darted away.

Mason frowned, contemplating spraying her with fluorescent yellow.

she looked down a moment, reaching over to take the can.

" Could have at least told me before now it was otherwise."

Mason didn't care. After all, he had been friendly with him and she just kept stabbing him. As she took the can now, he threw his hands in the air.

"Fine. You want them? Take them! See what I care!" He quickly hobbled into the house, slammed his door and locked it.

Alyson stared after him, rather confused, setting the can down and following after him. she knew this was pushing it, but she didn't like people treating he like this.

Without thought she showed she could pick a lock if she was so inclined as she looked to the man now brooding on his bed.

" I don't get it. What did I do?"
