Hunter slid in to keep too much damage from being done.

"It would be best if no one else handled her."

Judging by the welt... This guy figured that out on his own.

Naomi looked to hunter, moving into his arms before she passed back out. and soon they would be in the house with The man's wife. She looked human, but at least three feet too tall to be normal. She would still be short for a Centaur's normal height. ... She was an Amazon. Normally they hated Centaurs, apparently not this one, given the man/boy that was likely 20(ish) and standing only on two horse legs. The man would easily lead them to their room, even as he left the family be, it was clear he was a bit more.. off then even the rest of the centaurs.

Hunter nodded to the boy.

"Thank you."

He looked across him.

"Are you feeling alright? Do you need care?"

The man child smiled, shaking his head.

" I have caught this twice, I am well and will be fine."

He offered, nodding a bit of thanks as his eyes lingered over Naomi. It was clear he was in the hopeful camp rather then fearful as he excused himself. Hunter, watch your mate closely. You could lose her.... Whether she consented to it, or nto.

Hunter just stayed with her. He would let her sleep and such.

Eventually, Mew would speak to Hunter from where he was playing with the kiddos across the room.

"Hey man, are you okay? You're not looking so hot."

Hunter looked up from where sweat was soaking through his clothes, casting a pallid sheen to his skin. He just growled. No. He was not. He felt like crap.

Naomi woke a few hours later, breathing heavy and choking some. she shifted, reaching up and forcing herself to sit up.

Hunter...

she was panting, even mentally.

We need to get cooled off... or this...

She was having issues focusing. her mind was cramming as fast as it could, she knew that he'd fall prey to this worse then she had, and she was barely holding it together.

" Pray..."

she barely broke the bracelet from her wrist to toss it at Mew as she pulled Hunter to her.

You ... need the antibodies.

She couldn't form the thoughts better then that at this point. He had the choice of figuring out nursing on his own, or likely dying. She couldn't do much more then sit there and take her children when they were handed to her. They had fevers, but nothing nearly as bad as mom or dad. Mom's antibodies were kicking ass for the kidddos.

Hunter was breathing heavily as he turned his glowing red eyes to the woman. Yeah, he was old enough that his body naturally produced antibiotics, but this... they weren't doing a thing for him. He just helped with the children, because he couldn't... He couldn't... He was starving for blood and he wasn't going to put any of them in danger by putting any part of her into his mouth right now. He just hoped and prayed that Naomi and the kids would be alright.

Yeah, that Centaur kid would feed Hunter blood, and look over him when he came lucid. He motioned to Noami.

" She throws up the blood. You need to help her."

he offered. Naomi wouldn't stir to any touching or prodding of any kind.

Hunter got up to his knees, still drenched. The man flexed his fingers a little before biting into his forearm and putting that in her mouth. The woman tolerated his blood better than others, so... Here's to hoping?

Naomi woke and latched to this, fingers curling about his arm. She was panting so hard you had to wonder if she was going to exhale and her lung would come flying out.

However, she moved and ripped at her dress, pulling Hunter to her.

I'll ... make it. Eat.

She gave him little choice as she brought his face to her chest.

Hunter paused a moment, forcing his teeth to retract before he opened his mouth and did as she said. The whole while, he let her drink from his arm. At the same time he would break away from her and pull away from her. He couldn't spare any more.

"Ice?"

Ice would be really nice right now.

there was none to be had at this point, however, the pair would be in a pool of cold water by now, and stripped and tended as best as possible, and hunter would be piped full of more blood. that's one thing they could get for them.

Hunter would in turn give this blood to Naomi. He was far more worried about her than himself. He was always fine in the end. It could really suck in the meantime, but he'd be okay.

Naomi ate, and snuggled to Hunter. She'd be springing back in a few hours, starting to grow more alert, and more worried about Hunter.

" You need to nurse. Come to me."

She purred, pulling Hunter tight to her, kissing at him, glancing to mew. He looked like he was dead. She'd check when she could stand.

Hunter shook his head vaguely.

"We just look dead. We'd both be dust if we actually were. No bodies."

His thought processes were a little more absent at the moment. Most of the time he could stay pretty lucid and such, but, for this second he was just staring at her breast as though he hadn't the faintest idea what it was for.

naomi sighed and shifted, making the milk come down as she made his mouth cup it. She could make him eat. That she could do.

This jarred his memory. Hunter would go back to doing that and she wouldn't have to work at it. It was a pretty simple set of tasks. Suck. Swallow. Breathe. Repeat.

Naomi was okay with letting him nurse indefinitely, watching him eventually pass out. She would force herself up at this point, and would find she needed to do major care on Mew. He'd get fed breastmilk too at this point. she cared about these people, and this thing seemed to be tearing her kind up worse then those they came to help.

Hunter would just lay there, currently really REALLY passed out. You didn't want to try and jump on him or something right now. He'd likely tear your arm off.

Mew would end up just laying beside Hunter, except opposite vertically.

she instructed, moving to bring her kids to rest between the two men, dragging herself about to clean. She was fighting a lot of body functions to do this withotu killing herself.

Hunter would be the first to rouse, though he wouldn't completely come to at first. However, before he was entirely awake, there was still a word from his lips.

"Naomi?"

she hissed at someone that clearly took off.

Which was saying something compared to the number of people that didn't feel that way. AFter a minute, he opened his eyes, the crimson orbs settling on her face, which he reached up to touch.

She would now be feeding him blood.

He was already out. He didn't have the energy to put of the blood death.

Naomi would stumble through the next two days, nursing and tending and feeding those that mattered most to her, working with the rest in the village when she had spare moments. She did her best, but by the end of the third day, when Hunter started responding to her and such, Naomi just had to collapse. She did, too, right at his feet, completely exhausted.

Hunter shifted now, drawing her up to himself. He pet at her head, rubbing at her back. The poor thing.

Feed.

He gently coaxed her mouth by nicking his shoulder. He could handle it.

Naomi obeyed more because she was instructed rather then the fact she was baited. She was obedient. She adored and loved him, and trusted him. She'd do what was best, even on a subconscious level.

She only ate for a short while. But at least she ate.

That didn't work out well. Naomi would rouse and fuss and whine about things, and the centaurs weren't really wanting to leave them alone. To put it nicely, they were bothering the crap out of the small family. Naomi was in no shape to help anymore people. She just needed to rest for a lil bit.

No. Obviously not. Hard to tell with how they acted during all this crap.

She'd be up by that evening and insisting to go help those that needed it. She was on the verge of just killing or turning them though. She was being pushed in an odd way.

Do not worry. I'd slaughter this entire clan before I'd let harm come to my family... and I'm, unfortunately, needed to it to function at the moment.

She offered, tending the badly ill moments later. At some point she'd be weak and leaning into the corner of some random mud brick building. She felt the hands, and was too tired to register what was happening. She didn't process the lips, or the touches.

However, Hunter did watch after the woman. This time, he was merely intending to find her to pick her up and carry her to rest. However... He let out a growl. Oh, HE could register it standing here and staring.

"Back off."

Naomi growled, a bit dazed. She liked attention, Hunter. You had to know that, given how you two started your relationship.

The man chuckled, looking to Hunter.

" She doesn't seem to be minding it."

Hunter, before you take the growl as golden rule to what she wants, look at her. She's barely standing on her own, and ehr eyes aren't even focused.

The man laughed, kissing at Naomi a couple more times.

" She'll be back. Take her, she'll be more fun when she's had a nap, anyway."

He purred, pushing Naomi into Hunter.

She literally crashed against him, barely clinging enough to keep herself on her feet.
