Hunter kissed down her neck.

Feel the way you communicate with him, that place that he speaks from. Imagine it like a flowing circuit of energy directed through a tube. Then imagine cutting your input off, closing the gate on one end.

Naomi did so, and she had him out, for about ten seconds... and then he pushed right through. Now she held her head, whimpering.

" He won't stop."

She complained now, unable to focus.

Hunter considered Naomi for a moment. Then, he stood up. He zipped up the front of his pajamas the rest of the way... And then went to kick Max's ass. He had had enough.

Max was sitting on the floor, absently playing with Storm, currently working with the boy on the acid control.

Naomi made a face as Hunter moved away, burrowing into the bed.

Dang it. Hunter was really hoping to have a reason to tear his head off. He growled.

I don't want to hear a peep out of you for quite some time, and if I hear that you're accosting my mate again - I promise that what I do then will be far worse than this.

Hunter hurled the man through the wall into the kitchen to making his point, stalking off back to Naomi.

Max was smart in this moment. he'd braced and caught himself as he was thrown, easily picking himself up. Note to self: get better at harassing and guarding at the same time.

Naomi was relaxing in the silence now, perfectly ready for Hunter, pouncing him when he returned.

Naomi would wake when her son was climbing into bed, and Hunter started smelling like paint... Storm was hugging daddy.

HUnter wasn't particularly bothered. AFter all, he dabbled in paint a lot. He simply opened one eye and spoke out of the corner of his mouth.

He reached out, putting his hand over Storm's whole face playfully.

Storm considered this, and worked this word over, repeatedly. Again, and again. he worked and tried, and he looked at his daddy.

he replied again, looking over his father as he smacked his hands together.
