I am pretty sick and tired of the way he treats you, like he just deigns to be here. And then, the second that I blink he tries to take advantage of you and... Then he talks to me like...

A low growl churned in his chest. However, her kisses were subduing him, perhaps even soothing him in some odd way.

He's always been like that. Why do you think I was on the defensive when he showed up?

She asked, nuzzling and kissing over him gently. Such a perfect man to care about her.

He'd bed me in a second. He pokes at you because he knows my strong dislike for unneeded and petty violence. ... and giving into his taunting would be just that... easy.

She restated as she continued to kiss him.

I've known him for a long while. It's just... Most people have at least a general respect for me. It goes against several survival instincts to let survive someone that doesn't at least respect what I COULD do.

Oh. Naomi backed off. She got personal issues. She had enough to choke someone. She wasn't the nosy sort, so what resulted shouldn't be a large surprise. She fell silent. She'd lost her momentum to speak.

And then Hunter drew back, looking away with a sigh.

"I'll go work on those cabinets now."

He got up then. So, we had gone agitated to angry to pleased to disengaged in the span of two minutes. <_<

She asked, not letting go. Which resulted in arms about his neck and legs about his waist as he started to move.

Hunter paused for a moment, just standing there before carrying her into the bedroom. He'd work on getting his spirits up and everything. He didn't want to let her down.

He just shifted a little, laying flat on his back now and staring up at the galaxies he had painted on his ceiling. He wasn't even going to suggest opening a home business or joining a forum on the internet or something like that.
