Naomi wiggled and let her fingers coil in his shirt, even as she leaned back.

Hunter shifted a little bit, his fingers firmly holding her, edging a bit about the waistband of her clothes.

Naomi was pleased with the outcome here, and even reached up for the bottle of vodka afterwords, getting a drink.

She laughed again, setting the bottle down.

Up she got, and she took up the blanket from earlier, laying in the middle of the livingroom floor. Sort of just giggling.

Hunter laughed faintly, standing up and taking the bottles. He slowly moved to dispose of them, stretching. He yawned, eyeballing the fridge. He was debating whether he was hungry enough to eat cold blood, or if he was hungry enough to go out into the cold to find food, or if he would just wait.

Hunter turned slightly, moving so that he could look around the dividing wall at the woman curled in the middle of his floor. He considered her and then laughed softly to himself.

Would you make me regret it?

He was joking about... something...

Hunter seemed to weigh this for a moment, and all of the sudden it became clear that he didn't HAVE to do what she said. It wasn't clear if he was going to do it or not. However, then, he moved to her, gathering her up in his arms. He kissed her a little before biting her, and when he did, he drank slowly. The alcohol was FAR more potent in her blood than otherwise. That was what he had been referring to.

Naomi had been rather dejected when she thought he wasn't coming and had rolled over and curled up. But at being picked up, even if he'd not been intending to feed from her, she had cuddled down to him, murmuring something about not meaning so bossy.

It was calming for the woman when he finally did feed, her entire body settling in to resting against him.

"Mmm..."

Hunter intoned this softly as he pulled away. Oh... The alcohol was so hot inside of him, settled languidly in his bones. He would not want to run through a forest now. The man made sure that she was bundled up and then lay her down on the couch. He simply then began to walk in slow circles around the room. It was kind of funny to watch, as one could just tell that he wasn't quite as solidly rooted to the ground as he normally was.

Naomi watched him a moment and then snuggled herself tight into the couch, closing her eyes. she was trying to coax herself into sleep, so she'd stop dwelling on... But no, life wasn't letting the woman sleep and she got to wonder and ponder and think and.. the conclusion she came to was she didn't like Hunter drinking. She didn't like whatever the hell this feeling was she was dealing with right now.

Naomi, the feeling that you were probably feeling wasn't the drinking at all. The feeling was likely the fact that he couldn't be still. He had been putting the momentum off, just by bobbing feet or working his hands when he was sitting. Now, though... He was tired, but he had to keep moving. It was his debt from the fight.

Naomi was discontent, either way. She eventually forced herself to sleep, but it was anything but pleasant.

Hunter would actually walk around until long past when he was sober. The man would eventually get dressed, just simply because he didn't want to be naked anymore. Then, he would pick Naomi up and carry her... Well, to the hallway. He couldn't decide which room to put her in.

Naomi hesitantly clung to hunter after he picked her up. If there was even a muscle that twitched just right her arms would have gone back to herself. She was uncertain. An emotion such a woman as herself did not deal with often, or even understand.

the woman was still asleep though, for those that care to know, just very light.

Hunter eventually decided on his room. He lay her down in his bed, covering her up. He paused to watch and see if there was a negative reaction.

Not exactly negative. The woman made a face at Hunter letting her go, but then would wrap his bedding about her tightly. she would curl so tight into a ball you had to wonder what was going through her head as she nestled into his pillow. Not negative, just bordering insecurity.

Naomi would suction onto Hunter, snuggling to his chest, kissing at him even in her sleep. Whatever it was, wasn't associated with your company.

Naomi would dote on him a while before sitting up and petting his hair absently.

she would talk to him now, even though he wasn't awake, working through thoughts she'd been too reserved to share.

" You know, I shouldn't have told you... But You put me on the spot... I am sorry for running... I just... I couldn't face another person telling me to my face they don't love me. Or they can't feel that way, or I don't matter like that... Those get old. It hurts... I could not take another hurt. I was not ready for it. So i ran... I am surprised you keep me around as much as you do. I suck at conversation, I have near no personality, and I have no hobbies or interests, other then you."

She rambled on.

Hunter would continue to sleep, allowing her to pet at him and talk. The funny thing, however, is that it wasn't always a good idea to say things to a sleeping vampire like him or Ian if you didn't want them heard. Sometimes, it didn't work quite like you planned. At a certain point after she had been rambling for quite some time, he gave the smallest of smiles, shifting only enough to kiss her knee, which his face had been resting near.

I am completely capable of love, you know.

Awake or asleep? It wasn't clear.

Her tone softened as her next statement crossed her lips, and it was good for her pride his eyes were closed as she reached up and wiped away tears that started.

" I know. I just don't expect it to be wasted on me. I understand."

she offered softly, leaving the out open to him. she had been hurt enough, she was braced for being nothing. It was easier to expect nothing. It was easier to be prepared not to matter, to be heart broken from the beginning... it saved alot of things.

Hunter exhaled a long breath, and then he moved. The man opened his eyes, shifting then so that he could look up at her from where his head lay in her lap. Awake. Definitely awake now.

You would not be a waste. Who else would I want to give it to but you?
