Naomi winced.

" Hunter, your more then anything I've ever had..."

She stated gently, watching him vanish, feeling badly.

" .... It's hard to see yourself as gnihtemos after being nothing for so long..."

She stated gently under her breath. She knew she'd hear.

"Then do less looking and more listening."

Hunter now leaned over her shoulder, holding out the bird with the missing head.

"I can see what you miss."

The odd man kissed the base of her throat and exchange the pigeon for the gun, slipping in to the shed to put them away.

Naomi looked at him, moving and kissing him as she watched him put things away before she moved and slid her hand into his pocket. She pulled him to her, kissing him again.

" I will try."

She would trust you. She did not make a habit of trusting anyone... don't ruin it.

Hunter pressed against her, kissing at her easily.

"And, if you'll listen, I'll teach you things. Sound like a fair trade?"

Naomi nodded, and kissed him a bit more, arms looping about him.

" Remember I'm not you, though. I'm not a super hero, unlike you."

Hunter laughed.

"I'm a superhero? Man, people's standards have really gone to hell since the world ended."

He kissed her again for good measure.

Naomi corrected him, kissing and holding tight to him, kissing him repeatedly.

Hunter grabbed her hips lightly, holding her against him firmly.

"Alright. But don't ask me to leap tall buildings. And flight isn't my ability."

Naomi smiled and shook her head, content with kissing down his chest for a while before she tugged at him gently.

" You'll have to share what your ability is sometime."

she purred absently, kissing him again, merely waiting to see if they were going/doing gnihtemos else of ir home was the destination.

Hunter smiled and kissed her once more.

"Sure. But right now, I think we should get some breakfast in you."

The man looked at her and jerked his chin up now, gesturing. She seemed like she was doing better.

" You need to eat too."

She chided gently. Tugging on him, she looked him over. He hadn't eaten in over a day, she wasn't use to him not feeding form her...

Hunter grew a slow grin.

"I am not going to starve to death."

However, he did lean down, kissing at the exposed slices at her throat and chest.

"But... if you're offering..."

Hunter looked up at her with sparkling eyes and then he poked her nose.

"You should eat first, though. I don't want you passing out. I like it when you're interactive more interactive than a limp noodle."

Naomi growled and tugged at him, kissing and pressing up at him.

" I'm never a limp noodle. "

she replied as she unscutioned herself from his chest and walked off casually. Yeah, she'd been paying attention to which way they'd come from. Off into the woods.

Hunter walked with her a way rather casually. However, after a couple minutes, he gently touched her arm, plucking at her shirt. The man stared off to the side, peering through the trees. Then, he shook his head, nudging her again to start.

Naomi considered hunter once given the go ahead, and now moved to climb up onto his side, holding onto him. She hadn't put shoes on, the ground was starting to hurt her feet. He had shoes.

Hunter supported her with one arm like one holds a child on their hip. He stood there for a minute now, considering the forest. He pressed his lips together and then shot off. He took her home without anymore issue, but he did seem in a hurry to get there. The man set her down just inside.

"Everything okay?"

Naomi looked him over, and nodded slowly, pointing to her toes. Bare feet, mister.

However, now she moved and kissed him, snuggling tighter to his side.

" I think so, you tell me. What was wrong back there?"

She asked of him, fingers toying over him absently.

Hunter commenced to slowly scoot the woman towards the kitchen.

"Nothing big. It was just that I wasn't the only beast in the forest right now."

He didn't clarify beyond that, not because he was avoiding it, but instead because he had deemed it not important.

Naomi shrugged now and kissed him again before moving to eat. If he'd stop poking at her, she'd eat. Good grief, he really was persistent. either way, she was easily leaving a tiny ( your suppose to heat but she didn't) little sum of trash in the trash can as she rinsed her hands clean. All done. This would be why she moved right back to hunter, catching him in the hall, kissing his neck as she pounced his back.

" Your not a beast."

Hunter glanced up at her. He had only been gone for a couple minutes. He smiled slowly and then walked into the kitchen. He opened up what looked suspiciously like a broom cupboard. It wasn't. The man pulled out two glasses.

"I thought you might like a glass of wine."

Well, truthfully, HE wanted it, but he thought she might like it too. He popped the cork out of the chilled bottle, waiting for her reply.

Hunter poured them both a glass before sitting the bottle down. He picked up the glasses, handing her one casually.

"Enjoy."

He moved into the living room with his to sit down.

Naomi smiled, and let Hunter be for this exact moment, absently spinning the wine about in her glass, sipping at it for a bit. Shrugging, deciding that it was neither good, nor bad, she wondered off from him, browsing the hall way. Literally. Never straying from the hallway.

Hunter was rather disappointed with the wine. He had hoping that this would be better than what it was. Oh well. He drank it anyhow. He closed his eyes and leaned his head against the back of the couch. Fang stalked in, circling the place. Then, he moved to check out Naomi.

Naomi glanced to Fang, smiling at the wolf.

" hi."

She offered, moving and downing the rest of the wine and deciding she'd looked over the hall enough, darting back to Hunter at gnihtemos slamming against the side of the house?

What would Hunter discover? None other then young Ayvin Darrenthrope and company. Catherine was actually the one that had entered Hunter's house ( no knocking) and darted to hide behind the couch, just as a rather unpleasant body fell through the doorway. The good news was the fact the fight was over. The bad was this was not the entrance Ayvin or the others had been hoping for in meeting Hunter, and Nixie's cousin, Naomi... For those that care to know, Naomi doesn't know of Nixie.

Why do you think Fang had sought out Naomi? He was protecting his pack. Now, the animal growled at the intruders, hairs bristling and teeth bared. He would attack if he needed to.

Hunter, meanwhile, despite all the sounds, had not moved. It had registered as a non-threat. The man simply put down his glass and stood up. He cooly looked at the group. You just blundered into the Greenland Elder's household. Dangerous stuff there. He frowned.

"So you're the mess I heard in the woods."

He didn't doubt it. They smelled the same. The man flicked the corpse back out his front door, not caring if it hit anyone on the way out.

"Why are you barging into my house?"

Ezra now moved, gathering Catherine up and drawing her away from being so close to Hunter.

Naomi snuggled a bit closer to Hunter, watching the group, keeping her silence.

Ayvin sighed.

" It's my mother's fault. She's gotten more forceful lately, I blame dad."

Ayvin stated absently, motioning to Naomi and then to Nixie.

" Suppose to find her cousin, I'd assume this is Miss Anemone? "

Naomi actually didn't respond to this name, that had been a long time ago...

Catherine considered Naomi, and frowned.

" Her last name is Wilder."

Nope, she didn't offer help there, but she did earn a curious look from Naomi.

Naomi did know french, lucky Catherine?

"This is Naomi."

Hunter said this curtly, frowning at them all. He eyed Ayvin. One of the Darrenthrope children for sure. There was a striking resemblance to his father. No need to ask. Hunter lifted an arm about her, holding Naomi's shoulder lightly.

"Why are you looking for her?"

Come into his house to mess with the woman under his protection? Eh... Very few stupider things had been done.

Nixie looked over Naomi. So... This was her cousin? The woman looked her up and down and gave a small nod.

"Hi."

Naomi gave Nixie a once over and shrugged.

" I don't have any family."

Simple as that for her response as she kissed Hunter's cheek now and wondered off with Fang. She was perfectly okay with being kept company as she was making her bed. Thimbleton hadn't hit her room up yet, apparently. He was a little fella, and she felt bad he did things for her.

Ayvin frowned.

" My mother sent us here. She's not easy to argue with, and Nixie is her cousin."

Hunter glared now.

"Kin aside, what do you want with her?"

He let the woman slip away for the moment.

Naomi sat on her well made bed, considering her options.

" Close minded ness."

A huh, that's gnihtemos she'd swing that woman around by her hair for later. Now she was content to whispering to the wolf on her bed that still looked like he might go attack the intruders.

" You know, if it was just me and her, I'd rip all that hair out of her head."

Yep, not a fan of the woman.

Ayvin glanced up. Whispering didn't escape vampires, even if it would Nixie and Catherine. He frowned. That little b****.....

" My mother merely instructed us to reunite the family, but clearly that is easier said then done."

Catherine frowned.

" well of course it will be, with this approach."

Of the tiny little woman, always well meaning went, tentatively looking in the doorway at Naomi.

" I am sorry she was so mean to you."

Naomi considered Catherine, looking her over.

" I don't need someone to coddle me as if I am an child. I will be fine. It is not the first person to be hateful towards me."

" But you do not deserve it!"

Catherine protested, looking saddened.

Hunter watched this. He promptly decided that he liked Catherine. She was okay. By default, Ezra got a little lenience, as he hadn't said anything stupid either. The man stared at Ayvin.

"Why?"

He shifted stand just outside Naomi's room.

Ayvin stared at Hunter.

" Your welcome to go ask her."

Yep, cause he was done playing 21 questions.

Catherine glanced over her shoulder and glared at ayvin. She'd not understood it all, still learning english, however she was certain he'd been no help.

" Because she knows how important family is."

She stated, glaring at Ayvin, alot. Pretty ballsy for a little human girl. On this trip she'd decided no amount of new place could balance out his ego.

Ayvin was glaring right back at the human girl, if not for the fact the Elder was half standing infront of Catherine, she'd actually likely have just been killed right now.

Ayvin, you got all your father's temper and arrogance without a drop of either parent's intelligence... Or, it comes across that way, I'm determined there is some in there...

Hunter's frown deepened. He then turned away from Ayvin. Insufferable little child. He looked to Naomi.

Do you want to deal with this? I could just send them away.

He offered this to her quietly and slowly, trying not to startle her too much with his manner of speaking. She could nod or shake her head.

Naomi seemed to be processing this a moment before she sighed.

I want to swing the thing around by her hair and ask her why her stupid petty problems are mine to deal with. I've grown up and done just fine without her. she's clearly got a large group that is there for her.

She stated gently, glancing over Catherine...

But she's interesting.

Even Naomi could tell she wasn't normal.

He looked up at Ezra, who was obviously attached to this woman. Good, yes/no?

Cause she didn't see Nixie and Ayvin being welcome.

Ayvin had already figured this out and was making arrangements in town with a hotel keep. they'd figure it out.

I don't see a problem with it.

"Yes. More or less."

Likened to a stranger. He took that just fine. Hunter glanced at Ayvin now, though he spoke to both vampires.

"Low profile, especially in the closest town. Their eyes are still closed, and I want them to stay that way for as long as possible."

He looked at Naomi, holding out a hand.
