Hunter offered her a hand.

"If you have ever wondered what I do during the day..."

To lighten the mood, he gave her a crooked smirk.

"Come, ride on me. I'll show you what I do."

His back was what he was referring to.

Naomi looked him over, eyes sparkling.

"I'll ride you any day."

She purred, climbing up on him none the less.

Hunter swallowed once.

"I promise, you do not have to hold that tight. I'm not going to drop you."

She was trying awful hard to strangle him. However, he moved to take her to the city that he had to go to. The closest didn't carry panels like he needed.

Naomi eased ever so slowly, looking down from her perch on him.

" sorry."

She purred gently. She didn't want to be tossed and left.

When they arrived, Hunter put her down. He looked at her carefully.

"You aren't feeling motion sick, are you?"

Naomi shook her head, glancing about. Where were they? she didn't ask though, looking to him. He knew where they were heading.

Hunter nodded approvingly and then walked into... Well, it was a sort of home improvement warehouse, like a glorified Home Depot. He moved to find the panels that he needed, pulling over a rolling trolley and putting them down on it.

"Do you want to repaint your room to suit you better?"

Hunter was tugging the thing along behind him.

"Are you sure?"

He glanced over her.

"If you're concerned about money, you can always pay me back."

Naomi sighed, looking at him.

" I am certain. If your fishing for money I'll give it to you, but honestly, I am fine with the current accommodations."

Hunter smirked and bit the inside of his cheek, but none of it kept in that chortle.

"I don't need your money."

The man moved towards the register then.

"Maybe I'll paint it a lucrid pink while you aren't paying attention... with little bumblebee wall pasties."

naomi looked at him flatly.

" You really want me to paint it, don't you?"

She didn't want her money ( she knew he didn't need it.) .. her's was blood money, and she'd tried to get rid of it, and couldn't.

Hunter cast her a sideways glance.

" Painting it is just going to make me glare at the bedding, and then the furniture, or lack there of, depending on the pain job, and so on and so forth."

She stated with a sigh.

Hunter laughed now.

"You can redo the entire decor of the room. It's yours now."

Now Naomi looked at him a moment.

" How are you ...."

She stopped and just vanished from sight now. Yep, she'd just decided screw it. That room needed to feel more.. homey, anyway.

He'd have limited knowledge of what she intended to do with her room, as most of it was in no descriptive packaging. Either way, she did vanish into the room. It would be less then five hours later though when his livingroom would be filled with old bedframe, curtains, rods, blinds, everything but the mattress.

The entire bedroom floor was covered in a stone looking rug, though it was plush to the touch, feeling like you were almost walking on silk, and the ceiling was lost to drapes as well as part of the walls, the windows now tinted a limo black, making it nearly impossible for sunlight to penetrate.

Her headboard a nice series of celtic knots decorated the box like frame that surrounded the mattress. The bedding almost over flowing from it.

Naomi was actually happily sitting on her bed now, looking over her black walls and ceiling.

" Much better."

Hunter actually shoved all of the old stuff out onto the lawn before installing the last pane. He intended to leave it out there too, for now. The man wandered to her room. He paused, leaning against the doorframe as his eyes took it all in. He gave a bitter smile as though amused by something and troubled by something at the same time.

"Very nice."

" Not that much different then my last."

she commented honestly, stretching out on her bed now. well, she'd not had the pillars, but she'd not had the room in her last bedroom... and she'd had the queen size of this bed rather then the king.... but still. She was at home in this kind of thing. Which is likely why she dove under her blankets and didn't pop out until her head was at the other end of the bed, eyes roaming over Hunter.

" Come here?"

Hunter shifted towards her, leaning against the edge of her bed. He simply bent and kissed her now. She had asked for him to come there. Now?

Naomi smiled, moving and kissing him again, shifting and she pulled him up. Literally. Not bad for a little human girl. Either way, he was now up, over, and in her bed as she kissed him again. No, it wasn't sun down. She didn't care, she wanted kisses. No, they weren't a 'couple' to the masses, but she liked kisses.

The man sat there with her for a while, and he indulged in her kisses. However, at the same time, it was possible to tell that he was concerned about something. Hunter shifted a little bit, pulling to hold her against him. Then...

"OH!"

He had a small epiphany.

Hunter shifted now.

He climbed out of the bed. She could follow or stay, he didn't care. He went to go look at those books he had put in his lounge... more accurately, the atlases.

Naomi openly threw a pillow after him and crawled out of the bed. Fang, oh darling wolf that was following little woman, if you thought you could growl, listen to the low one that rolled from her now.

Hunter walked through the house. He stopped, flipping through the atlases intently.

"I am being told to choose sides in a war. It is not a small decision. My decision impacts every other vampire in all of Greenland in some way. I had a thought..."

Now she stopped before entering his lounge. This was the door she was pretty certain lead, to some extent to his room... actually, given the typical layout, it was either to the left or the right, as there were doors there.... either way... he kept her out of there..... and this is why Naomi glared at him a moment more and turned and went back to her room.

She climbed up the steps and burrowed right into her blankets.

She stated gently, snuggling into the bedding a bit more. She did not want to invade your personal space. And.... yes, she was upset.... but if it took you this long to notice.

"I'm sorry. It's just... I'm going to have both sides fighting me until I pick one. I don't want to pick the wrong one."

She stated softly, rolling over.

Hunter reached over and tugged on her blankets.

"That's not why the door is locked. You want in there? Here, come on. I'll let you in. It's alright."

He shook his head. Was it really a big deal?

"And... I didn't meant to brush you off. I'm sorry. I was distracted."

She stated as the blankets flew off.

" You need to decide this. I am with you no matter what you chose. So make your decision so i can have my man back."

she stated this before thinking and her hand moved to her mouth now, but she seemed to just be trying to brush it off now.

Hunter stared at her for a long moment with a flat look.

"I have been around long enough that I don't believe in privacy. Nothing you do would be considered invasive."

He held out his hands. He didn't want to talk about the decision. Not right now, at least. Distraction.

Naomi moved slowly, and kissed him before taking his hands, letting him remove her from her bed. Yeah, he was a smart boy. Calm the girlie down. She was even acting like she was already forgiving and forgetting.

Hunter pulled her along. He only let go of her hands so that he could pull his keys out of his pocket. The man opened the door to the lounge and stepped in, gesturing for her to have free range.

"That door is not locked because I don't want you to see. Go on, look."

She would discover that his part of the house did match the rest, if it was a little darker to his liking. The bathroom and closet were strictly contemporary and minimalist. To, this, however, there struck a faint contrast in his bedroom. You could tell that someone lived in there. It smelled faintly of paint and sandalwood. You could even tell what some of his thoughts were.

How? Well, on the two walls were painted murals. They were never the same from week to week, as that was one of the ways that Hunter dealt with his troubles. This man painted. The mural was ever changing that way. Currently, everything was black and blue and white. There was a dark forest everywhere, flowing with mists and stars. There were things painted into the mists, things that he was thinking about. In one place Naomi was painted, hidden in the mists. Not bad from memory. There were paints and papers and supplies and books and just things scattered about on the shelves and desk. When you walked in, his bed was against the wall directly across from you. His desk was against the single-directional window wall. His shelves were on the wall to your left and right.

Naomi was hesitant. Sher looked about, here eyes wide with wonder as she considered everything that was surrounding her. Look at it all! He did hide away treasures. Curious is as curious does, this would be why the woman considered everything, looked at it all.

But she came back to Hunter.

" I am the only one that has been in your house, clearly, for a while... It would only make sense for it to be locked to keep me out."

She pointed out gently.

Hunter was sitting on the edge of his bed. He had been watching her casually. Now, he looked up at her.

"No, it was to keep you from coming in here without me. My door was locked to keep gnihtemos in, not you out."

He judged her. Okay, so maybe that recent laugh had given him a small dose of reluctance.

"I have a brownie."
