victoria stirred slightly, in a way that said she would be fine, but she was completely unhappy about being alive.

Kyle looked at Vicky for a moment more before looking to Dessa.

" She'll live. ... child too, not that that was my choice."

as much as he doubted Lot wanted teh child, he didn't see Lot letting another person kill his kid......

Dessa scowled deeply as she knelt down. She began to reach for her right glove when Lot's voice cut through.

"Do it and I will rip your heart out." You had never seen a more fidgety man as he squatted down beside the woman. but then he couldn't do that either. He had to move back.

Dessa stopped with the glove, and instead reached over and flicked Kyle between the eyes, shoving herself inbetween the woman and that man. She first looked for apparent bite marks. And then she searched for a pulse. Apparently she didn't trust the vampire. Go figure.

Victoria responded, VERY negatively to the woman's touch, actually flinching away, anf causing herself to roll into another tree, grunting softly.

Kyle growled lightly.

" She doesn't want you touching her."

Even he could tell that one.

Dessa just gave him a look that said she really wouldn't mind if he decided to take a part time job as a crash dummy.

"Well she hates you two."

Dessa looked up, her face pinching.

"That is just not cool, man." Lot had found a squirrel... which was now headless... And they wondered why animals didn't come around her.

Victoria winced as she hit a rock in her roll, but otherwise didn't move, completely unwilling to pick herself up and move on.

Kyle made a face.

" she made a snap decision."

He refrained from placing blame on Lot, but it was hard as he looked back to Lot taking care of issues with blood deprivation.... it wasn't bothering him too much.

Dessa held her tongue. Why? Well, he had saved Victoria after all. So he was given just a tiny bit of grace from the slayer. The girl stood up and moved to walk over towards Vitoria again.

Lot pointed the squirrel corpse at her and looked like he was about ready to squeeze it so blood would spurt all over her. This was him communicating that he was not happy with her movements. However, the teen boldly looked the man in the eye and spat his words back at him.

"Do it and I will rip out your heart." Dessa stayed a little bit away from the woman this time as she spoke gently.

"We need to get you out of the forest."

victoria looked at the woman now, clearly in major discomfort still, if not more then that as she placed her hand on her belly, looking to Kyle accusingly.

" I didn't."

He replied, clearly having wanted to.

Victoria glared at him, evne in her state still as she turned her eyes to Dessa.

" Lot."

it was rather simple. If she was being moved, she was being moved by the one she trusted. Even if he killed her, she didn't care, she loved him, it was him she would let do it. Even in her state, she had the right to refuse those she didn't want.

The teen brushed her hair from her face, her dark eyes shifting to Lot, who had finished draining his squirrel. She knew plenty about vampires. Part of that being that a squirrel would only barely tide over a starving vampire.

"I'm really not sure that's a good idea..." But yet the other man waltzed right over at the sound of his voice. No one had any choice as he swept Victoria up and began to carry her back to his house. They were halfway back when the man glanced back.

"What are you doing?" Dessa didn't even bat an eyelash.

"Following you home."

Victoria relaxed in her master's arms, eyes closing the moment she was picked up, actually falling asleep before they made it back to the house. In retrospect, she had only called him by his name, less then five times... counting just then. Kind of odd, really.

Kyle was a bit closer then Dessa, as he had just been the one to save her, he kind of felt he had the right to make sure she was alright at least.... he didn't care about Dessa as long as she kept her end of the deal. No slaying business tonight.

Lot stopped on the threshold, looking both of them in the eye (not at the same time of course, that would have been rather difficult).

"You are not staying in my house. This is my house. Get lost." And with that, he rushed in and slammed door, locking it.

Dessa frowned at the little gust of wind that blew into her face from the door shutting. She simply rolled her eyes and took a step back. Right now she cared about Kyle just about as much as he cared about her. The girl walked over to the nearest window. She gave it a jiggle so that it slid open, and she climbed in.

Kyle wasn't so... unobvious. He walked right towards the door, working the lock a moment before he got frustrated and merely ripped the lock out and followed Lot right in.

Victoria was unaware, and didn't care.

Lot glared at Kyle more than Dessa at the moment they approached him from either side.

"You are paying for that." It sounded like a threat, but he really honestly meant that Kyle would be coughing up the cash for a new door and locks.

"And what do you two not understand about 'get out of my house'?" Dessa gave him a smile.

"I understand fine. I'm choosing to ignore it."

Kyle responded, not caring the ' get out' thing, watching the sleeping woamn, rather impressed she was at such ease with him.

Lot growled, turning and walking away. He mumbled something about how none of them had any rights in his house and that he hoped the monster in the cellar would eat them and so on and so forth. Lot didn't really have the fight in him today. This was a very crappy day. So he turned... and ran to his room, ripping the lock off and ducking inside. Lot carefully placed Victoria on his bed, pulling the blankets over her before starting to scoot his chest of drawers. The goal was to get it over the trapdoor before the others clambered up.

Kyle looked up as he heard the weight hit the trap door, and sighed under his breath, actually speaking to Dessa now.

" I could move that, but I don't know how it would fly... It could hit Victoria."

Victoria carefully snuggled into the bedding as she opened a very tired and aching eye to see her master was still in the room before letting sleep have her again.

Lot threw the woman a glance, but then returned to staring at the dresser. He doubted that would keep them out for long.

Dessa rolled her eyes as she wedged herself into the far corner.

"Then step back..." And vampires wondered what made her such a dangerous slayer. Turns out the space between her ears wasn't hollow. The girl reached into her bodice and pulled out her knife. She quite easily unscrewed the hinges and the entire door and dresser fell down with a heavy thunk.

He replied dryly as he went up into the room first. ... beside, friends close, enemies closer, he was doing swell.

As he saw Victoria, lookign almost content, even in her damaged state, he wanted to smack Lot. how had this man stolen her from him?

Dessa gave a wearisome response as she climbed up through the hole.

"I'll just have to ship you back for missing parts."

Lot was glaring at the two of them.

"You're getting that dresser back up through the hole too." He crossed his arms with agitation and then turned, sprawling and taking up every bit of his part of the bed. Well... really it was all his bed, but he was sharing a little.

"Are you two insufferables going to watch me sleep too?"

Lot hissed something under his breath about his being able to watch her on his own, but what he said aloud was much simpler.

"Fine. Just stay out of my bed." The man wormed under the covers, letting his chin drift down on top of the woman's head. After all, he was not going to deal with this kind of thing. Especially not tonight. He was going to sleep.

Dessa walked over and sat down on the floor where she could see all three of them. This wasn't how she had planned to spend her night, but...

Victoria carefully wormed her way a bit closer, seeming to move gingerly, but otherwise fine in her sleep state, nestled contently to Lot. \

Kyle reclined, eyes not shutting fully as he merely relaxed, not bothered.

About a day or two later, Victoria woke up enough to realize who all was around her as she slowly started rubbing her eyes as she was fighting the sleep off to wake up... she was thirsty.

Dessa was sitting on the floor, slurping at a huge glass of chocolate milk through a bendy straw. It was actually rather annoying. Lot had been trying to ignore it, to pretend that he was still asleep for the past five minutes while she was doing it. It wasn't working for him. The female had also helped herself to some bagels she had found in the kitchen.

At the first sign of movement, though, she was up and at the bedside.

"Good morning, Miss." Way too cheery for the morning.

Victoria probably had a reaction both vampires could appreciate. A rather unhappy growl came from her as she wormed in Lot's arms slightly, looking up at him, pouting, moving to kiss him as she nestled tighter.

" She's here, and he's here, and your here, and I'm here. Too many here in a sleepy room."

She minorly complained, more still half asleep and all.

At the growl, Lot actually grinned, whispering in her ear.

"Good girl." The man patted her back, his eyes opening and settling on the two intruders.

"And, seeing as this is my bedroom, I'm not leaving." I think someone was having a little King of the Hill syndrome.

Dessa, however, was not deterred by a little growl. Now if Victoria had tried to stab her or rip out her throat, that would have put off Dessa, but a little growl? Heck, that was almost like a hello in her life. She looked up.

"Seeing as she's a human and there is nothing to protect her if I am not here, I'm not leaving."

Kyle replied flatly. In his defense, he honestly was only there for that reason at this point, if she was hell bent on keeping the child, he wanted nothing to do with Victoria once she was better.

Victoria smiled and fussed under her breath as she looked at everyone.

" and if I leave, you all follow."

she complained, not happy about any of these things. She was starting to get rather unhappy.

" If you were gonna kill me, you'd already have done it."

She fussed a bit more as she burrowed in closer to Lot, trying to keep all hints of light from her, as they mad eher head throb worse.

However, seeing as it was daytime in a glass room, this wasn't the best time to try and hide from light. Lot blinked a few times as the woman had almost squirmed underneath him at this point.

Lot was suddenly amused.

"And you think that no one would think to look for you under me?"

Dessa looked at him and the expression on her face made it clear that she was having to try VERY hard not to smack the blonde vampire.

victoria actually bit him for that one ( Not hard enough to hurt, just kind of a play bite) as she looked up at him now.

" The sun is bright. I is sleepy. I no want love now, and theys is in here anyway, so that no happen. I no like audience."

She informed him pointedly, growling and grumbling a bit more before returning to her head and half her body under his chest in order to sleep free of sunlight, blankets pulled up.

If one was watching close enough, they could see Lot's eyes widen a fraction of a centimeter.

"You just bit me!" He had to think a little bit to process through the rest of her complaints. Dessa narrowed her eyes. You have to be joking.

"Don't like it when the shoe is on the other foot, do we?" Lot just glared at her.

"Just shut up and turn that dial over there." He gestured to a very small knob in the corner of the room beside where his dresser normally stood. Dessa glared more.

"I'm not your slave."

"Just do it."

Very begrudgingly, she did. As she turned it, the walls blackened, and as it turned completely to the other side, they were suddenly not light permeable at all. The girl couldn't help the small thought that something like that was actually kind of cool.

Victoria moved from under him slowly as the room darkened, looking at her master, kissing him and simply snuggling to him, eyes closing as she returned to a very light sleep, not even bothering to grace him with a response to the biting thing.

kyle was fighting a laugh, to be honest... he supposed he could mention that Victoria actually bit all the time... but... if Lot didn't know that by now, then let him learn on his own.

Kyle stole the glass and tossed it into the nearest trash can, listening to it shatter. sure, he'd pay for that too. Later, right now, the quiet that hit the place once the slurping stopped was heavenly.

Dessa actually seemed quite calm over the whole incident. She was adjusting her corset, not even looking up.

"You are indecent." That was right about the time where Kyle's shirt fell off. See, it was almost a reflex, actually. However, the girl was quite thoughtful and didn't kill him. She just sliced his shirt.

Kyle replied, leaning back, not worried that his shirt was gone to the ground, watching as the little mass that was Victoria was even showering Lot in occasional kisses in her sleep.

" well trained.."

he commented under his breath, eyes closing once more. he didn't want to think about what happened to make it so she did that.

What Kyle didn't know, was that nothing had happened. she was merely affectionate towards him ( Lot) and that she was only half asleep, and she was mainly aiming for cuddlies....which she was getting.

Dessa crossed her arms and then sat on Lot's only other piece of furniture, bobbing her feet back and forth.

"Yeah, well look where that got you, cranky old man." Okay, he didn't look old, but then again Dessa was only sixteen and he was a vampire. Who knew how old he was.

Lot was thoroughly enjoying their bickering. Maybe that whole killing each other thing would work out after all. It would be a bummer because it would take him forever to scrub the blood out of his floor, but it would also be a huge relief.

after about an hour of listening to the other two argue, ranging from ' anything is old compared to a baby' to stupid things like ' well at least I'm not a woman' and stuff, she moved from Lot's arms, setting straight up. Yes, she was pale, and yes she was weak... but she was also... well, moody.

As a result, she nailed Dessa right in the head with a shoe, knocking the woman to the floor, and Kyle got graced with a vase, which shattered all over his head, cutting him here and there.

" Get along, or leave."

Way to go prego.

At that exact moment, Lot had the biggest, healthiest smile had grown for years. He was glowing with pride for Victoria at that moment. It was actually quite the sight.

Dessa rubbed her head and stood up with a sigh. She turned to face the girl.

"Would you like your shoe back?" Very even-tempered.

Kyle was picking glass out of his shoulder and forehead carefully, not too bothered as the cuts were already healing.

"Well maybe not now, but I'm sure that when you want to wear them later and can only find one, it will be rather frustrating." So the girl walked over and squatted down, sliding the shoe back under the bed for the woman.

Lot nodded emphatically.

"I know. Infectious parasites that I can't seem to get rid of."
