Ephriam opened his mouth and then closed it. Something about it seemed like a dirty accusation. The man took her hand and kissed the back lightly.

Marina caught the look, and smiled, gently.

" It's not me that is the concern this time. i just hate being in this house by myself for long periods of time. It's lonely. "

Ephriam sighed softly. Now was probably not the best time to ask him either way. The taste of her blood still lingered on his tongue, the smell still tickled at his nostrils.

"I survive on either." He paused. She might not. But then she didn't like him going out like that. His hand pressed ever so gently to the small of her back, as though he were even more aware right now of her fragility. Maybe...

Marina looked to him, kissing him softly, not caring that her tongue had to carefully keep clear of his teeth, nuzzling him lightly.

Ephriam appreciated her attempt, but he also felt a certain... Well, it was difficult to describe. He was able to kiss her without any real ado, so...

Ephriam gave out a long breath.

"Well... likely not. However, the crunching of bones tends to make one irritable." The man turned opening the drawer and pulling out the knife. He laid it on the bed without a word.

Marina ignored the blade as she looked over Ephriam, smiling as her eyes took every movement into consideration.

Ephriam turned and smiled at her, his extended teeth glinting in the light.

"No tackling you into the dirt." He gestured to the bed.

"However, sitting down would probably be a good idea." Not that he couldn't hold her up if she got too lightheaded, but still...

Marina smiled, setting, tugging him to set with her, looking him over, feeling her pulse speed up, ever so slightly as she felt closer to him right now, kissing his lips lightly.

Ephriam smiled against her lips.

"This will not be nearly so painful." He lifted his hand, gently bracing the side of her neck, running his finger along her jawbone. He could feel t he racing pulse and it was a sort of thrill to him too.

"Try to... keep your hands to yourself. Okay?" It was a reminder spoken as his kisses trailed down her cheek and jaw. After all, he had been more than a little shocked the first time he had fed from a human. She had been so moved as to grab him.

A few rough kisses served like a pinch before a shot. Ephriam's lips parted slightly and very gently he pricked the skin along her neck. If you were good enough, this could be virtually painless.The man eased his fangs in, and the taste of blood exploded in his mouth. He was absorbed in it, in the pulse of her every heartbeat.

Marina felt his teeth for a brief moment before she felt her heartbeat quicken, and she curled her fingers into his shirt as she bit back a soft moan. This was maddening, especially to keep her hands to herself while he was doing this... She was bonding with him in a way she couldn't explain, and he was asking her to keep calm.... That's like asking someone who's orgasming to hold still.

Taking a steady breath for herself, she felt herself being pulled closer to him, more with a back thought of interest concerning the fact her body was starting to take over. Eyes still shut, her head was soon resting on his shoulder as she breathed in his ear, hands now tracing his abs beneath his shirt.... she was doing pretty good, considering.

Ephriam still held one hand at the other side of her neck. He wasn't even aware that his other arm had wrapped around the woman entirely. However, his was more of a trapping instinct as he held on tight to her. The pulsing of her heart was like a song in his ears. The thing was, something in his mind was telling him that he should stop immediately, but the part of his brain that enjoyed every drop was blocking out the reason why. It had been a very long time.

Marina managed to muddle through as she realized she was starting to feel a bit off, pushing at him now, speaking gently at first as she fought to find her voice. While he was on one kind of ecstasy, she'd been on another.

" Ephriam... Love. We have to stop now... I know you don't want to..."

she was having issues finding her voice, it was coming to her, but taking too long, however, she was already free of his hold, for the most part, but she was currently wanting to get her neck free, without ripping everything... of course, she'd be alright for another few minutes, but she didn't want to push it past that.

Ephriam's fingers curled, but after a moment he placed his free hand on her lap. The man gripped her knee as though it were an anchor, and he pulled out his teeth. However, he did not remove his mouth at first. He had to wait for his saliva to at least clot her blood. Two gaping holes in the jugular would be a bad idea. But the moment that it was no longer bleeding, Ephriam jerked himself away. He was breathing very fast through his mouth as he stared at a spot on the carpet.

Looking to ephriam, she reached for him now, unable to stop the reactions to the feelings she was experiencing, curling up in his lap. True, this was playing with fire, but she was managing not to rape him right now, so he should be pretty happy.... Kill her, rape him, or both live as intended.... he was almost managing that last one so far.

Ephriam's wild eyes drifted toward her and he gave a very slight smile. The man carefully wrapped one arm around her. The other had switched to gripping the side of the bed. He was able to breathe almost normal now, but speech was still out of the question.

Ephriam's hand seemed to be shaking ever so slightly as he stroked her back. He swallowed hard and let go of the side of the bed (there was a little impression there now). With a faint nod, he slid so that they were both at the head of the bed.

Ephriam licked his lips and took a breath. The key was to remain calm.

"Yesssss." The end of the word was more like a sigh. As opposed to her paleness, his skin was flushed and actually warm to the touch. The man reached up and stroked her cheek.

Ephriam rippled his fingers and then slowly nodded. All of his words still seemed like a sigh.

"Wisssse. You are hypnotisssssing." And he slipped out of the bed, pacing to the door. The vampire paused for a minute, turned with a faint smile and gave a perfect bow before slipping out.

The next hour or so, while her body tried to calm down, was maddening. She was really suddenly wishing she'd ventured into a few other shops while they'd been in town, so that she'd not have to deal with this kind of torture...however, here she was, wishing and praying, and hating she hadn't raped Ephriam when she'd had the chance.

Ephriam's own approach was quite different. His mind clicked in a matter of minutes. It went from that sort of tired moment into something of a buzz, a crazy almost-high. This wasn't that abnormal, after all, he was filtering out not only his own hormones but the blood's. The adrenaline was crazy and the endorphines dashed through him. The man turned to one of the only things he had really drastically modified. He pulled on a pair of boxers and a pants and worked on the rock wall. It went up an entire tower, and yes, he freeclimbed.

Jethro had managed to crawl his way inside, meanwhile. He was laying face down in the foyer on the east wing, grumbling a few curses.

Marina grumbled and complained, and took an ice bath, adn was soon calm enough to look at herself, grumbling and complaining still as she walked towards teh kitchen, and stepped on Jethro.

Looking him over, Marina grumbled ( as she was in a slightly testy mood, cumming down from all this{ Yes, Cumming} ) and sighed as she sat down beside the lump on the floor.

Ephriam materialized this time, his hands clamped over his ears as though that would do some good. He opened his scrunched eyes and eyes immediately darted between the two. The man's eyes seemed to like on fire. And in came the Shakespearean insult.

"You is deformed, crooked, old and sere, ill faced, worse bodied, shapeless everywhere, vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind, stigmatical in making, worse in mind." And Ephriam kicked the man, dislodging that same rib again.

Jethro was laughing and wincing at the same time. It was horrible for him. However he was feeling well enough to pipe in.

"Shakespeare insult." Ephriam looked at Marina's horrified expression and instantly felt bad. But he was also upset with Jethro.

"He smelled it on you. The feed." His was speaking a bit faster. "Your voice rings in my head when you call for me, but it is a million times amplified while I am filtering your blood. This madcap purposely tried to hurt me." Jethro cackled, gripping at his sides with pain.
