Laughing at him she shook her head.

she purred, serving him his food as she laughed softly.

"Born and bred, if you must know." He was insulted.

Ashleigh actually felt bad with how he took it, sighing and moving over to set beside him, doing something completely, and utterly out of character. She kissed him. with no warning. No explanation, merely kissed him, took her food, and wondered to set down in the hall way.

Finishing her meal without issue, she merely took the dishes to the sink and started working on them glancing back to him.

Darryn for a moment thought about saying something about the kiss, but then that seemed kind of strange, so he didn't. He just let it be as he carried his empty plate to her.

"Going to ground him from itching powder?"

Darryn looked at her and spoke in an earnest way. He wasn't being spiteful.

"If he could turn on the water, could spike my clothes, then why couldn't he open the curtains?"

Ashleigh smiled at him, and opened the door to the bathroom she heard noise in, cringing as she saw the soaked floors, broken sink, and the knob to the water faucet rolling about on the floor... the good news? Skye was clean......

Darryn stepped inside, splashing in the water and looking at the wreckage. Then, without warning, he broke into a spontaneous fit of laughter.

"This is amazing!"

Glancing to the two, she tossed a handful of debris at Darryn (nothing that would hurt) and then considered him a moment before taking his shirt and using it to start cleaning with. Two fold benefit.... cleaning towel, and shirtless darryn.... so she was currently in denial about liking him shirtless.

Darryn shook his head, rubbing at his nose where she had just jerked the shirt off of him.

"Sure, I would be glad to volunteer my apparel for a cleaning rag. Go ahead and take it." his eyes shifted back to the pup.

"And you said that you didn't like what you saw." The man reached out to Skye, hoping the pup wouldn't bite him for trying to pick him up.

she replied, tossing a towel at him for him to help with, watching as Skye happily climbed into the man's arms.. Apparently they were square now.

Darryn was fiddling with the faucet, finding that it was beyond all hope. Somehow or another it had been snapped off.
