Ephriam shook his head back and forth, shutting his eyes as she fussed at him. The man just couldn't do this. Then suddenly he reached forward and grabbed her upper arms. If he couldn't say what he meant... The man leaned down and kissed her.

Marina kissed him back, slipping to rest to him as she held to him lightly, following his kiss without much effort, panting slightly when they parted, looking to him, smiling slightly.

The vampire's eyes searched over Marina's face as his nostrils flared slightly to let out a long breath. The man cocked one eyebrow up in response to her smile, his expression asking a question. He held on to her as though if he let go, then the thought would slip away.

" I get it. You do too."

So, dodging that one word was in her blood too, get over it, With a flushed face and a small smile, she nestled tight to him now, breathing still a bit off, resting tight to him.

Ephriam smiled faintly, letting his chin rest on top of her head. His hand rubbed rhythmically at her back as he shut his eyes, just standing there with the girl enveloped and close to his heart. Who knows how long it was until he spoke.

"I finally figured where my shirt walked off to."

Marina smiled softly, looking up to him, eyes sparkling.

" Complaining, lovely?"

She asked gently.

Ephriam smiled gently, looking down at the woman and kissing her on the nose.

"I typically do not." He let forehead rest against hers, smile never fading as he shut his eyes.

Marian smiled, snugglign a bit closer to him for a while, and then grinned, ever so slightly, looking up at him a bit bashfully.

" did I really make out with a girl ?"

Ephriam's face cracked into a wider smile and he let out a laugh.

"I hardly think that there was anyone at the party you failed to kiss, forget about 'girl'."

Marina flushed darker.

" Did I ever mention... I'm very friendly drunk?"

Ephriam raised a brow as though he almost didn't believe her.

"Really now?" He finally let go of her, stepping away to the balcony again.

" It was going fine until you pushed me away... Pushing an intoxicated woman away never works out well, especially when she wants the one she cares about."

she purred faintly, looking him over.

Ephriam held a faint smile as he looked out at the empty room.

"Ooo. Easy now, I am not sure this old heart could take too much toying with."

Marina purred, moving over to him, kissing him lovingly, snuggling up to him once more.

Ephriam kissed her back, pulling away after a moment with a playful groan.

"M'lady, I hate to say it, but you are going to be the death of me tonight." His tongue ran across his teeth.

Ephriam looked at her with a crooked grin.

"I think your judgment might have fallen to folly." He rolled his neck, it popping as he stretched out some too.

"Do you mind fixing your own breakfast?"

She teased as she turned and walked off.

Ephriam let out an exasperated sigh.

"Please! Refrain from calling me 'Eph'!" He shook his head and disappeared. The man had a few issues to deal with. (First amongst which was normally referred to as 'Jethro'.)

That, however, was something that Ephriam REALLY didn't want to be reminded of. If you thought that drunk humans were cooky... talk to a drunk vampire.

It was some time later that the man returned, and when he did, there were two things that might have possibly been worth noticing. First, his face had a healthy flush. Second, there was one pathetic looking Jethro skulking behind him.

Marina looked up, and put things together easily, sighing under her breath, wondering why he hadn't just asked her to go out, moving over to him and kissing him softly.

" Why bring him?"

Ephriam looped his arms around the woman, not understand what she was saying. Jethro showed up all of the time.

"He didn't want Sarah to see him." Jethro had been holding his arm behind his back this entire time and now glanced up sheepishly at Marina, as though he knew he had done something wrong.

Jethro winced as though she had actually smacked him.

"Hey now. I was just... well... you're going to laugh... but she gets a little squimish about my biologics. I..." He just sighed as though giving up. The man pulled his arm out from behind his back, showing that it was bleeding rather profusely and was slightly... purple.

Jethro glared at his arm as though it were some offender, murmuring under his breath.

"I really don't see what he problem is. It's not like it would hurt her. She's not going to be sucking on it." Ephriam just rolled his eyes.

"What were you thinking, Marina? When he first arrived?"

Marina purred softly, not feeling like getting into that sort of conversation right now.

Marina stomped her little feet a bit, looking horrified at the idea.

Ephriam looked at her and laughed. He released her long enough to pull off the overshirt and then the t-shirt underneath.

"It will not be of any difference." He crumpled up the t-shirt and pulled it back on so that it was nice and wrinkly.

"Okay?"

With that she actually stomped on his toes, and made a rather adorable little ' I won't do it' pre-madonnna face and rushed off to her room to get changed and properly dolled up.

Her stomping on his toes wasn't really painful, but Ephriam had actually let her go anyhow. The man had stood there in the hall, quite pointedly not even pulling on his nicer shirt. He was leaning on the door with his arm crossed as he waited for Marina to come back.

Honestly, she'd done a simple cleaning and touch up to herself, a fast short, pulling her hair back in a scrunchie and washing her face, and some real clothes. ten minutes, tops.
