The Dollar Decides How Far You Go

Monica laughed to herself as the wiater fell, moving to kiss Kalan again, then sighed.



" not here. I do not like clapping."



Yeah, what reasons. Letting it go at that, she let her hands wonder over hsi chest as she slid back from him.

[Sushi]

Kalan just shrugged. He really didn't care if she felt the need to be in control, to tell him to stop something he didn't start. That was no big deal, and it made everything run smoother if she thought she could always come out on top. Well, she normally did, but then again, Kalan wasn't trying either.



Adelle, meanwhile, had finished her own lunch and consented to hold the guy's hand. He seemed thrilled about that, which did amuse Adelle slightly. He was handsome enough, she would imagine that he could have had a girl or two on his arm if he wanted to. It seemed that he hadn't, though. It gave him sort of an innocent novelty, which inclined Adelle to play with her food. Yeah, she was going to chew him up and spit him out. Poor guy.

As Monica grew bored, she casually slid out of her seat and took Kalan's hand, tugging him to his feet and wondering out with him.



walking into the apparently now busy streets, Monica groaned as she realized that this was one of those weird towns that loved peddlers, as the streets were filled with their carts, and everyone shouting and hollering at one another.



The only thing that made her grin about the situation? Easy money. One thing she'd never thought to ask?



" Kalan, are you a good pick pocket?"



She wasn't planning on forcing him, ( but she'd believe it ) but if he were...

[Sushi]

Kalan didn't so much as glance at her at first. It seemed like he might not have heard her question, but that wasn't uncommon. He often took his own time with responding to things. True enough, he looked down at the woman after a minute or two, shrugging a little.



"Not incredible, but... Good enough when I can get people to stop staring at me. I am an eyesore."



((I figured, but that was how Kalan took it, not me.))

[Tree]

" I like the fact your stare worthy. "



wow, what a response to his answer.



However, she seemed to be thinking as they were soon weaving in and out of carts that had all sorts of wares, ranging from blankets to coats. Oh, Monica was gonna have fun with this one...



" Play along."



and that's all the warning he got before Monica launched into chatting it up with the nearby sales man, casually slipping things into his pockets without notice.

[Sushi]

Kalan watched her for a little bit. Then he left her to his business, the man walking up to a lady behind another stand. They had a little conversation before the man... bought an apple.

[Tree]

Monica was soon bustling about in the crowd, returning to Kalan and kissing him cutely, sliding a new {leather} jacket ( naturally in his size, she'd bought the last one XD) on him even as she took the torn one off.



" there you go."



Yep, apparently she didn't want him to mend his old one, or she wanted to update his look >.<

[Sushi]

Kalan shrugged slightly in the coat, flexing the sleeves to see how it fit. It wasn't so bad. It would take a couple days to break in, but...



"Am I going to be mugged by some woman for her husband's missing coat?" The man raised a brow. That was ironic. Who would even want to TRY and mug something that looked like him? He held a shiny red apple out to her. Yeah, he didn't buy that one. Granted, he didn't steal it either, but...

Monica smiled slightly, looking over Kalan.



" Anything else of need?"



She asked, answering his question as an after thought.



" No, I actually paid for that one."

[Sushi]

Kalan didn't answer, instead avidly interested suddenly by something else. You see, Adelle had just walked by with a lad a while ago. Kalan had barely noticed it. However, his attention was now drawn to what they were doing.



The young fellow was now standing aside, looking mortified. Why? Well, because a young girl had just shoved Adelle into the fountain angrily.

Monica glanced up at the splash, and winced, suddenly looking around for an umbrella, or three, instead opting for the studio trailer that was for sale, paying for it and dragging Kalan inside as the thunder rolled.



" and people say my temper is bad."



Perhaps her sister would have some control this time? She really didn't need a repeat of that one time with the six tornadoes over a squished toe.

[Sushi]

Kalan clapped his hands together.



"No one said that hers is better." He shifted away from her now. The man wanted to watch.



One word: monsoon.

[Tree]

" Should have bought the boat house."



Yep, that's all she said as she watched out the window with him. if her sister tried to drown her, she'd have to rip her nose off or something.

[Sushi]

Adelle was sitting on a mailbox. Why? Well, she had known it was coming, and this particular mailbox was like a giant wooden crate. It would float. Not that it really mattered. The waters began to recede as soon as the girl was satisfied with the little drowned rat and any other onlookers being washed away.

[Tree]

to her pleasant surprise, the little trailer thing had floated well, and settled down right next to her sister, waiting a few moments before climbing out of the little apartment sized thing.



" better?'

[Sushi]

Adelle was still sitting on the mailbox with her legs crossed, as though nothing had happened at all. She was sulking now.



"No. I'm wet."

[Tree]

"... Make a nice wind and dry off."



monica offered, glancing to kalan.



" or I think my house came with towels >.>"

[Sushi]

Adelle made a face.



"But then I will be cold! Cold and wet!"



Kalan was just leaning against the house, once more steaming.

[Tree]

" well I'm not sharing kalan."



Yeah, of all the whitty replies.

[Sushi]

Adelle looked up with an expression mixed between indignation and disgust.



"Why would I want HIM?!"

[Tree]

Monica nearly smacked her sister. How dare she.



" Just making sure we're clear. He's not drying you off."



yep, simple logic. At this, she moved to kiss him teasingly. Yes, nearly always a one track mind.

[Sushi]

Adelle was glowering. She didn't like the idea of any of this.



"I still say we should have hired the strongman from that circus instead. I bet he could have told all sorts of interesting stories."

[Tree]

" I never stopped you from getting him. I just said my dollar wasn't paying for something on steroids that shrinks vital parts of his anatomy."

[Sushi]

Adelle hopped down.



"I dunno how you handle feeling so obligated. Variety is nice." The woman was apparently cooled down and now on a mild topic.

[Tree]

" I like things that satisfy."



She purred simply, smiling happily at the thought, moving to kiss him vigorously.



" I like my man thing."

[Sushi]

At this attack Kalan fell over. To be fair, it wasn't really his fault. The entire house shifted, and he had been leaning on it.



Adelle just laughed.

[Tree]

Monica landed ontop of Kalan, rather use to him being her support when she attacked him like this, so she just sort of stared at him a moment before shrugging and kissing him again. he wasn't fussing, so he was fine

[Sushi]

Kalan gave her a look when he broke away.



"What? You can't expect me to withstand the earth moving."



Adelle snorted.



"Get a room!"

[Tree]

" I already bought one "



Monica teased perfectly happy, now promptly removing the jacket she'd bought and his shirt.

[Sushi]

Adelle stuck out her tongue.



"Then take advantage of it!"



Kalan was ignored. Big deal.

[Tree]

" I like the out doors."



she informed her sister, looking down to Kalan, kissing at him more.



" No, I don't expect such things, i expect so much more "

[Sushi]

Adelle walked by, smacking her sister on the butt as she walked by. That was the end of that as far as she was concerned. Off to bigger and better stuff.

[Tree]

Monica didn't even register her sister at that point. Yep, she'd washed out every onlooker for miles. She was pretty safe now































Once appeased, monica was pulling on Kalan's shirt ( her's had disappeared somewhere) and letting him keep his jacket and pants as she pulled on her pants and boots.



" You know... I think we need frequent flier miles."



wow, the level of puns.

[Sushi]

Kalan was tying his own boots.



"I've got a punch card for that in my pocket." And the levels deepen.

[Tree]

" really now?"



Eyebrow up, ears perked, clearly interested. That was a new response she'd not gotten. she was currently wondering if she should be getting dressed as she eyed him.



" Kalan..... Have you seen my bra?"



yeah, she just realized it was missing with her shirt. great.

[Sushi]

"Seriously." Kalan pulled out his wallet and produced a 'frequent flier' card. The man glanced around. He saw no sign of her shirt or bra. The man just shrugged.

[Tree]

Monica reached over, grabbing the card, trying not to laugh as she handed it back to Kalan, sighing as she saw no sign of her clothing, secretly blaming her sister and kissing Kalan.



" Impressive."

[Sushi]

Kalan poked it back into place, smirking against her lips.



"If it makes you feel better, I can't tell that you aren't wearing one." Yeah, they kind of skipped around in their conversations.

[Tree]

Monica smiled and kissed him a few more times before nodding.



" I hope it's not noticable. I happen to like a little bit of modesty... they aren't on display for everyone."



she looked over Kalan.



" Just some."



More accurately, at this point in time, one.

[Sushi]

Kalan gave his miniscule vague smile, tickling her sides. He never did get to finish tying his shoe and now he couldn't reach it.



Adelle was sitting on the awning over the clothes store, examining her hair with a mirror.
