At the age of 12 Monica was thrown out of her house, along with her younger sister Adelle (11), both for drinking and dealing drugs. Honestly? no, not something girls that weren't even in their teens should be aware of, let alone doing. But they were, due to home circumstances and bad influences.
Drugs and drinking lead to drugs, drinking, sex, and killing when needed as the pair worked the streets, watching out for the other without hesitation. They were far from their roots in Wales as they now lived in an undisclosed area of Japan, running a nice little underground for vampires, werewolves, shape shifters and humans alike. All were welcome as long as you could pay.
Naturally in a country where women were not seen as able to be in power ( nor did they wish their identity to be completely known anyway, safer that way), the two hired men ( for however long they lasted), or purchased men, to do the deal trading for them. Certainly there were several whom were killed in the process, but the two honestly were unbothered by it and would acquire another.
The current model was Kalan. Standing in at 6' 4", towering both women who measured 5' 6", with arms the size of their thighs, he was definitely intimidating. With icy blue eyes that your breath was stolen by, and a surprisingly light touch. Where had he been found? Off a matchbook. Monica had called it for a good time and got a lot more then expected

Not to mention leaving her place in the form of a phoenix was a nice flare to discretion.
How did human women keep such odd beings in check? they didn't. The girls both were something a bit further then normal. Monica being something of a human siren, keeping men and women alike under her every whim as long as she maintained a certain tone to her voice. While Adelle on the other hand just could throw a temper tantrum with tornadoes, should the mood strike her as such.
so what is the issue for these lovely devious ( D-e-v-i-o-u-s) trio?
Well, that fell on the eve of Monica's 22nd birthday as the sky was lit with bombs and sirens, and their nice little underground home was destroyed, along with all patrons residing inside.
--------------------------------------------
Monica currently was looking to Adelle and sparing Kalan a couple odd glances as they were set down upon the ground a few miles off from where the bombs burst again, coughing slightly, looking about as she found herself in an alleyway again with her sister, eyebrow raising. World War 5 was taking it's toll as the humans were determined to wipe every supernatural being off the face of the planet. Clash of the beings?

((I see you decided to skip the pleasantries and just start me off with two. XD ))
Adelle glared at Kalan.
"Could you be any rougher, featherbrain?! I think you singed my dress!" She snuffed indignantly, turning to face her sister now. She swiped at her windblown hair, the auburn ringlets flying in every which direction. The woman had a smear of soot down the right side of her face.
"What are we going to do now?" Adelle was not nearly as haughty with her sister.
Kalan, meanwhile, seemed entirely unbothered by the whole situation, and was now just standing in the alleyway, straightening his leather coat. He didn't bother to say anything. Was there really any need?

" Go bang some other feather brain, snatch his stash and start over."
Monica replied with a slight eye roll, rather miffed her birthday was going on hold as she started off down the alley, expecting the other two to follow as she started to think a bit more seriously.
" Honestly, this war is getting out of control. It's making it hard for honest crooks to work."

Monica was right in that the two did follow her. Adelle gave a groan.
"You're telling me? Just the other day, there was... Do you remember the Fong guy? He had the nerve to lecture me on my expenditures! That I should be donating time and money to my country, not frivolous commodities. First, I was buying a hairbrush. A hairbrush, Sis! Second, this isn't even my country!" Adelle rounded up her bemoaning there for now.

" Honestly sister, I have told you to buy yourself a sex slave for the cares I have on how we spend our funds."
Monica replied smoothly, glancing back with a slight smile.
" I already have acquired a current enjoyment, however. .... But really this is getting to the point where a Siren can't get herself what she wants without media attention."

Adelle rolled her eyes over the whole thing.
"I have half a mind to rain on their parade... for like... ever." Adelle huffed, catching up so that she could walk beside Monica.
"But what can we do, you know?"
Kalan finally spoke, just a small casual remark. "Speaking of funds, I'm supposed to get paid today." He was feeling them out, trying to figure if he was going to have to wait a day or two, given the circumstances. The man didn't like that option. He was supposed to be paid today. He wanted to be paid today.

Monica glanced back, and she huffed slightly.
" You'll get paid, now hush."
Honestly? She was just in a abnormally fowl mood. Certainly she was always bossy, and a bit pushy, but over all a decent eprson resided in there... somewhere.
" As for what we can do, I am really beginning to think we just might need to honestly retaliate. Certainly we keep getting told we can't fight back because of politics and such, but I am fed up with watching them kill us off without issues."

Adelle scrunched up her nose, not immediately on board with this idea.
"Retaliate? Where? Against the whole world? Just the two of us... and him?" She jabbed a thumb in Kalan's direction. Adelle stuck out her tongue at the thought.
Kalan didn't really care. He looked up at a couple that had walked out of their house, presumably to watch the destruction. However, the couple were staring that the trio walking by. That wasn't surprising. They had all had better days.

" Well, against the whole world might be large scale for two people. But your fully aware of what I mean."
Monica counted smoothly, conversation coming to a pause as she looked over those that passed by, wanting to lean over and hiss at tehm or something with the way they were treated like the plague. Fear of the unknown. Annoying as hell.

Adelle looked at her sister with a shrug.
"I thought this was all talk. I mean, I didn't actually think we were going to do something about it. I thought it was going to be skank and moan and then go back to our conniving daily lives."

" I don't very much care for being hunted like a animal."
Monica replied simply, glancing to Kalan that was following in silence, absently tossing him a small sack full of his sought after monies, continuing to walk on. It would be rather sad if he walked, she much enjoyed a good roll once in a while.

Adelle was taken aback.
"And you think I do?!"
Kalan caught his bag of money wordlessly. The man weighed it carefully before opening it to make sure he hadn't been shorted. It wasn't anything personal - he didn't exactly exist in a realm known for its honesty.
The man was following, however. Truth be told, he didn't have any intent of leaving unless they expressed that he wasn't going to be paid anymore. What? It wasn't a horrible gig, the wages were good, and he needed the money. However, he wasn't about to tell them that. If they ever thought that he was even somewhat attached to this job... Yeah, it was better the other way.

Monica shrugged slightly, rather nonchalant about her sister's statement, caught completely off guard by the gun fire. The bullet nicked Kalan's shoulder, her own ear, and flew right between her sister's fingers.
Muttering a few words no woman should know, let alone say, Monica merely snatched her sister's hand and darted off. Blood would wait for now.

Adelle tightly gripped her sister's hand, stumbling along with her. Her auburn curls smacked against her moist face and she scrunched up her face. This was horrible. But, in a matter of moments a thick fog began to roll in, masking those in the streets.
Kalan, meanwhile, was cursing in his head. Did they have any idea how hard it was to repair leather? He shoved his money in his pocket, unhappy about the flesh wound, but having little other choice but to run close behind the two girls.

Once clear of the city, and well into the hills, Monica sighed as she sat down down to clean her ear in the water nearby, looking over the reflection. her poor ear, that would likely scar.
Frowning, she looked over to Kalan and rather openly grabbed a hold of him, pulling him down to her, pulling his shirt off with no words of request, looking over his shoulder, absently starting to clean him up.

Kalan really didn't care about that either way. It wasn't like it was a big deal. He cast the woman a half glance.
"Do I need stitches?" He ran one hand through his dark hair before reaching over and picking up his coat, sticking his finger through the hole with a scowl.
Adelle sat down on a rock, glaring at the water.
"You know what? Okay. I agree. We should do something."

Monica glanced over to her sister, smiling faintly.
" then we just need to figure what to do."
she purred, eyes returning back to Kalan, shaking her head absently, little hands enjoying their work.
" No, I don't believe so. Pity your hurt though.."
Yep, that was Monica for you -_- Thinking about her boy toy's functionality before his actual health >.<

Kalan shrugged, reaching over for his shirt so that he could tug it back on when she was done.
"You'll just have to punch the other side for now." Yeah, that was pretty much as far as that went in his book. It was a little flesh wound. Besides, if he died, then he would just be born again... granted he would have to start all over from a child... and he might not even be a 'he'... but that was beside the point. Anything less than death was not a big deal.
Adelle frowned, wrinkling up her nose.
"Tsunami. Drown them all sounds fantastic. Granted, that would never work, but..."

" Okay, realistically, any ideas?"

Kalan opted for one of his occasional moments of humor, though it was spoken dryly.
"I'm the beauty and the brawn. You can't expect me to be the brains too."
Adelle was still brooding.
"We could blow them off the edge of the planet with their own bombs."

Adelle glanced at her sister scornfully.
"Well, if you're so smart, why don't you make a suggestion?" She wasn't actually being mean. She was just upset, and it was manifesting itself against everything.

Monica growled and glared at her sister slightly.
" it's not like I have access to a television broadcast that won't be watched by our kind and tell all the humans to off themselves."
She replied flippantly.

"You think they'd listen? I mean, with a little of your voodoo?" The thought was nice at least.

She replied absently.
" simply lack the ability to force them all watch television at the same time and that broadcasting thing...."

Adelle fell over into the muddy bank. She glared, flinging some of the mud at Monica.
"We could do it during the World Cup."
Kalan had meanwhile pulled his shirt and coat on.

Monica ducked the mud, barely, glancing to Kalan and absently tripping him so he'd not walk off, absently removing his shirt again, and stealing his jacket. Apparently she wanted man flesh
" I don't see them all watching that."

Kalan frowned as he peeled himself out of the mud as well.
"You could have asked."
Adelle huffed slightly.
"Fine. Well. Hmph." She sat up, not thrilled. "You know, we don't have to kill all of them. A good multitude would suffice."

Monica glanced to Kalan.
" Have I ever asked to see your flesh?"
However, she clearly paid no mind to whatever answer her might offer her as she eyed her sister.
" Honestly though... I suppose if we remove the politicians... as they are who started the war...?"

"Nah, they are like cockroaches. You might think you have them all squished, but then new ones crawl out of the woodwork. How about the military leaders?"
Kalan, meanwhile, had not graced her retort with a response. The man had instead waded into the river and washed the mud off. He was sitting on a felled tree now, perfectly aware of what he looked like sitting there soaked through, literally steaming as the water evaporated off of him.

" How about both? If we knock off enough leaders, it leaves room for new ideas."
she offered, glancing over to Kalan, smiling to herself as she absently moved to Kalan, whispering into his ear gently.
"Perhaps you should put your shirt back on. I'll do alot infront of my sister, but I have limits."
Apparently, even having almost been killed, she was willing to play

Kalan responded casually.

Adelle was making a face at Kalan.
"Disgusting. You're disgusting." She glanced up at her sister. "It's worth a try, I guess."

Adelle was assessing the man sitting on the rock without care. He was already dry.
"Then that's what we'll do." He was that good? Adelle had problems believing it. The guy just seemed so... bland sometimes. She scrunched up her face.
"Really?" She finally shook her head.
"I'd have to try it before I believed it." Only her sister knew if she was being serious.
...No response from the peanut gallery.
