Hunter nodded. After all, Ryder didn't have a name for a long time.

Naomi sighed, nodding slightly.



Alright...



But her baby...

Or was sh just trying to come to a quick conclusion?

Then we will choose something else. We'll find what fits perfectly.



Hunter smiled reassuringly at Naomi before looking down at the little girl he was holding.

Naomi nodded, slowly slipping to sleep.



... Keep her safe....



She asked gently.

Hunter would just sit there, watching all the children and holding the little newborn close against himself. Sweet family. They were amazing.

Naomi was sound asleep until the tiny little thing would utter it's first little tiny, high pitched cry. It was less then a second, but it brought the mother to wide awake status, and she was up and staring into Hunter's hand. The child was flopping about violently. It's diaper was wet.

Obviously, this wasn't too hard to figure out. However, Hunter handed the child to its mother so that she could do it, so that they could have that together.

Naomi changed the little girl easily, watching her as she wormed about, making a small face. slowly she depressed a bit of breastmilk and got a bit on the tip of her finger, trying the infant's lips. The process would be repeated until the baby was still and sleeping. Naomi's eyes were tender as she looked over the frail thing, seeming afraid to touch the child as she placed it back in Hunter's hands.

Hunter shook his head.



She needs flesh contact with you, remember?

I'll break her... I've already hurt her bad enough...



She'd thrown her out of her body.

No, you won't. You haven't done anything to her... You couldn't have stopped it. It's like the supernatural version of a medical inducement.



Hunter held the child out to her still. She NEEDED her mother.

Naomi looked to the baby, slowly taking it and keeping it cradled close, ignoring the way night wiggled and fussed. He'd have to get over it.

Hunter reached over, picking up the twins.



"Alright, you two. I think that you need baths."

" NO!"



Night protested. Well, first word, and it was no. Wonderful.

Hunter looked down at the boy, brow shooting up.



"I'll bring you back to Mama afterwards."

Ryder would start crying, and little Phoenix would join in. Storm just shut the door behind his daddy, letting Roselyn keep eating.

It wasn't a terribly long process in getting them bathed and into clean clothes. However, when Hunter went to push on the door and found that something on the other side was blocking it, he called out.



"Hey! That's not very nice!"

Storm moved from the door to let his daddy in, looking up at him with a smile. Hi dad

Hunter looked at his boy.



"Did you lock me out?"

" Rir, Fixs ... "



He tried to explain. Their crying, he'd locked the noise out.

Hunter smiled faintly, just shrugging. He carried the boys back over to Naomi. tada!



"That's okay. You let me back in."

Happy boys once more... Naomi smiled, letting them snuggle her, holding the little baby out to Hunter. She wanted to snuggle the others without hurting her.

Hunter would simply take the child, holding her to himself. He would leave ther room then... What was that grinding sound?

Max and Mew... they were attempting to grind coffee grounds in Naomi's blender.... she was gonna kill them.

Hunter just sighed.



"...You know they make pre-ground coffee now, right?"

" Fresh is best!"



Max protested, looking to hunter, and then to mew, who was actually holding the button.

Hunter just stared at Max then and shook his head.



"...Good luck with that."



Mew paused for a minute, looking up.



"Caffieeeeeeennnnneeee."

Max sighed, leaving Mew to destroy Naomi's blender ( Someone was gonna get it later) and followed after Hunter.



" Is she doing any better?"

Hunter considered this before looking up at Max.



"Which one?"



The baby or the mother?







Mew would get her a new one before she noticed.

" naomi."

Hunter gave a slow nod.



"She's doing alright."



Getting better, at least.
