naomi moved, standing before Hunter, noting the big eyes Storm had as he clapped and cheered his mother's attire. Look at mama! Daddy, that was amazing!!



Now the boy was wanting to touch so bad it was funny.

Hunter laughed, scooping the boy up.



"Here, let's go get you washed off and then you can play."

Naomi smiled, watching Hunter and storm wonder off, sitting and staring at the hand prints on the wall, just beaming a tiny bit. they were hard to see, but she saw them and that's all that counted, right?

Hunter would get the two of them cleaned up. Then, he would put the naked kiddo down on the floor in the bedroom while he went to go find himself some clothes.

Naomi smiled as her son tugged on her dress, pointing at her.'

" what?"



he demanded. Naomi smiled.



" Dress?"



Storm frowned, shaking his head.



" What?"



naomi sighed.



" Rainbow? Colors?"



storm considered this, crawling off to his dad. Was mama right?

Hunter, having by now returned, smiled and picked up his boy.



"can you touch the red?"



He pointed to Naomi's dress.

storm frowned. What was red? OH! He reached over and ripped at his mother's dress with a large smile. there He knew mama was wrong, it was a red!

Hunter stilled the boy's hand gently.



"No... no... Red."



he pointed.



"Blue..."



And again.



"Yellow..."

This didn't work. Storm was now pointing to his body the way daddy had pointed at mama's, mouthing the words, unable to actually say them. he thoguht we were talking body parts XD

Hunter laughed.



"Not quite, buddy..."



He reached over and picked up his palette with the dried remnants of colors. Again, he demonstrated.



"Red. Blue. Yellow."

... and storm pointed to the proper... body parts. Nice effort, daddy dearest, i'd hang up your paint brush for the day.

Hunter just laughed and snuggled the boy.



"Eh... not really."



But that was okay. He would figure it out eventually.

Naomi watched father and son, and jumped as she held her head.



Da Da!!!!





Naomi moved into the other room to find Phoenix not screaming or anything, but just crying silent tears. He'd fallen into the floor. Naomi was actually bleeding from the ears from the force of her son's call, but scooped up the child anyway, kisisng at him.

Hunter was blinking a couple of times, looking up.



"Oh geez..."



That was like getting smacked in the face with a 2x4.

Naomi was choking, and sputtering a tiny bit, but the boy was calmed quickly, placing the child in his father's arms. Wrong move.



Da Da Da Da!!!



Naomi was down with that one.... Your son had the names mixed up, cause Storm always called for dada when mama was holding him. Naomi smacked the floor and blood was pouring everywhere at an insanely rapid rate. Crap.... Did your kid really just kill his mother?

Hunter gently put a hand on the child's head.



"Shh... Not so loud... You're hurting Mommy."



Worry passed across his face and he knelt and lifted Naomi, pressing blood to her mouth.

Naomi didn't respond to Hunter, currently spilling about as much blood as was being given at the moment. Storm looked on the verge of killing his younger sibling. Actually, Storm was attacking his brother right now. HE HURT MAMA!!!

Hunter growled.



"Storm. Stop."



He was trying to pick his battles, but...

Considering that little Phoenix was now unconscious thanks to his brother's choking before daddy spoke... Storm growled and looked over his daddy, pointing to his mama.

Hunter turned and gave the boy a glare.



"I said, No. You don't hurt your brothers or sister. I don't care why. That's bad."



He was trying to help the woman, but...

Baby brother was fine, as Storm was just sitting and growling now. He wasn't touching anymore, but he looked coiled to fight. Mother's child.



Either way, Naomi would continue to bleed during this entire issue. She was currently, literally, brain dead. He son had turned her brain to scrambled eggs.

Hunter would eventually shift her to the bed. He had done what he could to stifle the bleeding... however, now he literally ran down to the basement and back. He didn't have the blood in him to keep supporting her like this... so he fetched some bottles.

Naomi would be under for two days before showing any remote signs of life. Like, even her breathing had stopped.



On the night of the second day though, her eyes would just kind of roll open, and she'd look about. She didn't speak. She just stared.

Hunter didn't try to talk to her. Right now, he was tense. He worried. She thought that he was always calm and never showed anything? This was one of those contrary instances. Worry creased his face as he strove to take care of her and the kids.

The kids were docile and okay.. well... Storm growled and hissed at his little brothers the moment the thought of even looking at him. he hated them now. Look what had happened to his mama!





Naomi would remain silent and uncertain, kind of startled, too, as she looked up at Hunter. Words came now.



" Who are you?"



The words were rough, and broken, as if she had almost forgotten how to speak. her brain was being hard pressed to put pieces back together at the moment.

"The person taking care of you. Just rest."



Hunter stroked her hair just once.

Naomi nodded slowly, looking to the kiddos that were nursing from her.



" Who are they?"



Yeah, no freaking out, just questions.

"Your children," he answered softly.



"Some of them, at least."

" I had kids?"



She asked, eyebrows raised now.

"Have."



Hunter gave a small nod.

" Have?"



She asked, eyes turning up to him.

"You have kids."



He gestured to the little ones.

" No."



She stated simply, pushing at the infants at this moment.

Hunter took the little ones to himself, giving her a sad look.



"I wouldn't make something like that up..."

Naomi shifted back, seeming leery as she considered the people about her.



" ... I would not keep the children, even if I had them."

"You did. For me."



Hunter sat down, snuggling the children.

" And you are?"



She asked, having a vague recollection, but a burning and yearning between her legs wasn't enough for her to keep kids.
