Let's Play!

" It doesn't mind me dressed."

Darryn's eyes gave a sly glimmer.



"That wasn't at all what I was getting at."

ashleigh smiled, ever so slightly.



" I haven't the faintest what your referring to."

Darryn lifted both hands and shook his head as though almost apologizing.



"Oh, of course not."

Ashleigh nodded in a way to tempt the most pure as she smiled a bit more, looking him over.



" Do you want a shirt?"

Darryn didn't break eye contact, his toothy grin still in place.



"Oh, not particularly." The man stepped forward, debating for a moment whether he wanted to use a cheesy line. Why not? They made for an interesting time at least.



"I could walk through a snowstorm and not feel a thing - you're that hot." And that was how to hit on someone with style.

Ashleigh actually blushed, which, by the way, was extremely challenging for a vampire, but she managed it with ease as she pointedly looked away. That was awkward. she hadn't played this game in a while, and she typically avoided it when it offered... however, she opted for the blush. it was working for her.

Darryn just gave her a smile and wink. The man then walked off, deciding that right then was as good as time as any to get his PacMan on. Really, there was a fine line between class and overdoing it.

Still flushed, she was currently looking down as she considered how to handle the situation starting to unfold.... She not only hit on him... he was hititng back!!!!!!!

Darryn, on the other hand, didn't have to think about how to consider the matter at all. He was just doing it.



And that currently involved trying to chomp down on a little blue ghostie before the power pellet expired.

After a while, Ashleigh went to shower, and dress. As she was cleaned and done, she looked about, she sighed, considering everything in her room. So, looking at her anti-men reminders, she considered, was playing with this man, even worth the potential risk? even if she was sincere in her ' games ' ....?

See, Darryn didn't have her problems. He wasn't anti-female, though. In fact, he kinda sorta liked them. Especially as opposed to the alternative. The man had decided that (since for once the day seemed to be going rather leisurely) he would take a midday nap. That explained the Darryn sleeping sprawled in a beanbag chair.

Ashleigh found him later, and smirked to herself as she watched him sleeping, leaning on the doorframe.

Darryn's chest steadily rose and fell, and it was in mid-snore that he began to wrestle with the beanbag. Well, at least Ashleigh wasn't so bothersome as to wake him. And at least he wasn't having nightmares. And... it was probably a good thing he was a faint snorer or else he would have snorted in the little beanie pellets by now.

ashleigh giggled and shook her head, and wodnered to her kitchen, returning with little frozen oranges, about the size of grapes ( kumquats by name) and started throwing them at the sleeping man... She couldn't resist and all.

The first one bounced right off of the man's arm. The second one he rolled, now using the beanbag to deflect. It was almost like a war dream or something. About seven kumquats later, one beaned him straight in the head, bouncing. He caught it in his mouth, opening his eyes with a grin. Exactly how long had be been awake...?

ashleigh smiled at him. New way to feed each other for the win?



" Enjoy?"

Darryn grinned back, his lips wrapping around it. What happened next was actually almost remarkable. He moved the orange around in his mouth seeming thoughtfully, and then he spat out the entire rind in one whole ribbon. It was only after eating the kumquat that he spoke.



"Thank you." You know, it was probably a pretty safe bet that he could do the cherry stem thing..

Ashleigh smiled, watching him... if he could do that with his tongue to an orange.



Ashleigh blushed once more, murmuring a ' your welcome' and was thinking about vanishing now.

Darryn picked up a few of the misfired kumquats and began to juggle them. Why? It was fun. He tossed one at Ashleigh lightly, never breaking the cycle.

Ashleigh caught it with ease, watching him, mind still set on a much different line of thought, until she smiled a bit more.



Good with his hands, too.

That one was loud. Darryn caught it and grinned, shifting so that he was juggling behind his back with one hand.



"This is nothing. You should see what I can do." Come on... a series of innuendo between two vampires? Unheard of!

Looking to him, she smirked, ever so slightly.



" Nothing to what I can do."

Darryn's eyebrows lifted up, his expression somewhere between curiosity and surprise.



"Oh really? How about a demonstration?" See, that was classy.

ashleigh smirked even more.



" I'll show you how I can juggle things, later.... and with different objects."

"It's a date." Now Darryn was starting to get a little close to overdoing it... But he knew it, so he was taking it easy for the mintue.

Ashleigh smiled as she let the line drop as she took off down the hall, swallowing slowly.



Oh, dear.

Darryn didn't try to follow her. Nope. This time he was off to explore. Or something... Maybe find that candy room again...

Let's play with fire a bit more.



However, ashleigh wondered upstairs to dance in a few of her long forgotten dresses, before actually wearing one back downstairs.

Darryn found himself standing in a box. Okay, it was a little more than a box. It was kind of like some funky clothes closet. It seemed like it should be a passageway... There was just that sort of feel about it. Darryn rapped and tugged, but it was when he stepped so that he was pressed against the wall that it spit him out on the other side. He caught his balance and found himself looked straight at a stranger in a dress. Oh wait, it was Ashleigh.

Ashleigh looked at darryn, and smiled as she looked down at him.



" Still exploring?"

Darryn glanced back at the seamless panel.



"No. I sat there for hours, waiting to ambush you. Wasn't as fun as I thought it would be."

" It'd be more fun to ambush me in my shower, then in my hallway."

Darryn held up a finger.



"But that, my dear lady, would be not only be cliche - it would be in bad taste."

Ashleigh smiled slightly, eyeing him.



" Cliche, I'm more fun otherwise."



she laughed, looking him over.

Darryn grinned at her, stepping forward a pace.



"Oh? Well, in that case... Maybe I am exploring after all."

Ashleigh laughed and smiled at him, looking at him a moment more before turning, walking off slowly.

This time Darryn followed her.



"What is the occasion?" His index finger hooked and released the back of her dress briefly.

Ashleigh looked at him a moment, smiling and blushing slightly.



"I'm not allowed to wear dresses?"

Darryn shrugged slightly.



"Well yeah... I was just thinking this was a particularly nice looking dress."
