Aion spread his wings and then flew off. He had enough.

" May hell's embrace find him."



She cursed, shifting and sliding into the house, dressing.

Hunter glanced at the door.



"This sort of thing seems to happen to you a lot."



He mused about this, watching her absently.

" My life sucks, welcome to it."



She stated, tugging the super short shorts on. Okay, she'd been sixteen. hence the booty shorts and midriff tee... she pulled it off even now though, given the leather wrist warmers and b**** like boots it was paired with.



" well, I did plan on taking the necklace back anyway...?"

"So are we going back there now?"



Hunter glanced over her casually.

" yes... but I'm walking."



she replied, glancing over the water. She'd been dying to test this.



she was right. they could skid water if they ran fast enough.

"Are you enjoying yourself?"



Hunter was amused by her antics.

Naomi smirked and kind of jumped mid dash.



" Awesome!"

Hunter just rolled his eyes. Newbloods. The man dove into the water then, not so interested in running.

Naomi giggled as she jumped, from the water, into the sky. She could not help herself. This was a nice to burn extra energy. She leaped from tree to tree, now on land.

Hunter soon walked out onto the beach.

She'd caught the newblood thing. Oh well, no biggie, she didn't seem cross.

Hunter had been merely amused, really. He was wringing out his clothes now.

Naomi watched Hunter, bouncing slightly.

Naomi could not help that look that crept over her face.

Hunter was amused and chuckling, however. He moved further away from the waters now, walking through the trees.

Naomi giggled and sprung off.

she giggled, bouncing about. Energy, loads of it. Not all of this was Hunter's fault. She felt a tension in her body. Unrelated to vampireness.

Hunter just walked along for a while.

Hunter glanced at her.



I figure it'll happen when it does and there is very little that can be done about that. Why bother thinking about it?



He looked ahead again.



And, by the way, I would be fine if I wasn't there.

Hunter sighed.



We're not so different in this aspect. I just prefer not to stress about the inevitable.

Naomi smiled, sliding down and walk/running/moving next to Hunter now.

She purred, moving to steal a kiss mid movement.

Hunter glanced at her after a moment.



You look like you're about to implode or something.

I seem to grow energy for a small amount of time, too.



she offered, kind of wearing down to a tolerable level, wondering off.

It could be natural. Type Bs tend to be hyperactive right after feeding.



Hunter shrugged.

... You can't get me pregnant, can you?



She asked all of a sudden.



( Likely, yes, but given the track record of type A's, your pretty safe) ....



Why did she ask? Cause she had ODed on the morning after pills for years..... Like, up until she'd been in his house... She was not ready for a kid. This was clear as she was standing there, looking completely horrified.



" I can not have a kid..."



No offense, but kids scared the sh*t out of her.

Hunter glanced over at her.



"There is a minute possibility. However, it is very rare to come across vampires of my type that are not sterile. Combine this with the fact that females of your type can only get pregnant and maintain the pregnancy contingent on a high body temperature, and the possibility becomes slim to none."

" Thank freakin god."



she seemed to relax, then she glanced to hunter. Crap, that was a conversation they hadn't had...



" Kids scare me."



Simply put. More interestingly, becoming her parents, any set of them, scared her more.

Hunter shrugged.



"I don't have a problem with them."



Then again, he'd been around with a while.



"They are just mini people."

" they're scary."



She stated simply.

Hunter looked at her quizzically.



"They barely understand half of what you say, and YOU are afraid of THEM?"



He glanced over her.



"Why?"

" They bring my vulnerabilities."



She answered honestly.

Hunter smiled then.



"Everyone has some."

" vulnerabilities I'd rather not test the limits of."



Naomi sighed out, suddenly thankful...



Time passed before she offered her next statement.

Hunter's mouth twitched. He shrugged, glancing away.



Our men seem to struggle with it less than our women. Something to do with the body being resistant to change - resistant to accommodating pregnancy. You saw all of the Darrenthrope Queen's children, and Ian has one by a ghost.

I was wondering about that. That's a freakin ton of kids. It's suffocating.



Yeah, well, she didn't exactly favor them. But after a while, she was trying to decide if she should tell him when and such. After all, she'd aborted it around when her period was due, and before the child had a heart beat... so it was very doubtful he'd have thought too much about it. The chemical composition of something that early was nearly the same.....



Naomi was rather uncomfortable. He had been perfectly comfortable with kids... She was worrying about what if he had wanted the... thing. That ... She was not looking forward to the rest of where this conversation could go.
