Kai walked around her, trying to ignore the way his stomach was growling.

"Fair enough, I suppose. I'm assuming there was something that you had to say?"

She asked as she was already leading form the house and off towards another direction, through another field.

Kai laughed bitterly.

"After I told my parents that my brother was going to die, they thought I might be disturbed. After it actually happened, I was like the plague. Are you kidding me?"

Kai shrugged and gave a simple response.

"Does it ever get troublesome having to feed off of people?" It wasn't actually a question. It was a point.

Kai smiled and chuckled himself, mimicking a made-up conversation between two people as they walked.

"Oh yeah? And the horse just bucked him right off?! You don't say. Hey, could you just tilt your head back a little more, maybe unbutton your collar?"

"Do what?!" Malykai glanced at Ajora.

"Yeah, I could see that."

Kai just chuckled, eyes drawn to the bird soaring overhead. After the jay had ducked into a tree, he returned to speaking.

"Where are we going?"

Malykai nodded slowly.

"I like Michigan. The boating is nice." But then a thought occurred to him and he nearly jumped away from her. He was not going to be caught by surprise this time. Were they walking?

Kai gave her a flat look. Somehow that wasn't comforting.

"Great. Now instead of dreaming about blue cupcakes with yellow sprinkles, I'm going to have nightmares about all the circumstances under which you would be taking a single limb of mine to another state..."

Kai blinked a few times, suddenly very nervous.

"Um... How... does... that... make... you... feel?" He was not sure if he should apologize or rephrase.

Malykai looked down bashfully.

"I was trying to ascertain your psychological state of mind at the moment." He glanced up at her.

"I... guess..." He shut his eyes really tight and tensed up every muscle in his body. I'm gonna die

Ajora smiled with relief and moved to snatch his arm. This time she held him a bit closer, merely cause it was easier to do, soon appearing with their feet upon the deck of a large sailing ship, and Ajora was unknotting the ropes.

Malykai didn't budge one iota as he stood there.

"Ugh... I think I'm going to be sick. Except I haven't eaten anything in 24 hours, so I would have nothing to... Uhp, never mind..." And he actually did puke over the side of the boat.

ajor actually laughed faintly as she moved to get the boat leaving shore, looking over the man that was attempting to turn his stomach inside out.

" There is food on this boat."

Kai eventually did eventually recover. The man sighed, wiping his mouth.

"Food sounds nice." He glanced from the waters chopping around the boat to the door to down below. He made his way down and almost got nailed by someone trying to hit him with a broomstick. Malykai held up his hands and followed his first instinct: lie.

"Hey, don't attack me! I'm being held hostage here too!" He looked at the scrawny lad and sighed. The kid couldn't have been a day over eighteen.

Kai hands fell by his sides He just watched for a minute, unsure of what to do. However, he decided that it was a very awkward thing. He just decided that he would walk away. he didn't like dying people, and ESPECIALLY didn't like dead people.

She didn't kill him, but he was tossed, unconscious in a life boat and left him there, on his own, leading on.

Ajora wondered over to the captians seat, kicking back as they sailed on. Lovely.

Kai found his way into the kitchen. Food! Disgusting hardtack and coffee, but it was food! Were there others aboard?

Ajora sighed as she moved to wondered off after Kai, finding him in the galley, looking at him with a light smirk. She wasn't a mind reader, however.

Malykai stared at her, chewing his food and swallowing before saying anything.

"Um... do you... I mean... is he... er... I can't..." Kai sighed and rubbed his face.

"Okay. I'm just going to be completely clear with you. I don't have a problem watching people die. It almost even a habit. However, if you kill them, there are two things. First, if you get caught, it's all on you. Second, I am not under any circumstance going to help you with the corpse. I just can't handle that."
