Ashleigh laughed and smiled, nodding.



" Yes, yes, make yourself comfortable."



Nice words, from Ashleigh. Sweet.

Darryn walked over the bed, prodding the cream colored eiderdown. Then, carefully he sat down, putting his hands on his knees as he looked around. Then, just because he couldn't resist, he bounced slightly, grinning at the springiness.

ashleigh sighed softly.



" I'd prefer no feathers everywhere in the morning."

Darryn looked at her and then lifted his hands pressing the fingers together into a little oval shape which he held over his head.



"I'll be good, promise."

" Why, do I not believe?"

Darryn let his hands uncurl slightly so the forefingers were hooked on either side of his head.



"You're the one that put me in here..." He stuck out his tongue.

" ... yes, and I could do otehr things too, so watch it."

Darryn just grinned and then turned so that he could lay on the bed, tucking his hands behind his head as he shut his eyes.



"Well then I have nothing to worry about. I'm sure that whatever you come up with would be far more conclusive than hijacked bath soaps and itching powder." Okay, maybe his view on what to worry about was a little off-kilter.

Ashleigh looked him over, sighing inwardly.



" Naturally, I get a sadist in my house."

Darryn held up a finger in a 'but!' motion.



"Or perhaps you're simply a masochist."

" ... it would take one, to know one."

Darryn just smiled.



"Touche."

" Not yet.'



She replied, smirking

The man simply grinned as though he knew something she didn't.



"Sleep well."

" always."



she replied, wodnering off.

The man didn't bother to get up and close the door. After all, this room wasn't on the outside edges of the building. There was no way sunlight could get in. (It was something that you noticed in a state such as his.) Instead the man actually just slipped off into slumber as he was, rather pleased overall.

Ashleigh slept, and rose, looking to get her bathroom remodeled, working on it well before darryn, humming to herself, something that sounded something like ' buttons' ...

When Darryn got up, he spent a good fifteen minutes picking the lock to the closet. He wasn't very good at said action, which was apparent due to the fact it was a spring lock. After he did manage to open the door, however, he was rewarded by the option of non-itch clothing. He pulled on a pair of black pants and a shirt, but then as he walked back to the room, he began to reconsider. With the way things had been going recently... Darryn pulled the shirt back off and put it on the bed, opting to just save the universe the trouble of having to formulate a new way to get rid of the shirt.



He walked down the hallway, and was exceptionally proud of himself when he made it to the kitchen without any help at all! Time to raid the cereal...

Discovering her food supply was in danger, she had to laugh as she watched him dig through the plastic containers of food to figure out what was cereal, laughing to herself she continued to watch from the shadows, enjoying the break from her bathroom work.

Darryn heard the laughter, but continued to rummage nonetheless. It was breakfast time. And when he found the Lucky Charms he was in business. The man tried to open the refrigerator and was boggled to find it stuck. Then he saw it.



"Child-proof fridge lock?!"

" ... Skye."



she explained simply, watching him fight with the lock, laughing a bit more.

Darryn was frowning deeply.



"This is why I don't take medicine either..." He grumbled and mumbled until his entire countenance lit up as the result of one single sound. Click. The milk was his to be had!

ashleigh was laughing, softly, but constantly as she walked into the kitchen, looking the shirtless man over, shaking her head slowly.



" Brazen, and a bit naive."

Darryn at first looked down at the cereal, the spoon stopping halfway to his mouth. Hold it, buddy-boy. Consider this for a minute. - I thought she said I could... - It's her food. Maybe you were supposed to ask. Be polite. - But... I... - She might disembowel you. - Erg... What if it's not the cereal? Then I'll feel stupid. - What else would it be? - Uh... Uh... His eyes darted over the immediate area. Then it hit him. OH!



"I thought that I wouldn't personally be the single cause for the liquidation of your entire shirt collection."

" There would be worse things then me having a shortage of men's attire in my house."

Darryn swallowed his bite.



"Okay, okay. If you insist, I'll go get one... right after I finish breakfast."

" Not really pushing, merely pointing out a fact."



She purred, looking him over with a light chuckle.



" Nice to see your one of those that don't really scar though."

Darryn flicked a little white sliver at the base of his shoulder.



"I try." haha. So punny.

Ashleigh looked him over.



" Your very, very egotistical."

The man took another bite.



"It's like a bear putting on padding for the winter."

" .............. How on earth were you enjoying living by yourself?"



she asked, rather confused.

Darryn looked up at her with a crooked smile.



"Exactly like that. It's like a bear putting on padding for the winter." He winked at her.



"If I don't do it, then no one will."

Ashleigh looked him over, and then did something she was probably starting to become known for. something completely unexpected. this time though, she dumped an entire bowl of sugar on his head, managing to keep a completely straight face as she did it, commenting on the fact sugar helps you fatten up.

Darryn actually laughed, reaching up and dusting the sugar out of his brown hair.



"See? That would have been one more shirt for the laundry hamper, but me being the insightful fellow I am, just saved you the trouble."

" I don't really do laundry that often anyway... you should see how big the laundry room is."

To this one Darryn gave another good-hearted laugh and stood up. Sugar cascaded to the floor.



"A woman after my own heart."

Ashleigh looked over him, smirking as she watched it start pooling into his pants.



" Back fired?"

The man shrugged and shook his legs.



"Well... I didn't have much choice, did I?"

Ashleigh smiled, laughing inwardly a she watched him take on a glittering effect.



" You know... You should see yourself right now."

Darryn looked down, trying to see himself as best as possible. Then it hit him.



"Good grief! I look like that fictional vampire from that new movie... Uh..." He couldn't recall the name.
