Looking up, Victoria kept her silence as she looked about, not sure what to say to this new appearance, wondering what it was like to be back in a city after being trapped off for so long... wondering if she could sneak off to a phone to check on her father's condition... then she ruled it out, not wanting to know... If he was dead, better not to know.

Lot looked at her, feeling a bit frustrated.

"Look. Cheer up." He climbed out of the car and pulled open the front door, waiting for her.

"You can even pick." He was trying really hard. Hopefully this was how it was supposed to go.

Victoria looked at him now, wondering a few things.

" I want to. But I don't know what your expecting. I know how I feel, I know i can't have it, but now your being decent, and it puts me on edge... That's how I got to feeling like this in the first place. ... I don't know what kind of solution your looking for. I can't stomach being ' friends' on any level... and I can't have what feels right. So I'm trying to return to the role that I am, and your merely confusing me. I don't understand."

She explained softly, standing slowly, eyes locked on him.

" I can't wash my feelings away... I'm sorry."

Lot looked at her and then to the door and back. He frowned deeply. This was very... He didn't even know what it was. It was frustrating. It was almost painful.

"I..." He adjusted his grip on the door. She might as well have shoved a sock in his throat - he would have had the same ability for verbal communication. Be nice. Be sensitive. Be... girly. Like a manly girly. Come on. Once upon a time you were quite the charmer, Lot. What did you do different? ...You didn't buy the people around you. Other than that? ...I don't remember!

"I am not used to company." He offered it pathetically as his eyes shifted to the darkness on the other side of the door. A woman nearby cast him one of the strangest looks, and he returned a glare.

" .... Just tell me what you want me to be."

She asked slowly, standing infront of him, face a few inches from his, body barely brushing his as her eyes never left him, heart rate surprisingly steady.

Lot looked down at her, his fingers releasing the heavy door so that it swung shut. The man peered into her honey-brown eyes, not exactly thrown off, but not exactly right on either.

"I... haven't figured it out yet." He looped one arm around her waist. Go for charming. Go for charming. Go for charming. His voice lowered.

"But I liked you better than the others." Way to stick the landing!

Glancing to her master, she relaxed, slowly, and seemed to lighten slightly, hands resting upon his ever so lightly.

" Then be patient with me, please. If you don't know what you want, I certainly can't be expected to be following your wished guidelines."

she informed him softly.

Lot's eyes drifted away.

"I know a couple things that I don't want, though. I don't want you being entirely miserable." Nice phrasing. He was on a roll.

"And... I don't want to be late for the movie. And I don't want soggy popcorn."

" Then let me be me, kill me, or let me go."

She said softly, looking over at him and nuzzling him lightly as she let him guide her now, simply looking for reassurance.

Lot didn't respond to this one, instead walking into the cinema. He paused and looked up at the movie listings. Surprisingly, there were several good new ones showing within the next fifteen minutes. The man pulled out his billfold and began to remove the amount of money two tickets would cost.

"Which one?"

Looking at the titles, and not knowing what any of them are, she took a minute before she pointed to the one she thought looked the best, knowing the actors adn actresses in it.

Lot paid for the tickets, handing one to Elizabeth as he made his way to the back. Thee usher boredly tore the stubs off the tickets and gestured them towards the hall on the right, informing that it was the direction of theater number four. It didn't take Lot very long to buy a medium bag of popcorn and large soda... and some candies just for measure.

Marina merely took the soda off his hands as they walked, glad he'd picked something to drink that wasn't awful, settling down in her seat as the lights started dimming.

Lot sat there in the dark too, occasionally taking a piece or two of popcorn and pretending to eat it. In reality, he would crush it for the sound and then discreetly let it drop into the crevice between the seats.

victoria relaxed slowly, resting her head upon his shoulder as she smiled at the movie now and again, enjoying it quite a bit, but she couldn't manage to laugh...

Meanwhile, Lot was really not paying that much attention to the movie. Well, he was watching it enough to get the gist of it but that was as far as it went. He was much more interested in musing over Elizabeth's faces... and the couple smooching a few rows below them. Interesting choice of atmosphere. Comedy equals kiss?

Relaxing to the point her mind let down, she closing her eyes on his shoulder she snuggled down, starting to fall out once in a while.

Interesting choice of atmosphere. Lot just let her for once. On the bright side, by the time that the movie was over, he had managed to dispose of about half of the popcorn in the bag. No, he hadn't dropped it all in the crack. Nope, he had taken the liberty of flicking quite a bit across the theater. When he hit a teen in the forehead, it took everything in him not to laugh. As the lights came back on Lot looked down to see if she was awake.

Small smile plaster on her face, Victoria was actually awake, and looking rather content with life as she lightly held to her master, taking in the scene.

Lot sat there for a minute and then glanced around at the other people walking down the aisle. Then, with a hint of amusement, his eyes turned back to Elizabeth.

"I can't decide if you enjoyed the movie or if I'm about to get a kiss." He arced one brow up in something between a joke or a cocky move. Logically those two would be intertwined - well, at least it was logical to Lot.

Smiling slightly, Victoria decided to grace his lips with her's as she slowly moved to her feet, looking over her master.

" Why can't it be both?"

she asked, rather simply as she cutely reached for his hand, tugging at him gently to stand.

Lot flashed her his most charming (or maybe womanizing) grin.

"If you insist." The man stood up, letting his fingers twine in with hers. It seemed that the movie had helped. At least for now. Hopefully it would last...

Smiling as he stood with her, and down right beaming as his fingers held to her's, she looked up at him as she walked close beside him, biting her lip lightly as she now asked the question she really didn't think she'd like the answer to.

" Are we going home now?"

Lot looked down at her, his mouth twitching. Something in his brain registered that she had called it 'home', which induced a rather amusing thought process. One that was so amusing and so short-lived that it isn't even really worth mentioning.

"Y..." He paused. "Is there something else you were wanting? Keep in mind your current continental location."

Lot sighed slightly as he walked out of the theater. He paused on the corner and glanced around.

"I don't normally do 'out of the house'. I find it rather... troublesome."

" well, I'm rather troublesome, so we tend to get along, so I do do, out of the house..."

She purred with a pout, looking up at him.

Lot sighed long, gesturing towards the town around them.

"Fine, fine. You cannot drive the car, but... lead away." This will only end badly.

" I dunno where anything is."

She protested, pouting a bit more.

" Pick a place."

Lot let out a frustrated groan.

"Ugh..." He thought for a minute.

"There are a few clothing stores. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you would like clothes stores."

Smiling veyr largerly, she nodded and was off in mere moments in the direction he'd unknowingly indicated while talking about the stores in question, tugging him along behind her.

In perhaps less then ten minutes, Victoria was probably waist deep ( figuratively speaking) in lace, leather, and little tiny straps. Lingerie.

Lot, meanwhile, had quite patiently stood near the front of the store. Strangely enough, he didn't look morbidly out of place. He didn't look gay either. No, Lot looked like the cool, mysterious sort of guy that scouted out tastefully in a place chalk full of women. He was leaning against the counter casually as the little assistant lady scurried back and forth with items for Elizabeth.

as Victoria soon had a nice little pile of boxes and bags lined up that she was totally in love with ( and refusing to part with) she wondered up front in a fuzzy little white robe that was just barely long enough, tugging him after her... towards the fitting room. She actually didn't even explain, merely drug him along, planning on getting opinions about the outfits she wasn't sure about.

Lot didn't argue. I mean... really... Think about this. Man in woman's dressing room.

The little sales lady didn't seem quite as keen on it, but he shot her a look and went on anyhow.

"Yes?"

" I dunno what I think of a few of these outfits."

She said softly, soon spinning in a little leather outfit that hugged ehr curves with leather straps, and a few little patches to cover everything just right, looking at him curiously, still openly undecided.

Smiling, she nodded and took it off and put it in a pile on the floor and grabbed a bother one down that a sheer lace top with a little silky lace mini-mini skirt bottom, spinning slowly.

Lot lowered his voice, smiling devilishly.

"Careful. I might just take advantage of the opportunity."
