Let's Play!

Ajora after a while would find herself with a new situation to deal with. At some point, Kai shifted in his sleep so that the three inches closed, his forehead pressed against her shoulder. It wasn't bothering him, and he was thoroughly asleep. What was she going to do?

Ashleigh started slightly, looking down to Kai, blinking slowly. She seemed... unsettled with this contact, you ( Like Lucian, who was still awake) would wonder if she was gay, or molested as a child if you saw the look Kai was getting this exact second. either way, she returned to sleep quickly.

Kai actually remained out of it (no fault to the pain meds, surely) until the next day.



Lucien was the first one awake - then again, he had been having trouble sleeping. In the morning, though, the power was restored as the storm had passed. Now it was just raining.



"Let's go get some breakfast." He took Z with him.







Kai woke with a very violent start, slamming his head against Ajora's.

It was enough to knock the woman from the bed and into the floor. She was not hurting, or mad. However, she did look up at Kai. Was he okay?

"Uhnnn..."



Kai had his teeth gritted and his hands clutching his head.



"You have a head like a brick wall!"

" I am sorry."



Ajora actually apologized.

Kai opened his eyes, staring at her. The man seemed a lot better today.



"...Why? You're the one on the floor."

" I should have not been sleeping so deeply."



She normally didn't, but in the middle of a hurricane, she thought she was safe.

Kai shook his head slowly.



"No worries."



He just smiled now, sitting up.

" You feeling any better?"

Kai nodded, looking around. Today he actually felt like he might be able to get up and walk around if he wanted to. He still had a headache, but comparatively that was heaven.
