Let's Play!

Vynz furrowed his brow.



"Fully formed sentences are appreciated." He had a feeling though, and he wasn't sure he liked where it was going. Something about using him as a hound dog...

Sighing, she looked over Vynz.



" Well, rent a car it is. Any ideas where that would be?"

Vynz shrugged slightly.



"I saw something shiny that way." He pointed to the left.

" well, let's try it."



she purred, shrugging as she followed him without a word.

Vynz stopped in front of what turned out to be an ice cream shop with a huge shiny spinning thing out front.



"Well... It is shiny."

Suri smirked, shaking her head.



" Not what we need, but I'll take ice cream."

Vynz laughed.



"Well, I tried." He reached out and held the door.

smiling happily, she soon had a large ice cream ( and yes, vynz was forced to eat for appearance sake, and he had a bigger ice cream then suri!) and was wondering back outside, looking to the vampire.



" Now where should we wonder without a map of guide or GPS?"

Vynz hadn't really put up that big of a fight. He liked ice cream. The man was licking the strawberry goodness when she spoke. He cast her a sideways glance. He licked again before sighing.



"Oh fine." He held the ice cream away from his face and shut his eyes. One could actually see his ears shift position just slightly if they were watching close enough ((NOT bending rules! I'm a human and I can do that!)) and he inhaled deeply. After a minute, he opened his eyes and pointed down a street.



"New car smell."

Smirking, she smiled brightly and followed his point, dragging him along. He acted as if it wasn't his life they were concerned with.

Vynz grumbled under his breath, something about acting like he was no better than a flea-ridden mutt. But then he went back to eating his ice cream cone and was happy with life. Man, simple pleasures... This did turn out to be a rental place, by the way. He looked at Suri.



"Tada?"

Suri grinned and leaned over to place a 'thank you' kiss upon his ice cream covered lips before darting off inside to take care of the rest.

Vynz thought nothing about it, sitting out there and eating his ice cream. Munchcrunch. Crunchmunch. He watched as a snake slithered by on the concrete, chased by a small child. Then he had to wondering if Suri had something to do with that.

Suri smiled happily as she held up keys to him.



" Let's go."



she purred, tossing them to the man.

Vynz climbed into the car, and only turned to Suri after he had started driving.



"Hey, did you do something with a... never mind." He leaned forward and put the locket on the dashboard.

" Just an animated stick."



she replied with a small twinkle on her face.



" He wouldn't get out of the way."

Vynz laughed lightly.



"Well, I guess we all have our own way of getting our kicks." He drove, following the point.

" Hope this doesn't lead, oh, I don't know, to a man eating monster."

Vynz widened his eyes and spoke in his creepy mad scientist voice.



"Oh, but I hope it does! It lives! IT LIVES! MWAHAHAHA!"

Suri chuckled and shook her head, looking him over as she polished off ehr ice cream.



" I think I'd be alright without the monsters under my bed."

Vynz shrugged.



"Why do you think that there is no way to get under my bed?"

"Because you are the monster "



she replied with a large smirk.

Vynz shook his head, but he couldn't help the little smile.



"There are far worse things than me out there."

Suri made a small face, smiling slowly.



" like little girls with funny bottles and sticks?"

"Yeah, those are the worst. You always feel like you're about to step in it, but you never know what IT is." Vynz flashed her a mischievous grin.

suri looked at him, wrinkling her nose as she looked over him, moving to poke him in the forehead.



" we're not dangerous."

Vynz snapped his teeth together at the offending finger. However, he was by no means going to bite it - he wasn't even close. It was just a gesture similar to her poking him.



"I am. Rawr."

Suri stared at him, shaking her head, looking to the window, trying not to laugh at him.



" Your a harmless kitten, and you know it! You look nothing like Jacob and edward! Even dracula is scarier!"

Vynz actually laughed now.



"Yeah well... You can't be awesome at EVERYTHING."

Suri giggled, looking to the scenery passing by a moment.



" You know, that's a good point, what is this woman not good at?"

Vynz sighed, his expression losing light.



"Humility. Compassion. Understanding. Having. A. Heart."

" .... Something we can use against said being?"



She ventured. Certainly those were important, but still.

Vynz didn't say anything for a minute, trying to think. He had never tried to search out her faults so long ago. Now it was difficult to remember.



"She is blind in her left eye." Yeah, that's all he had.

Suri smiled slightly, shaking her head, letting it go as she returned to looking out the window.... she needed book or net access sooner or later...



" Wonder where locket is taking us to, exactly."

Vynz shrugged.



"I don't know." That's all he had.

suri made a face and sighed, staring at the man driving.



" What do you know?"

Vynz actually frowned.



"Hey. Play nice." His startling blue eyes shifted to her for a moment before flicking back to the road.



"What do you want to know if I know?"

" Anything."



she replied cutely.

"Ouch. That one hurts. Hurts me real bad. Right here." Vynz tapped his chest.

" Oh, come on... Really though.... what do we know about this issue aside your life is endangered?"
