Getting into the car, she remained silent, letting her stomach growl, blinking, fading in an out.

Lot eyed her as her stomach was loud enough for Ilford back home to hear. The man sighed, pulling out the bottles and tossing them into her lap. He tapped on the glass twice short and once long. A minute or two later he was tossing a McDonald's bag into her lap too. Some things are universal.

Confused, as she barely remembered the last few days in the hospital, knowing she'd not said anything of issue, but that being it, she wasn't sure why he was cross with her... if it was the money... It's not like she chose to get hurt....

Looking to the bag, she merely opened it and silently started to eat, taking her medicine.

Lot wrinkled his nose, and for a while it looked like he really might puke. He just kept reminding himself that it wouldn't be that long until he was out of the car and into his home.

Once done, Victoria finally worked up the voice to talk as the driver dropped them off, not saying a thing as she didn't think about the fact she couldn't walk but maybe for a minute or two.

" what's wrong?"

She asked, took out of it to realize direct to the problem never worked.

Lot just shook his head in an aggressive manner.

"Nothing. Are you going to die between here and there?"

" .... I'm not that frail... I just am out of it. They have me on weird stuff I'm not use to."

she replied softly, looking down as she stood on slightly wobbely legs.

Lot apparently wasn't feeling so considerate now. The man just took her for what she said and not what she looked like.

"Really now? I thought it was part of your every day regimen." And he began to walk.

taking a few steps she stumbled and fell, wincing as she scuffed herself up a bit, wiping away tears once more. not from the physical pain, but the emotional strikes he was onstantly throwing at her at the moment. what had she done?

Looking up at her master, tear streaked face, wanting to stay there and die.

Lot stopped again, the muscles across his shoulders as tight as they could possibly be. He took several deep breaths and dug his fingernails into the bark of the tree.

"Stop crying." His voice was rough to say the least.

Victoria tried, and failed as she shook slightly from the effort being escorted, still very weak as she remained on the ground, not bothering to stand up again, as she knew her legs couldn't handle it this time.

Lot swirled around. His face was contorted in a way that seemed animalistic and furious as he reached towards her tiny throat with his huge hand.

"Stop. Crying."

Victoria looked up and crawled back, scared, eeping and crying a bit more, heart racing. It was like he was intentionally tormenting her. she didn't understand.... Why was she being forced to go through this?

Shaking where she sat, she weeped, simply wishing he'd kill her and let her be at ease...

Lot very well might have right then and there. That is, if it weren't for a sudden blur that blew him over entirely. It was accompanied by a squeal, the sound that sounded peculiarly like It. Lot knocked against a tree, but It wasn't anywhere to be seen.

Victoria simply curled into the fetal position on the ground, sobbing her eyes out. Heart aching, and body worn completely out, she didn't even notice as he moved from her, or the noise, or anything else, for that matter.

Lot sucked back the breath knocked out of him in rapid bursts. The man scrambled to his feet and then began to walk home. But then a thought hit him. He picked up Elizabeth like a sack of potatoes.

victoria didn't have the energy to move as she was hoisted up, tears continuing to fall, wanting free of his grip, longing to run away, and right off the first cliff she found.

And Lot carried her home, all but throwing her into her bed. What came next? Well, Lot did what he always did. He left. Way to go, Jerk.

Sobbing, Victoria neglected to tkae her meds, remaining in her bed, refusing food and water, slipping further into depression, sobbing herself into sleep at night, even when she hit the point of dry tears, even when it three days.

It was about that time that the scraping got closer (and Lot got farther). The gentle skittering liked to hang around her doorpost. Apparently, It liked her. Whether that was a good thing...

Victoria simply didn't care anymore. the only thing she did now was sketch. Pictures of death, suicide and clear morbid thoughts, she clearly didn't care how she died at this point as she considered the window, wondering if she could make it over to fall out of it.

She'd even noticed It hanging around, and honestly, she welcomed the threat it presented.

Lot came around finally. It (who seemed to be daringly present but forever just out of sight) scurried off. Lot yawned casually.

"Feeling any better?" On the bright side, he looked healthy again.

Victoria looked up at him, sunken eyes, skin stretched a bit thin, and overly pale, lips dried and cracked, victoria said nothing as she looked as if she would cry, carefully slipping the notebook under her pillow, wondering why he was here now, seeming to suddenly want her again. she couldn't handle him any longer.

Lot walked around her room, looking over the things. He stopped at her pill bottles.

"Have you finished your antibiotics?" He reached out and rattled the bottle, frowning as it felt full. He tried the next. And the next...

"Elizabeth..."

Looking to her master, she curled up slowly, waiting for the yelling, or the blows, or even him simply storming out. it always happened. She felt that lump in her chest, the one where she had to re-realize that he didn't care about her beyond property.

" I don't want to get better. I wanna die."

She said softly, voice broken, heart aching, and it was visible that this was the problem, for once as she looked him over in a way she'd never allowed herself before.

Lot just stared at her for a long moment, and then, slowly, he put the bottle down. He judged her expression and let out a long sigh.

"I wouldn't doubt it."

" I understand... So please just let me."

she begged softly, eyes watering, but that was all the fluids she had, blinking as if tears would fall, breathing changing.... If she was hydrated enough, she'd be crying right now.

Lot looked at her long and hard. And then he let out a sigh.

"If that's what you really want. I mean, I've lived in this place by myself for a very long time before. I guess I could do it again." He leaned forward and kissed her forehead. His intention was to leave.

" You wanted me for a house pet. i can't handle it. ... It hurts. worse then anything I'm dealing with right now. A hurt those pills don't fix."

" You own me. In Every. Single. Way."

She tried to explain, looking like a very little breakable piece of glass.

" I care in ways I don't know how to explain, whether I mentally want to, or not... i do emotionally.... I'm sorry, master."

She explained.

Because your already killing me.

She said softly, tears somehow falling, even though you could put your finger in her mouth and it would come back dry.

"Do whatever makes you happy." And then he really did leave.

Victoria watched him leave, and curled back up on her bed, tears continuing to pour everywhere. kicking the bottles off her bed, wishing she could see her family right now, longing for someone... anyone right now to care about her. She'd even take that nurse from the hospital right now. ... to die alone was very miserable.

Lot's howl resonated through the entire house, almost shaking the base timbers. It was not a shout of anger and certainly not of terror; it was a howl of pain. The man had been trying to deal with it when he was suddenly forced to face several things. The time alone in his house had made him almost lazy. The loneliness had made him exist even outside of himself in a slow and steady way. And, of course, Lot was forced to realize why it was he had been looking for a girl anyhow.

He had been chasing It and had turned to catch an armoire as it threatened to tip over on top of him. Lot had been knocked to the ground and suddenly found that the last thing he wanted to do was stand up. A shower of glass, a broken mirror, coated the area around him as he stayed in a half-laying, half-sitting position. And his hands were shaking violently as he stared down at a piece of the splintered wooden frame that pierced all the way through his abdomen.

Hearing the noise, very confused, tears pouring everywhere still, she stumbled and fell all the way to where her master lay, lookign like she'd blow away, but rushing to his side anyway, not caring to the cuts she earned as she knelt beside him, looking him over with clear compassion and concern.

" I don't know where you keep the major first aid supplies."

She said softly, looking up at him, tears still present.

Lot's eyes slowly dragged to hers as though even moving those muscles hurt. The man's teeth were gritted tight as he gripped the wood - needless to say right now speech was evading him. Blood was doing a lovely job of staining his clothes and his hands. And NO ONE wanted to know the curses going through his head.
