Darryn sighed internally.

Spoil sport. And then he heard a click. He looked down and saw a bundled figure.

"Watch where you're pointing that thing!" The girl (maybe?) lowered the gun just slightly.

"What are you doing?"

You jinxed this.

This always happens to me... Darryn looked down at her, though the gun was still pointed in his general direction.

"Trying not to get eaten by whatever's out here." The woman's gun snapped more directly towards Darryn's head.

"How do I know it isn't you? People are pretty nasty creatures too." Darryn held his hands up, 'falling' out of the tree in the process.

"ARRGG!" And he landed on her.

Intentional. She is wearing several different people's clothes. And thus their scents were mixed. Darryn was obviously trying to figure out what he was dealing with. And it's cold. And she's warm. The woman pressed the cold barrel against his temple.

"Okay, get off or I'll blow out your brains." Darryn stood up.

"It's not like I did on purpose." For a fleeting moment, he thought about killing the woman right there without any more questions. But then he had to be gracious for his host's invisible rules, whatever they were.

I'd not stop you, but people this deep into the blizzard is a bit bizarre.

Ashleigh responded simply as she was now leaning against a tree, watching the scene intently. Like it or not, she would if it got too dicey. She hadn't mended him merely to watch him ruined again.

Thus the reason I am tempted to squelch the problem as it stands.

Darryn looked as the woman got up, snow clinging to her overcoat. Somehow, she managed to do it without shifting the gun one iota and without shooting him. Darryn couldn't decide if this was a good thing or a bad one.

"Really now... as if there isn't enough danger out here. Do you really feel the need to hold me at gunpoint?" The woman nodded slowly.

"You seem suspicious to me. You're out in the middle of nowhere." Darryn lowered his arms, crossing them.

"So are you." The woman seemed to hesitate and then she shook her head, waving her gun menacingly.

"But I have a reason. You don't even look like you should be out here. It's cold. You're not even wearing a coat." Darryn looked down with a look of surprise.

"Oh? Fancy that. I gues...." He trailed off as the gun clicked, just a trigger pull away from firing.

"Don't be smart with me."

And I thought the wolves were a pain in the butt.

I'm about ready to smack her and rape her before I kill her, just to prove a point.

Ashleigh replied simply as she stared at the creature, how she planned on raping another woman, well... you probably would not like to contemplate that one too hard.

And she thinks I'm dangerous. Darryn sighed, lifting his hands to show that he wasn't up to anything.

"Okay, fine. I would like to say it was a pleasure to meet you, but being nearly shot is not really a pleasure. So I'm just going to turn around and walk away. Goodbye." And as he turned. BAM! The man fell over, just having had his leg shaved by a bullet.

That's it. I get to rape her too.

Without much effort the woman was not only disarmed but standing, in the freezing, subzero temperatures in nothing but her birthday suit, and Ashleigh standing right infront of her.

" That was uncalled for."

Darryn was frowning deeply as he stood up and turned around, his leg bleeding lightly.

You said it first. I'll let you get her warmed up.

The woman was staring wide eyed.

"Damn. Take it easy. I was just making sure." That made little to no sense. Darryn looked at her.

You have to be kidding me.

Looking her over, Ashleigh smiled, chuckling under her breath as her features changed the rest of the wat, eyes glowing nicely as she merely shoved the womaned against the nearest tree with ease.

" We were taking it easy. Not anymore."

She purred softly, the nearest log now violating her.

Darryn's eyes lit up as he stalked a bit closer.

Splinters. That's all I'm thinking. Splinters.

The woman couldn't say anything as her eyes darted back and forth between the two. And then she screamed. One could see a little shiver pass over Darryn.

"There it is."

She coached with a little wicked grin on her face as she was being a tad bit on the ruthless side, not too worried about the woman... after all, worse had been done to them before... she hadn't killed her... yet.

Shifting a bit, she looked to Darryn as she moved back enough for him to take over, in whatever manner he wished, not bothered by either choice open to him, grin clear on her face.

More, sometimes, the people up here spook easily, and I don't like company...

Darryn took his turn, and the woman looked about ready to pass out. Too much adrenaline and fear tended to do that to a person, though. The man flicked her right between the eyes.

Darryn walked back to stand beside her, watching the woman just lay in the snow.

Whatever you like. But we better decide soon. It's going to die of the cold before too long. Darryn was rather satisfied with life. Revenge was sweet.

Darryn walked up, towering over the woman who's lips were turning a very interesting color. She was shaking - a complete wreck. Wonder why.

"Ah, it's like you read my mind." The man reached down and grabbed her by the wrist. He wasn't about to pick her up. She would probably try to bite him or something. Nope, as long at Ashleigh didn't say anything, he had the full intention of dragging her all the way back.

Ashleigh replied with a wicked little smile, turning to lead the way back to her castle, tossing the coat to darryn to place on the woman to keep her from dying from hypothermea.

Darryn caught the coat and glanced back at the girl. He for a second tried to get her to stand, but the girl just crumpled. The man frowned, and then knelt, wrapping her in the coat. The girl tried to scratch him.

"Really now. How did that work for you?" He grabbed both her wrists and dragged her that way now.

Darryn stood there and watched the woman disappear into the tunnel. He stood there waiting until she was clear. The woman began to speak.

"P....please, just let me go. I... I won't t...tell anyone. Promise. I like you. I know you're a g...good guy. You w...want to let me go. Please." Darryn looked down at her and then flashed a smile.

"You're right. I don't know what came over me." He picked her up and dusted the snow off her as her face lit up. And then he paused.

"Oh yeah, you shot me." And he dropped her down the hole.

Darryn climbed down after the crash, smiling at Ashleigh.

More than I have had in a long time. Better still - I share. He stepped right over top of the woman who was now laying as a moaning heap on the ground. The man took a moment to glance at his leg. Chalk up another ruined article of clothing. This was quite a track record in that department.

"Anything that pleases you, Mistress." The act itself was a joke. The offer of the little... pet was not. Said item was almost to the point of a coronary. She had no idea what was happening.

And down the stairs the woman tumbled. They were laid a way as there was no chance of the woman breaking her neck, so long as she didn't slam into the wall... and in the instance of that happening, Ashleigh would cheat a bit, fix her up, and torture her once more.... or get a new toy... that worked too....

Ashleigh's idea worked very well. The woman didn't break her neck. She broke her wrist... and cracked a rib... and cut open her forehead. Combined with the bumps and bruises, it wasn't that bad for falling down all million flights of those stone steps.

Darryn, meanwhile, had a much more enjoyable descent. The man hopped on the banister and slid all the way to the base floor. A lot easier down than up. (But wasn't that true of everything? Except maybe weight...)

Merely appearing as the woman rolled off the last step, she pulled her to her feet and watched the legs support the weight, and smirked as she looked to Darryn, expecting him to take charge once more of the rogue woman.

Darryn hopped off the railing, landing smoothly. He walked up to the sobbing and shaking girl.

"Poor thing." The woman glared through swollen eye, and tried to take a swing with her good arm. "Now, now. I'm forgiving, but do that to her and you won't have an arm at all. Behave." He opened the door for the both of them in a sickeningly gracious way.

I suddenly want to put her in one of your suits of armor just to see what she does.

The girl obviously didn't want to do anything that either of them decided was a good idea. Darryn reached out, grabbing her hand.

"Here, let me help you." And he jerked. Set the bone. Got her through the door. Ashleigh's turn.

The girl was shaking horribly and sobbing at an earsplitting level. Darryn just wrinkled his nose as he considered it.

"I don't know... They tend to get a little monotone and boring after a while. I vote we kill it." She moaned pathetically.
