Let's Play!

Naomi glanced down to the note book, eyebrows knitting together.



" I'm not ready for that."



She stated gently. She felt badly for saying such a thing, but what point was beating about the bush?



" But you were upset when you came in, what is it?"

Hunter nodded and then backed off. He wouldn't push.



"Oh. I wasn't upset. I was just... discontented."



He moved to go put the grocery bag down.

Naomi nodded, following him.



" why?"



She pressed gently.

Hunter shrugged.



"I don't like the state of things. I have to declare myself soon..."

Naomi nodded.



" So no cereal until we get there, huh?"



she asked, seeming slightly saddened.

Hunter glanced at her as he began to unpack the bag.



"What? Why not?"

" well, if we're leaving soon, then buying milk would nto have made sense."



She replied simply, moving to him, kissing at him softly.

Hunter smiled slowly as he pulled out a full gallon of milk.



"Thimbleton likes milk."

Naomi looked like she might lay Hunter in the kitchen, moving and kissing over him.



" Your the best, most wonderful..."



She purred softly.

Hunter kissed her easily.



"Oh, I try, I try."



He laughed lightly.

" I just want one bowl... he can have the rest if he wants."





she purred, kissing Hunter again.



" Your perfect."



She purred gently. Some girls want diamonds. She was happy with a bowl of cereal.

Hunter just shook his head.



"You're fine. He doesn't have a massive appetite. Eat away."

She had eaten earlier, but she'd been wanting this for over a week. This would be why she sat down and ate two bowls without guilt.

Hunter pulled out a small package of paper and some meat from that. He whistled softly, moving into the living room as she fed. He knelt on the floor, letting Fang have this. He scratched the animal behind the ears.

Once Fang as fed, she moved to Hunter, lightly touching the middle of his back.



" will he come with?"



She asked curiously.

"Who?"



Hunter glanced up at Naomi. Who did she mean exactly?

" It wouldn't be fair to take him, but I worry about leaving him alone..."



She purred gently, scratching Fang's ears, kissing the top of his head, allowing to him finish his meal, glancing to Hunter.

Hunter smiled to himself.



"He's a wolf, not a dog. He tends to make his own decisions."



Fang licked at Naomi's face now.



"Like I said, he considers you his female. He very well might come."

Naomi smiled and nuzzled the wolf, petting and scratching at him.



" His female.... Well, he hasn't tried to hump me, so I suppose I'm alright with it."



she purred, loving on the creature a moment longer before moving to Hunter, kissing him.



" I just don't want him hurt."



She replied simply.

Hunter shrugged either way. He considered the animal and then Naomi.



"It's his life. I'm not going to press him either way. He can stay or leave as he wants, you know?"

Naomi smiled, moving to push Hunter to the floor now, straddling him.



" well your stuck with me until you get rid of me... and then I'm not even certain I'll go away."



She purred, grinning down at him.

Hunter let his hands graze along her thighs. He gave her a wicked smile.



"Well, right now, I want you."

" Really? Prove it."



she taunted, moving to get up from him now.

Naomi was allowed to do no such thing. It was a challenge. The man grabbed her a little roughly. He would do just that, right there.

Naomi pushed at Hunter, wiggling and fighting against him. Well, it was interesting as such an act was taken on the floor. they even knocked Fang over in the process.



either way, she kissed him afterwords.

After being knocked over, Fang growled, bit Hunter and then went off. Hunter didn't so much as flinch. He smiled at the woman.



"You're right. You are pretty good."

" Yeah, Yeah. Your just jealous your not as good as I."



she purred, smiling brightly.

"Well, obviously I am good enough."



Hunter laughed lightly, teasingly nipping at her skin.

"Eh, I have a thing for old men."



she teased, eyes roaming over him hungrily now as she moved to make him kiss her more. Oh, this was more normal. she liked a bit more normality.

Hunter kissed her without qualms.



"One day I'll tell you exactly how old."

Naomi shrugged now.



" I honestly don't care if your 20, or 2,000. Your mine. That's all I worry over."



More accurately, he wanted her.

Hunter laughed. He liked that about her. The upfront nature that might seem brash to others... he liked that - it amused him.



"That's good 'cause I'm neither, and you are still mine."



He poked at her playfully. For now, he was grasping on to the reprieve she offered. The sourness about the whole thing, the all-too-uncomfortable feeling about him... he didn't have to think about the world falling apart right now. He liked that too.

Naomi smiled bright up at him now. She seemed to almost shine with a uncanny shimmer. Almost. He was rewarded with kisses for his statement though, and caressing, and touching, teasing, and the hint of pleasing.



" I like that."

Hunter looked at her and gave a vague smile, kissing her once or two more.



"Good. That's how it is."



Did you think that you were in his house by accident?

Noami was content a while longer before she decided on gnihtemos she'd been debating on for a while. So, without further a due she disappeared into her room. Door shut and locked, making all sorts of noises... it wasn't really to lock him out so much as to make a point she wanted to be left alone while she worked.

Hunter was duly amused. However, he let her be. The man had his own demons to tend. However, the longer he worked, the more his reprieve slipped away. Hunter wasn't generally a discontented fellow, but right now... Well, could you blame him?

Naomi wondered out of her room two, maybe three hours later, and glanced about the house. Her answer? She stuck the box under her bed with Thimbleton's name on it. He'd find it... eventually, right? Inside were two perfectly newly sewn outfits for him. She'd decided he needed more clothing... not that she doubted he had other outfits... but still....

Fang was actually standing right outside her door. He growled when she walked out, hunching down. Geez... What was eating him?



Hunter was elsewhere. Temporarily outside, actually.

Naomi smiled at Fang, not bothered by the growl. She always had a book close by, she really would hit him again if needed.



Either way though, she settled onto the couch, channel surfing.

Fang jumped up onto the couch, standing on her legs. He grabbed remote and leapt off with it. What on earth was he doing?



There was a faint click as the door shut, all that was left was a wind through the house. Hunter.
