Looking about the room, she took in the details, noting that everything in this room was very... Dated. Don't get her wrong, she loved things from this era, however, it was clearly authentic... Interesting.

Letting her hands run over the victorian couch and matching chairs, she smiled, coughing from the dust a bit.

Lot gently opened the door (unclicking the lock in the proper way) to the other side of the room. He sighed and leaned against the doorframe, watching her with close scrutiny.

"You're like a gnat. You get into everything."

" I'm a Girl.... Something I thought you were enjoying about me."

Victoria pointed out, smiling softly, looking up at him.

Lot rolled his eyes, that being the only moment that he took them away from her.

"I said you were like a gnat. I didn't say you were one." He left the other part of her statement like an orphaned child.

" Well, get over it."

Victoria informed him simply, wondering to stand infront of him, smiling at him cutely as she moved to kiss him, not sure why she did as she looked to her master.

" So, now what do you want of me?"

Lot just stepped backwards, leaving her in the cold now.

"You not to disturb my furniture anymore. It does not suit you."

Victoria looked at her master, taken back, goign from being open and honest with him, emotions switching back to lock down as her ' alright, master' was alot more solid, flat, even distant as she moved back from him.

Lot breezed past her and into the room. Then, with a much gentler hand than he normally used, the man brushed the dust off of the furniture, walking over and picking up a hand mirror and polishing it almost lovingly. He didn't seem bothered by her mood change.

Victoria looked back at her master for a moment, and just let herself lock back up the rest of the way, and wondered right out of the house, front door and all. He didn't need her around. He could find a new girl to manipulate and sleep with. Another that would be much happier to be at his beck and call.

Victoria was done with it, and with that, she wondered off the property, and was already wondering through the forest as she could see the sun starting to rise.

There was a scurrying in the forest, the sound of an animal perhaps working its way through the underbrush. But that was strange here. In the profound silence, to have a single animal break free. The rustling followed her as the sky began to lighten. And then a panting. And a growl as suddenly a wolf jumped out of the bushes.

Victoria managed to duck the jump and screamed as she moved to climb up the nearest tree, barely making it up fast enough to escape the animal attacking her, climbing towards the top.

The animal gave a sort of howl as it leaped and scrabbled. The animal managed to climb onto a fallen tree and was making a jump towards the girl. It was crazed, foaming at the mouth. It's arcing path suddenly changed as the animal was knocked to the side. Lot.

Looking to her master bellow, Victoria was too taken back by the fact he was there to think about how high she was, wall of emotions starting to melt away once more, simply glad to see the animal being taken care of as she shimmied lower ( for the first time in her life beign able to handle heights).

There were quite a few feral growls coming from the wrestling mass. (There was a pretty good chance that they weren't all coming from the wolf.) Suddenly there was a crack, and Lot was holding the dead creature by the scruff of the neck.

Victoria looked to her master, tears rolling down her cheeks, scared as she looked to her master, shaking from head to toe with a fear she hadn't known in a while, wanting to leap into his arms, but by the same token, wanting to hide. She didn't want that same aggression used on her.

Lot tossed the animal to the side, glaring at it with scorn. There was a wonderful little tear in his shirt. (It was becoming apparent why he didn't go out a lot if he went through shirts at this rate.) The man's voice was coarse as he spoke.

"Are you hurt?"

" No."

she said softly, looking him over, now moving to him, checking him over, out of clear concern.

Lot was completely rigid as he watched her move around.

"Now you see why I don't favor the forest." He fully expected her to crumble right about now. Trembling did that to a person.

" Yes, master."

She said, now nestling to his chest, shaking more as she started to cry, fear becoming clear as she clung to him, concern for him still apparent as she looked over him.

Lot looked down at her with a sort of frustration as he wrapped an arm around her, more out of concern of her standing up than for her comfort. He placed his other hand over the scratch on his stomach, hiding the tear in his shirt. It was what he hoped to be a casual movement. His voice was still coarse, though perhaps a tiny bit softer.

"You're fine."

Looking up at her master, she kissed at him softly, crying and grateful, and scared, all mixed into one as she held to him, holding tight.

" master, ... are you okay?"

Lot stood there, still as the sun came up and cast its light across his skin.

"Of course. I live here."

Victoria nodded slowly, nuzzling him lightly, holding tighter to him, shaking slowing to a stop as she held her master.

It was kind of strange. The only other sound now besides their breathing was the faint hum of flies as they began to gather. Lot looked down at her.

"Time to go back."

Nodding slowly, she moved to kiss his cheek, otherwise holding firmly to him as she walked with him. It was starting to become apparent that being his property at least meant he wanted to be the only thing that tore her up... That was reassuring... she thought.

Still holding tight to him once they were back to the house, she was uncertain as to what to do now. he actually didn't seem cross with her, and that was currently making her more willing to do as she was told... However.... She was starting to become rebellious with being put down ( as was becoming apparent as she did just wonder off without warning. Something about being attached to someone you shouldn't be.)

Lot did notice her grip, and his mouth twitched as he almost smiled.

"Which one of us are you expecting to fall apart?"

" I dunno, master."

She replied honestly, holding tighter to him, rather meek at the moment, perfectly content to being close and safe. Sure, he could kill her, but for some reason, she didn't see him doing that while he'd just got himself hurt in order to save her.

Lot just sighed, not removing his hand.

"I would appreciate being let gARHGHGHG!" The man fell over. Ilford. Great.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU STUPID SNAKE?!" The snake looked up from where he had wrapped himself around Lot's ankles. (Now he let go.)

Moving, victoria moved and pried Ilford off her master ( One point for Victoria?) and looked to her master with concern, looking over him, near fretting as she took him in all over, discovering he was just as he had been, looking to Ilford, glare on her face as she moved closer to her master.

As Ilford slunk off in a dejected manner, Lot stood up and dusted off himself. All the while he remained turned slightly away from her. The man just shook his head and began to go towards his room, ignoring her fretting. He intended to sleep, and sleep long.

As she moved back and let her master go, she covered a small yawn her own self as she moved to snatch Ilford up and wonder to her room to get some sleep.... however, she never made it to her room and fell asleep on the couch on the second floor.

The first thing that Lot did was take of his shirt and toss it to the side before entering the bathroom. It is probably interesting at this point to note that Lot kept a little mini fridge in his bathroom. Inside was an array of little tubes and bottles that apparently needed to be refrigerated. On the bottom shelf was a smallish box that, when opened, would reveal about fifteen little vials of blood, something that he kept on hand - just in case.

Lot rummaged through the various bottles before pulling out a few and taking out doses in syringes before placing the syringes on the sink counter and the bottles in the fridge. With a sigh, he prodded at his little wound and washed it free of dirt and other contaminants. Then came the fun part. A series of five shots from huge needles.

"Idiotic rabid animal..." Lot placed a bandage over it, obviously far from pleased as he lay down on the bed to sleep.

~~

Lot was the first one up the next day. He was one his way to check on part of the house when he spotted a door to be cracked open, not shut. The man slipped inside to find Elizabeth. He sighed, contemplating whether she would wake up if he picked her up and moved her.

Elizabeth was still dirt covered and sound asleep as she only started to stir when her delicate ears picked up someone walking close, looking up at her master through sleep filled eyes.

" Huh?"

She asked softly, slowly realizing who it was, moving slowly to him ( Which took like five minutes, as she woke up the rest of the way first), and looked him over, not touching him, or kissing him, though it was clear she wanted to.

" are you alright, master?"

Lot had simply watched her through the entire process. It was kind of like prodding a baby bird into waking up for the morning song. As she stood up, the man stared down with an indifferent gaze. When she asked how he was, however, he unconsciously tugged on the hem of his shirt, pulling down on it. He still had the bandage over his small stomach wound - it wasn't like in the movies. He healed faster, and it took more to kill him, but the fixing wasn't anywhere near instantaneous. Right now the cut was draining.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

((Note 37b on the comparison chart: Lot heals slower than Eph :P ))

" I'm... just concerned, master."

Victoria replied softly, looking him over carefully still, emotions visible only in her eyes as she considered him.

Lot's eyes rested on her steadily as he shook his head. The man leaned down and gave her a kiss, his lips brushing across hers as he spoke. But it wasn't filled with passion or even hunger. It was just a motion.

"Don't be."

Victoria considered him a moment more and nodded slowly, looking him over as she tried to let it go, looking off into the never ending halls, sighing inwardly as she simply walked away from him. An animal in a cage with something that she couldn't have the way she wanted. This was starting to become a repeating story book, it had the same thing, over and over.... It's like he's a broken record living on auto pilot.

Lot watched her go with a sigh, making his own way through the mansion. As he adjusted the little details and things, he had to wonder why he had done this to begin with. Was he really so much better off with company in the house? Some things are hard to let go of. Some things are even harder to grasp. In this sort of thought, Lot made his way to the third floor and then down again to the first floor to a passage that could be reached no other way. He flicked on a light switch to the dark and lonely hallway, one of the lightbulbs flickering and going out. The man stuck the key in the door, giving it a little jiggle so the unused lock would slid open.

Lot slipped inside, hovering near the doorway as his eyes drifted over the huge room. It was made with marble floors, and apparently must have been built on to the side of the house. There were no windows, but moonlight drifted down through skylights above. It was dustier than any of the other places. There was a curtain drawn at the far end and a sheet-covered mass at the right side of the room. Other than that there was nothing at all. Nothing except the marble floor.
