Monica glanced at her sister, rolling her eyes.
" honestly. "
She stated exasperatedly, not taking the time to deal with such a comment, jabbing her sister in the arm.

Adelle rubbed her arm.
"Hey, I bruise like a peach! You know that!" But she walked out anyhow. Time to find the others?

" It's alright, a bruise will make you manly!"
Monica teased, soon pouncing upon Kalan, kissing him.

Adelle scrunched up her nose, but did not respond. You didn't need bruises for you to be able to wear the pants... The woman looked Bridgette.
"Why'd you come to Bermuda?"
Kalan dropped the rest of his apple. Well, oh well. He liked this taste better anyhow.

" My parents went here three years ago."
she stated simply, looking over Adelle.
Monica was currently occupied by Kalan.

Adelle narrowed her eyes.
"Did they come back?" Well, no one ever said she was subtle.
This was going to be brief round for Kalan. He was tired. And hungry.

" No, That is why I am here."
She glanced about, shrugging.
"They are none of these peoples here."

Adelle stared at the woman for a minute, debating what to do with that information. She didn't want to seem insensitive, but well... in a lot cases she just didn't care.
"So you're looking for specific faces." Adelle glanced up as a fly flew by.

" I was trying to find out why here... When my uncle died here three years ago in a human torture camp..."
Bridgette offered honestly, shrugging slightly.
" My mother would be easy to find.... My father not as likely."
she offered absently, looking about.

Adelle glanced around. Then, she ventured carefully.
"Do you expect them to be alive?"

" Mother, maybe."
Bridgette replied, looking over the humans sceptically.
" I do not know though."

Adelle shifted slightly, letting her back rest against the wall.
"Well, if you want to find them, I hope you have good luck." That was a fantastic well-wish, coming from the girl that didn't believe in luck.

" Mother will be easy to find, alive or dead. It is father that will be difficult."
She informed adelle once more, looking at Monica and Kalan, shaking her head. Humans had zero chance of survival here, anymore... but then again, their kind ( Adelle and Bridgette, as she is rather uncertain what kalan and Monica were) had even less chance then that these days... so... who knew?

"On the bright side, if we get eaten by cannibals, you won't have to worry about it."

" I do not believe we have to worry about cannibals.... they would not have let all these people go to waste."
did one really want to ask the foreign girl how she knew this?

Adelle glanced around.
"I dunno... They would have had to have a lot of freezer space for all this meat."

" They tend to eat it, if it's available... and there is no evidence of harvesting."
Why on earth was this woman okay with talking about these things like this?!?!

Adelle shrugged.
"Alright. I wasn't really being serious to begin with anyhow."

Bridgette shrugged, looking to Monica as she finally pried her lips from Kalan's, coming up for air, nuzzling the man.
" Let's find somewhere non dead body covered to sleep." (( <-monica speak))
Bridgette shrugged and nodded.
" There is a town close to here... or there was. who knows if it is there now."

Adelle stuck her arms behind her head.
"We could look, if you want. We don't really have any purpose. Just vacationing."
kalan smiled, standing up.
"Good idea."

" I was just offering that is close."
Bridgette replied, shrugging as she followed after Monica and Kalan that were now leaving in search of this mystery town.

Adelle followed along.
"Offer something to a no-lifer and they'll pounce on it." She was walking along when she spotted something. She sucked in a sharp breath, then darted off.
Maybe she should have believed in luck, because it was very lucky. The golf cart worked! The girl drove it along, passing the others and waving playfully.
Kalan watched her putter by, but said nothing.

Monica stared at the golf cart even as Bridgette had climbed upon it, and shook her head, glancing to Kalan.
" I think that's pathe-"
Now the woman stopped. No way!!
Sure, her sister and woman thing had a golf cart, but she just scored a dune buggy!
However, due to monica's level of luck, her vehicle sputtered and died right at the edge of the town, watching her sister steadily approaching her. dang it... well, she won for minute.

Adelle cackled as she and Bridgette passed by the others again.
"NO TIME FOR LOSERS!" She called out in a sing-song voice of We are the Champions.
Kalan hopped off the back, watching Adelle pass by again in a plume of dust. He glanced at Monica.
"...Do you want me to push?"

" This is a bit more practical then her's."
Monica replied simply, looking up at kalan, then to the nearest gas station... probably another mile. Not too bad.... but that was still a good distance to push... However the woman soon found out how easy it was to push and nodded, smiling as she passed her sister and bridgette, golf cart having died. smirking.
" What was that?"
Gotta love sisters.

Adelle wrinkled up her nose... and she literally jumped out of the car. She threw a glance at Bridgette and then began to sprint. She was determined to win - even if it meant she had to dash for a mile. Well, that would be a bummer, considering that she would burn out at half a mile.
Kalan said something about slow and steady winning the race.

Bridgette stared and shook her head. These people were a bit too much. However, she started to walk, somewhere between Adelle and monica, absently wondering which would make it there first.

Adelle got about halfway there, and then she just lay down across the middle of the street, her chest heaving.
"Okay. I give up!"
Kalan continued to push.

Monica smiled down at her sister, shaking her head even as Bridgette was now standing and waiting in silence, smirking between the two. However, what ever she was smiling about was kept to herself as she pulled her sister into the dune bggy and slipped out to help Kalan push.

Kalan glanced at Monica. Well, that was refreshing. He wasn't having to do all the work!
Adelle sat there, directing the steering wheel so that they didn't push the buggy into the ditch or a gopher hole or something.
"I see the gas station."

As they were pulling into the gas station, Monica sprung from behind the vehicle and was soon gassing the vehicle up ( having stolen the keys from her sister already... just incase). As the vehicle was finally full, Monica looked about, trying to determine if she was suppose to pay for the gas, and decided since everyone was dead, she'd let it lie.... after all, gas was one of the few things that was just pointless to steal.
Looking to the other three, she thought a moment.
" Which hotel looks least creepy?"
It was true, they were all overrun by by vines, tall grass, moss and even a tree in a few's case..... they all had that ' you'll die in here' feeling, and none of them looked to have been maintained in the last five years, let along the last month ( which was the case.).....
What was really bothering her? There was a sign on one that stated ' Occupants beware' in five different languages.

Adelle looked over the building for a long moment.
"You know, I gotta pick the one with the sign. I mean, at least you know what's coming there. The others you don't know what might try to jump on you when you sleep. That one's straightforward."

Monica made a small face.
" Not the pretty one with the view of the ocean?"
She was clearly being sarcastic as she looked over the way the entire place reminded her of a cursed ghost town.

Adelle rolled her eyes.
"Eh. Oceans are overrated. Now, if there was one with a mountainscape... Then you might have me sold." Either way, she was walking towards forbidding hotel.

Adelle chuckled. She paused before the door, turning to Kalan.
"Ladies first." The man rolled his eyes at the insult. He then proceeded to open the door and walk inside. He fell right through the floor.
"Ow." He looked up at the story above.

Monica looked at the hole that was right there on the other side of the door, wondering why on the face of the earth he wasn't watching where his feet were going, staring down at her boy toy.
" It's a long first step, no?"

Kalan coughed, his dust-covered head popping out of some broken crates.
"A doozy, at least." He coughed again before pulling himself out of the wreckage, eyes grazing his surroundings in a effort to find a way back up. This looked like an old storage room.

Monica sighed, looking him over curiously, dust covered and all, he pulled it off. shaking her head and forcing those thoughts out of her mind she jumped the whole at the entrance and now stood upon the other side, lookign down at kalan once more.
" Too small to fly out, not enough to climb on...."

Kalan just made a gesture. There were no words, but it said enough for him. I know, that's why I'm looking for another way up. He disappeared from sight without a word. It looked like there was a door over in the corner.
Adelle was edging around the hole, trying not to fall in.
