Mintra swallowed hard and buried her face into his shoulder, trying not to think about this. Her stomach churned uncomfortably, and this was not exactly the best move in her interest. To her, Eden smelled like sweat and dirt. Yuck. She yanked her head back, murmuring through tight lips.
"I think I'm going to be sick..."

Eden made a face as they soon landed in a cave entrance in one of the flouting mountains, Eden setting the woman down without much care as he moved about the cave and went to do something phenomenal. Make Lunch, again.

Mintra looked out over the ledge and just melted into a little pool on the floor.
"This is really high..."

Eden looked over, and rolled his eyes, and returned to his task at hand. lunch.
After about ten minutes, he was setting in the floor, eating a sandwich.

Mintra wormed away a little bit. She couldn't manage it. She puked.

Eden sighed as he watched her throw over the edge of the cave and down, down, down towards the ground bellow, not too worried about it as he continued to eat his simple little sandwich. This was a nice lunch.

Mintra glanced up at him, looking a little queasy.
"How do you get business up here?"

" I don't. That's why I live here."

" I do. If they need to contact me, they will do so, during business hours."
he replied simply.
" which is not lunch time."

Mintra started to shake her head but then she nodded slowly.
"You're a confusing little man, Eden." So says the smallish woman to the largish wrangler.

" Happily so."
Eden replied without a another thought, continuing to eat.

Mintra shook her head, looking down and poking at the two little holes in her arm that were still oozing a disgusting yellow puss.
"Ow..."

Eden sighed as he finished his food, finally looking serious once more, eyes turning to the girl, a small exasperated look on his face. This was ridiculous. She was nuisance. This was annoying.... maybe he should just... push ... her... shaking his head, he stopped walking towards the girl with the intent to make her plummet to her death.
" What to do with a thorn in your hand."
He grumbled, walking back deeper into the cave.

Mintra stood up and followed him.
"Pull it out?" Her eyes brushed across the rock that seemed to go on forever, threatening to swallow any trace of those that dared enter.

" You don't want to do that, or you'll bleed to death."
he replied simply, glancing back at the girl. Maybe not bleed to death, but definitely feel a small, itty, bitty, tiny, minuscule bit of guilt.

Mintra's eyes didn't move away from the rock, but she was still watching the man out of the corner of her eyes. Not that this really mattered. She was getting more input from his voice and words than from his body anyhow.
"This must be the bigger than any thorn I've ever seen."

"well, I'm rather certain you've seen it at some point."
Eden replied ever so simply.

Mintra just shrugged slightly, not sure how to respond to that. She walked along, watching as slowly they reached a part where the sunlight no longer reached.
"Where are you going?"

" To the other side of the island."
He replied, glancing back not sure what to do with her. ... There had to be something to do with her.

" Not much larger then a small lake."
Came the response as Eden stopped, to look down to the girl.
" Where are your parents, anyway?"

Mintra looked up at him, adjusting her face as though taken aback.
"I only have a father and he's up down in Brazil, I believe. Why?"

He replied logically.

"No, my father is nothing if not paranoid about safety. Hates strangers, even. He barely leaves his house."

He asked, rather surprised, and tempted to mail her back, all at the same time.

Eden replied casually, soon standing on the cliff, apparently on the other side of the island, looking down at the ocean like location bellow.

Mintra placed a hand to her forehead.
"Cut me some slack. How many dragon plantations are there in the world? I just had a little... bad luck."

Yep, that was Eden for you.

"So is that your swimming pool?" Of course she was using a little sarcasm../

" essentially."
Eden responded as he reached over and pushed the woman off, watching her fall towards the water bellow.

Mintra reacted as she always did. It was not instinct. It was logic. The woman didn't scream. As she plummeted, she flattened herself out so that she would stop her uncontrollable tumbling. Then, slowly, she drew her arms against her chest and her legs together until she was falling feet first and straight. Preservation. Jerk.

Eden smiled as he saw a faint flash of white, something that remarkable resembled pearls, and then mintra was scooped up by a little dragon, perhaps the size of two horses, at most. However, despite the size, it was clearly powerful as it soared with her upon it's back.

Mintra was jarred slightly. She glanced around, and couldn't make out more than Eden's vague dot up above. That meant he could only do the same for her. So she didn't squeal this time, why bother acting if it wouldn't be seen? She simply sat up and held on. Are you going to drop me?

The dragon didn't seem to grasp her worries as he soared about the sky with the woman now, under Eden's watchful care. Yes, the man cared if she got hurt. That was about it though. She really did need a babysitter or something.

"Can you do loops and everything?"

as if obliging, she was soon going loop to loop on dragon, eden merely disappearing to strap on real riding and taming gear as he was soon astride a pretty stunning, and much larger purple dragon, scooping mintra behind him and free of the other dragon, darting off.
