Monica smiled, looking over kalan.

" Problem solved, let's go."

with that she dragged kalan off to go start the leaving the plane process.

Bridgette watched after monica and kalan, looking to Adelle.

" Are they as ... challenging to deal with as their appearance would lead you to believe?"

Adelle now turned to face the girl. She waited a long moment, trying to figure out... Nope. Never mind. It was hopeless.

"Run that one by me again?"

"Combative?" She laughed some more.

"Kalan? He's a daisy!"

Bridgette just nodded, now straightening her clothes back to their previous perfection as Kalan and monica were soon sliding right out the plan.

"Why do you ask?" Adelle walked over to the slide, ready to take her turn.

Bridgette didn't answer this one, even as the pair were down the slide, now keeping quite as she stood beside the sisters ( not aware they were sisters), looking between the pair.

Monica smiled slightly and looked to kalan.

" Off we go to raid the airport then find somewhere nice to settle down and relax."

Adelle didn't really care enough to bother again. She grinned at her sister.

"This should be fun. Maybe Kalan can get his little beanie baby man-doll."

The man's face flattened and he just shook his head. You had to be joking. Either way, he set off towards the terminal.

Monica laughed and snatched Birdgette's hand ( as she was starting to fall behind) and was dragging the woman along now, who seemed a bit confused as to why Monica was in such a hurry.

Adelle was the first to burst into the airport. Had she been anyone else, it might have seemed like an eerie place to her. There were no voices, no busy feet or the beeping of triggered metal detectors. In fact, there was nothing but silence and space to absorb whatever sounds the quartet produced. Adelle went in search of something to eat. She was famished!

Kalan, meanwhile, was just walking slowly along. The strangeness of this place was not lost on him, and that feeling of having missed something was settling into his bones. The man didn't like it, but he didn't say anything either.

Monica broke free of Bridgette as she made it the the cafe area, nose wrinkling before even entering. The lights were dim, if not entirely out through most of the place. The smell of old, expired food was coating the air in the most unappealing way, but the most disturbing fact would be the half rotted bodies, the lack of flies and other insects... And the curdled milk on the counter.

Bridgette looked, in complete horror at the bodies, seeming to have no reason to be as they were, looking to have died mid-meal without rhyme or reason, there was everything from couples to babies here! Her stomach gave a few flops and she turned from the scene.

Adelle didn't like the thing with the bodies. It was a lmessy, and, well, disgusting, so she really wished that she didn't have to deal with it. However, in her book, there were worse things. With that pointed out, was it so unbelievable that she went behind the counter to procure some food that wasn't perished? She didn't find much, but she found some. It was mostly sealed, novelty food, but it was still food. She came back and offered some to the others.

Kalan didn't say anything for a while. The smell was offensive, but death itself had never really bothered him. Death was a part of life. However, he was not numb to the circumstances. He could understand the scandal, the atrocity behind some deaths. He seemed pensive about the whole thing before he finally spoke.

"I am reminded of Roanoke."

Monica glanced back to Kalan, wondering exactly what had brought this to mind, aside from the fact of dead bodies. Monica spared her sister only a glance as she had the food now, noting how Bridgette seemed to take the offered food without issue, Monica looking back up to Kalan.

"That colony that disappeared way back when?"

Adelle was working her way through a bag of crap without comment.

Kalan glanced up.

"Yes." But the glance was brief, and his eyes turned back to his surroundings.

"The only difference is that we know that these people died - that isn't even known about Roanoke."

" I'm completely certain some of them did. However, all of them I haven't the faintest. who's to say they were even human and that they didn't disappear on purpose?"

Monica ventured with a slight shrug, looking over Kalan and kissing him lightly.

" It's not something that is well to dwell upon."

Bridgette was staring at a potato chip in disbelief, not sure if she should eat a blue potato chip in a bag of lays plain chips.

Bridgette made the smallest of faces, loosing her appetite and placed the bag down, looking over Monica and kalan as monica had apparently decided she didn't like words and was now kissing Kalan, he eyes turning to adelle.

" I could get some more organic food if you would like."

Organic? ... weird terms foreign girlie.

Adelle crinkled her nose.

"But I so love eating things that immediately clog my arteries!" Okay, so she was just a snarky personality. She hesitated.

"What do you mean, 'organic'?" She eyed the nearest decaying corpse warily.

Now Bridgette seemed to struggle a bit and gave up, walking over to the nearest ( Surprisingly alive) indoor plant and placing her hands upon it. After a few moments the ground was shaking and the root system took animated life as if plunged through the vase and into the ground, the planet bending and turning, soon holding bridgette up in the air, in the branches of an apple tree.

" Organic."

Adelle looked up at Bridgette, a huge grin that hadn't been seen in a while worked across her face.

"Now that is a cool trick!" Well, that might have made her sound like a human, but that wasn't her intention.

Bridgette smiled and tossed a few apples down to Adelle.

" It is just DNA manipulation and some will power."

She stated simply, down playing the ability.

" I said food was not a problem "

Adelle caught them, looking them over. They were pretty, shiny and everything!

"No, seriously. That was awesome!" She crunched into one of the apples, enjoying the crisp flavor that fell across her palette.

"It's really good. Beautiful and talented."

If one ever doubted the fact that humans and reality benders both were composed of things such as blood, then looking at bridgette would have confirmed such a fact as she was currently a nice bright red, soon down upon the ground again.

" It is not that impressive."

Monica finally broke with kalan to see what was going on, eyebrows raising slightly.

" I would have to disagree...."

Where had the tree come from?!?

Adelle grinned, tossing an apple to her sister. She looked at Bridgette and shook her head.

"Fine, have your humility." Adelle chuckled and looked up at the tree before walking off. Maybe she would go and try to wash up in the bathroom.

Monica looked at the tree, then to kalan, and shook her head as her sister crunched away.

" .... where did the tree come from?"

she asked, following her ssiter.

Bridgette however was considering something a bit less... apple like now, setting upon the floor. working with a random apple.

Kalan was just standing at the bottom of the tree, looking up at the branches. He didn't say anything for a while, though he eventually spoke.

"I like apples."

Adelle glanced up as she washed her face.

"Bridgette." She reached up and pulled out some paper towels.

Bridgette looked to Kalan as she was now holding a loaf of bread, knife and was plugging in a toaster. Yep. That's bridgette for you.

" I am glad... Is there anything else you would like?"

Monica glanced to her sister slightly disbelieving.

" Really? out of that quiet thing?"

Adelle glanced up with a brow raised, dabbing her face dry.

"Because everyone expects you to be a siren." It was a fair enough point. Why would she make this stuff up, anyhow?
