Let's Play!

Alyson nodded in agreement, smiling.



" Boys are easier. are you going to to displeased if it's not?"



She would, but good luck getting her to admit it.

"Um..."



Cael hesitated.



"I feel like this is a trick question."

Alyson shook her head.



" No, I just wanted to know honestly how you would feel."

"I don't know..."



Cael looked down at her stomach.



"I'm still... wrapping my head around this. You know?"

Alyson nodded, biting her lower lip, kissing his forehead, kissing over his neck.



" I know. I'm getting use to the idea, too."

Cael put his hands on her stomach.



"Well, we've got a few months to adjust yet."

Alyson nodded, glancing towards Mason's room, then back to Cael.



" So... Do we need to get a special bed for our child, since it could phase through the crib or something?"



she was just worried about it getting hurt.

Cael looked at her before patting the mattress they were sitting on... which was just directly on the floor.



"If you want to, we could just get something criblike that can sit directly on the floor like my bed - it's not a far fall that way. However, do bear in mind that (at least, after I was born, I don't know about before) my phasing didn't begin to happen until I was twelve."



Until the accident.



"From my research, it's not uncommon for it to be dormant until puberty."

Alyson nodded slowly, cuddling him now, kissing him.



"I just don't want it hurt."

Cael then smiled at her. Cute.



"I don't either."

Alyson leaned down, kissing him.



" it can't like... shadow out of me or something, can it?"



She was kind of worried about things like that.

Cael smiled.



"It's not only connected to you by an umbilical cord like every other child, but it is also clinging to your shadow. Don't worry."

" Okay. I just didn't want to wake up to something like that. That would be.. disturbing."

"I can't blame you there."



Cael nodded.



"Shadowwalking isn't so bad. it's not all that scary."

Alyson smiled, nuzzling and kissing him.



" I know. It's kind of sexy."

"Nope, that's all me. I just make it look good," he joked.

alyson laughed softly, kissing him more now.



" You don't need things to be sexy, that is for sure. However, this doctor thing is still kind of a turn on."

Cael chuckled a little.



"I don't need to play games."

" Who's playing?"



She asked, kissing him hard enough to knock him backwards.

Cael turned her over.



"I'm not."



And he kissed her back eagerly.

Since she was already naked it was only a matter of freeing him from his clothing. Not a hard task for her and one she eagerly took to.

Then all baby talk went out the window and in came the baby making.

Yeah, no complaints from the mother to be, that was for certain as she smiled slightly and was tugging on his arm to get him to follow her out and into the kitchen. She wanted lunch, it was well past lunch time. Why wasn't mason up yet?

Oh, Mason was up. He just had already eaten. Couldn't you smell the burnt toast? The man was currently hanging out on the roof.

Alyson made Cael food and then went to find Mason... and then continued to search for him, no worries about indecency charges as she climbed up to him, jumping on him.



" hi."

Mason looked up from his gameboy, laughing.



"Hey you!"

Alyson smiled.



" You look better naked in a swimming pool then clothed on a roof. I don't like it up here, can we get down?"

Mason laughed again.



"Scared of heights?"

" ... roofs. I don't like roofs. I've fallen off of them too many times to be fond of them. Can we please move?"



She asked, pouting a tiny bit, kissing him for motivation.

Mason nodded, closing his gameboy and sticking it in his pocket. He moved to the edge of the roof, and his movements clearly proclaimed that he was completely at ease even here.



"Do you want a hand down?"

" That would be nice."



She agreed, nodding eagerly as she crawled over. Alyson at ease? Uh, no.

Mason nodded. The man slipped down so that he had one foot on his windowsill and one on a thick branch of the tree outside. He reached up, taking Alyson by the waist and lifting her down through the window.



"There you go."

Alyson smiled at him, pulling him in with her, kissing him again. before she pulled back.



" So, what you wanna do?"

"I want to... Go buy some pastries."



Mason grinned.

" ... I could make some if you go shopping for me?"

"...What do you want?"



He eyed her suspiciously.

" Little things. Flour, sugar, brown sugar, crystal sugar, cherries, apples... chocolate chips... dr pepper."

"is there a reason you are trying to avoid leaving hte house?"

" cause they won't let you grocery shop naked and I have never been so hot in my life. even an ounce of clothing is too much."



She confessed.

Mason laughed.



"I don't know about that. *I* would let you grocery shop naked."



Either way, he handed her a notepad.
