"Maybe I'll just go to the candy store then and you two can do the mopy-shove-on-clothes thing..."

Alyson bit her lower lip. Then her eyes fell. Great, she was feeling crumby enough and now she had upset him.

" I will try to be happy."

You two should both realize that being pregnant is a stripper's worst freaking nightmare, and despite the new job, that was what she still was in mindset. A stripper. This was like a kiss of death to her.

Alyson glanced to him.

" Alright..."

She said it such a pathetic tone... she really wasn't into this idea. it would be one thing if it was one article of clothing, but an entire wardrobe? Well, bad news, she couldn't but more then two or three outfits and shoes due to finances, so she was solo-ing it on finding staples she could mix and match. She wanted to scream as she was browsing the store with Mason. ( and Cael if he came with)

The man gave Cael a dirty look.

Mason's dirty look turned to a glare.

"That's not cool."

With a half-hurt frown and pulled his own wallet out of his pocket and a small little plastic case that belonged to him, then turning his pockets inside out... before leaving the store. There had been nothing in them.

and she pushed the dress into Cael's hands as she turned and darted after mason, catching him.

" It was a joke..."

she protested softly, looking sad.

back on the rack. No $300 dress for her. And on to the next dress that caught her attention and into the changing room.

Alyson wrinkled her nose and threw the dress down with disgust as she tried on the next one she had grabbed. She came out, looking rather doubtful.

The second was rejected without even bothering to try it on, however the other two she dared put on. The look she gave the pencil skirt. Then the pants and the blouse. She was currently looking at herself muttering things ranging from 'sell out' to ' frumpy' ect.

Alyson looked up, and fell silent. This was out of her element and she felt stupid, but now... now she stripped down, right there, reached over and pulled her shorts and tank top on, and left. Screw this. Support system crushed she wasn't even headed to the car. She had left off a side trail from the mall and off towards the direction of the house.

" He gets pissed over a harmless joke then he fucking pokes at legitimate issues."

She ranted gently, wiping her tears from her cheeks.

" I'm dealing with enough sh*t and I don't need his too."
