Victoria stood, slowly following her master to her room, noticing him frozen, then saw the reason, sighing softly to herself. She wasn't volunteering information if not asked.. and an artist painted whatever was right to them, not matter what, or who it was.. therefore, she was only feeling minor concern... at this second.

Lot dropped the snake. The man walked slowly over to the painting as though it were an ancient thing that might crumble if he were too obstructive. His honey-brown eyes never left the campus.

"Do I really look like this... to you?"

Victoria looked to her master, slowly moving closer to stand by her painting, nodding slowly.

" One of many ways you look, but this one is my favorite."

Victoria replied honestly, looking up to her master, wondering why he was acting as he was, finding she couldn;t look at him for fear of her blushing assaults once more, staring at the floor now.

The man felt that she was close to him, but he didn't respond to that. He stepped forward, reaching out and touching the edge of the painting.

"You are very good." Yup. That was a compliment. Straight up.

Victoria looked up at her master, blushing for another reason now, smiling slightly as she watched him look over her painting, wincing when he went to touch it, glad it wasn't still tacky.

" I'm...er, thank you."

Victoria stumbled out, feeling both awkward and special at the moment.

Lot suddenly spun around.

"What are the dimensions of this? Oil or acrylic?" He threw a cursory glance at the work now, making a judgment in his head.

" It's 12x16, and it's oil..."

Victoria replied, looking up at her master, not sure what he was doing, standing there, eyes locked on him now, not sure what he was doing or thinking.

Lot nodded slowly and thoughtfully.

"Very good." He walked over to the window for a minute, thinking. And then he seemed to have an epiphany and started back across the door.

"I need a shirt." And then he paused again. "Don't burn that or anything."

" Yes, you do need a shirt."

Victoria agreed a bit too easily, swallowing and flushing a bit more as she glanced to her painting, nodding and thinking he was crazy. she wanted to keep good work intact.

"Are you agreeing with me because you agree or because you feel like being a good little girl?" But he was too distracted. In all honesty, Lot didn't care. He ducked into a side room and came out wearing a generic white t-shirt that was a little to big for him and - well - it didn't even look like his style. He turned and spoke loudly so that his voice carried down the hall.

"Come on. I have a couple more questions."

" Agreeing, cause I no wanna stare at your chest any longer."

Victoria responded honestly once she caught up behind him, keeping on his heels as she looked his new attire over, wondering what else he had instore for asking her, mind working on figuring out what he was curious about and why.

Lot just rolled his eyes, for once letting it roll off his back.

"Stained wood...?" He tapped the surface of a desk as they passed.

"...or painted surface?" He ran his fingers along a little painted vase.

" Always stained wood, more natural."

She purred, smiling softly as she looked to the item in question, wondering where he was going. Considering the desk, thinking that a nice natural stain would bring out the beauty of the wood, maybe a white oak...

Lot kept on walking, down a staircase or two.

"Dark or light?" He gestured to the crown molding and then to the railing.

"Dark molding for high ceilings, light for lower ones, middle for the rails...."

she replied, following after him still, not following where this was going.

Lot huffed in slight frustration.

"Then which kind of ceilings do you like the best?"

" Ones that go over my head.....?"

Victoria offered, completely confused by this for a few moments, then processing the real question, wincing.

" Light, master."

Lot growled.

"Fine, fine." He continued.

"That's all the questions. Just... go... do something. Feed Ilford or something." The man gave a dismissive wave as he turned left down another staircase before reaching the front door.

Victoria watched him walk off, completely, and utterly confused, sulking slightly, not sure what that was about, wondering off to her room once more, pouting as she wondered where Ilford was.... Probably eating her gold fish...

Lot meanwhile entered a huge cement room. He shut the door and the sounds inside were muted if not stopped entirely at the walls as he rifled through some stacks of wood and began turning on various machines.

Ilford was coiled all the way around the handles of the fridge in an impossible manner.

Wondering into the kitchen, Victoria saw Ilford and chuckled and smiled, lookign over the snake in wonder.

" Are you hungry, by any chance?"

She asked softly.

Ilford hissed in a manner that seemed more friendly than threatening. He tilted his head to the side, starting to unwind slightly.

Meanwhile, Lot was guiding the wood with practiced through the machines. The wood smoothed and then roughened, exactly as it was supposed to. He pulled out some metal pieces and then began carving. It was surprising almost.

Victoria smiled and lifted up Ilford, letting him wrap about her as she looked about in the fridge.

" Now, what sounds good?"

Ilford drifted towards the top shelf, the the middle, then the bottom and then did the entire thing over again. It was said that snakes only eat like once a month, but Ilford seemed like he could eat everything all of the time.

Lot watched as saw dust flew all everywhere, coating his body and the area. But he was focused, sitting down and shaving out little bits of wood.

Smiling softly, she took his indecision as a mirror of her own and nodded as she simply chose something.

Humming to herself, she wondered around the kitchen working on making homemade... pizza...

Right after she turned it on, Ilford crawled into the oven. He actually seemed to be enjoying himself as it got warmer and warmed and warmer. It was as that one saying goes, though. Pot a frog in boiling water and it'll hop right out, but put a frog in regular water and slowly bring it to a boil... Did that apply to snakes?

" ILFORD!"

Victoria screeched, reaching in with pot holders and pulling him out of the oven, saving him from the ever rising baking temperatures, concerned... he was meant to be heated to 475, for 45 minutes...... She was worried.

With that said, she placed him on the counter and promptly chided him for doing what had just transpired.

Ilford just looked at her with pure innocence, cocking his head to the side as though he didn't realize what he problem was. The snake slithered across the counter and into the sink, turning on the water with his tail to the ideal drip.

Lot was still working away, either oblivious or uncaring. Or both.

" Don't do it again."

victoria reaffirmed as she returned to working on the dinner they were suppose to eat.

Ilford snaked over around the counter, careful to avoid the cutting knife. The huge snake then proceeded to coil around a new flour bag. And he squeezed. And squeezed. Suddenly, the bag exploded flour flying everywhere.

Glaring through her completely white sheet of new ' skin' she looked over the now fluff covered snake.

" really now? Ilford doesn't want anything to eat for the next week...?"

Ilford looked at her desperately, stretching out and then falling off the edge of the counter. It was pathetic as he writhed as though in pain amongst the whiteness of it all.

Lot was still downstairs. Yup.

" Don't do it again then, got it?"

She asked, shaking a bit of flour off of herself.

Ilford writhed a moment more before growing bored of it. The snake curled up, rising just a bit to stare through the little window on the front of the oven. That was where he intended to stay until the food was done, watching it cook.

wondering about to clean up, the place nearly sparkled when she was finished, checking the time and then going to go shower, a light trail of small white footprints following her wake.

In time that would be astonishing to even some well practiced craftsmen, Lot finished. He carried the four pieces of board with him as he ascended. The man paused for a moment at the white footprints, but only for a moment before following in their wake. He did turn differently, however. He walked past them and into Elizabeth's room, where he set the willow wood on the floor. The man began to work with the metal connectors to turn it into a frame. It was still unstained, but it was sanded and otherwise finished. it was fairly attractive too. The wood was cut with a rounded bevel and he had carve a simple design of curves and slashes into the edge. He just wanted to make sure the size was right first.

showered clean, Victoria headed back to the kitchen in her boy cut underwear and her master's much over sized shirt, wanting to be comfortable as she headed to the kitchen, soon pulling the food free of the oven.

Like a fly to honey, Ilford was there and ready to eat the second the food was produced.

Lot however, didn't care about the food smells drifting about. He was still fiddling with the metal screws and eyeballing the size of the canvas against the size of the hole.

Smiling and handing Ilford a cooled slice, with a warning about how little he'd eat if he got flour all over the place, placing the plate infront of him.

wondering to the setting room, she set with pizza, eating casually.

"AH HA!" The exclamation was a rather pleased one as it carried down the hallway. Lot followed after it, walking in to the kitchen.

"I got it, all you need to do is pick the..." He stopped to stare at the woman in his shirt.

"Hello."
