suri sighed, not sure what to think the next two days, and was soon outside, walking the streets, trying to figure out what on earth had happened to that man. She didn't care enough to make herself sick, but enough to look.

Vynz roared at the horrible little creature who was now holding not one but three needles.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT, YOU INSUFFERABLE URCHIN?! STOP POKING ME!" The little man just laughed in his chittering way.
"Big man temper down!
Figures nothing with a frown!"
And then he scurried away, leaving Vynz to his own again, seething with absolute frustration. This wasn't one of those things you could just let slide off your back. So he sat there, listening to the muffled sounds of construction above, trying to ignore the scent of the storm drains that had rushed in through the open door.

Sighing, she wanted to use magic, but ti was so obvious on the streets, hen she cam across zombie woman. Bingo.
" Hey, can you help me?"

Tawni opened one eye glanced down from where she was hanging by a rope around her throat in another alleyway.
"Huh? Oh! Sorceress chick! Hey!" The girl then proceeded to pull at a stitch, both her body and her head falling to the ground in separate pieces.
"What's up?" The head spoke as the body ambled around, trying to find it.

" My partner has gone missing, and I get the odd feeling foul play was involved, so that leads me to where is he? Not why, not even who, but where? I could careless about the other two questions..."
she explained simply.

Tawni's eyes drifted to watching her body as she spoke.
"Dude, that stinks. Happened to me once. Except it was my ear that went missing. It was foul play, though. A creeper took it at a rave." By this point the body had picked up her head and was pulling her hair out of the way and reuniting the two parts. The girl thought for a moment, speaking as she tied the string at her neck.
"So... then I'm guessing you've checked the usual places and vampire hunk isn't there. And if he hasn't shown up... Have you checked places with a lot of dirt? Like a grave? Or the sewers? You know they hate that whole being-buried thing. I wouldn't think that it would be easy to get him down there, and I can't imagine what would keep him down there, but it might explain why you can't find him."

" I thought you might be helpful."
Suri mussed, nodding slightly without any reservations, wondering off towards the local sewer access.

Tawni followed after her.
"Tada? I think?" The zombie slipped into the sewer without problem at the scent. Interesting fact: zombies have no sense of smell.

Suri merely glanced about, sighing as she wrinkled her nose, soon wondering off into the tunnels.

Tawni walked along with her.
"Hey, I know the hobos that lived in that tunnel back there."
Vynz was livid. He looked like he had just underwent some horrible acupuncture accident. There were tiny little needles sticking out of his skin as he held the creature by the scruff of his neck.
"I SHOULD MURDER YOU! SUCK OUT YOUR BLOOD AND POUR IT OVER YOUR ENTRAILS AS I HANG THEM FOR DECORATIONS IN MY HOME!"

Now suri grinned as the voice echoed off the walls.
" There we go."
She purred, following the sound carefully. Not dead.

Tawni winced.
"He sounds pissed..."
Two minutes later, he had returned to sitting in what he had named 'his' corner. Vynz didn't even pull out the needles this time. He looked, and just about was, half-crazed. The man's eyes were bloodshot and he was dirty from head to toe. His clothes were torn and filled with little puncture marks. The little creature laughed as he jigged about the room. Vynz was trying to remember just why it was that he wasn't allowing himself to kill the thing.

Suri sighed as she kicked up a lid to the little drain as she came upon Vynz now, eyes taking in his state, and the tiny room he was kept in. Why was he not just leaving this place? It certainly looked easy enough.

Tawni followed up after the woman and was nearly tackled by a little creature with a shrill voice.
"Ooo!
Stitches and itches!
All creaky and creepy!
Ooo!" She breathed on it and watched it fall unconscious. Simple enough.
Vynz was out of the corner in a blink of an eye. His hands clamped onto Suri's arms and he looked at her with almost wild eyes.
"Suri!" It came out as a partial hiss from the way that his fangs pressed against his dry lips. Kindly, though, he did not bite her.

Suri merely nodded, moving slightly.
" If you need to, latch on. But don't get too comfortable, it's dangerous to feed from me for long."
She informed him simply.

Vynz was surprisingly gentle, considering that he was more dead than not. After a few seconds, he became aware of the taste as opposed to the nearly-deadness in him. He didn't know what to think of it. It wasn't bad, not at all. It was bubbly in that same way that champagne is, identical to that almost-burn. But then, when he had enough to where he could at least think straight, he pulled away. Plick. He turned to see Tawni holding a needle she had pulled out of his shoulder.
"Could I have this?"

Suri moved and sighed, moving to remove the rest of the needles, handing them all to Tawni.
" Help yourself."
she replied casually, carefully helping Vynz, wondering if he'd be alright, deciding not to risk it and casting a light spell upon him. Merely an energy spell, to keep him nourished enough to make it out of this place.

Tawni put all of them in her pocket before bending over to stare at the creature.
"So... What are we going to do with it?"
"Don't bring it near me. I have had a week to devise the perfect torturous death I would like to exact."
"Speaking of which, why were you down here and letting it poke you with needles?"
"I was brought in through that door." He pointed up to the little trap door on the ceiling. "I came from what was an empty plot. But by the time that I was able to leave, the construction above had begun and the put down a new foundation for the building. The concrete storm outside is part of that private building. I can't cross the threshold. Not without an invitation..." Vynz shook his head as though clearing a fog. He then turned to Suri. "If I may ask one last favor, please free me from here?"

Suri sighed, nodding slowly. He better be glad she liked him. Placing both hands upon him a moment, she murmured a few words, then smiled to Tawni.
" Help yourself to all the fun you like, Tawni, I need to get him tended to."
without another word, the two vanished, and reappeared in her little apartment where she merely moved to direct him towards the shower, moving to rummage in her fridge, handing him a bottle without a word, followed by clean towels, and a rather odd looking soap bar.

Vynz had to pause and steady himself. And then he had to make sure that all of his body parts had made it there with him. However, after a minute he was able to resist the urge to vomit and spoke instead.
"You could have just said something to the effect of 'Come on, Vynz'..." He took the stuff, however and headed to her shower. The head popped off on him and he was frustrated by that, however, he managed to get it on and tight.

Considering he fixed the shower head in the first place, it was all his fault if it was faulty.
" get clean, and drink that bottle, you need it."
She replied simply, sending a text to Vy that vynz was alright.

Vynz did as commanded, not really having the energy for much objection at the moment.
"That tastes like moldy grubworms!" However, he was soon stepping out and wrapping a towel around himself.

suri sighed under her breath, moving to the man that was standing all but naked in her bathroom, unable to help the eyebrow raise. She was female after all. However, she quickly let the thought go as she considered the man before her.
" Yes, but it satisfies alot of hungers. The blood is also in the fridge, once you dress."
she purred, not explaining how she had clothes in his size, not telling him at the moment.

Vynz didn't knock it. He just went with it. That was kind of the way he was, after all. Also, it seems that after a few years of perfection, one loses their modesty. So he pulled on the clothes, perfectly happy with the black sweatpants and gray t-shirt. He sat down and pulled some blood out of the fridge. Man he hated old stuff, but... He began to shake it and rub it between his hands so that the separated liquid would mix and warm a little.
"I think you're my new favorite, new girl. Thank you."

Suri winced, and nodded, moving to place an apologetic hug about him quickly as she moved to organize her bottles in her little box on her bed.
" Oh... Vy sent me a message for you..."
She ventured, holding up her phone for him.

Vynz glanced down at the phone and then gave a half grin.
"That's Evynna for you." He drained the blood and sighed, letting his head rest against the wooden wall. The vampire could feel it spread through his body, a very faint pulse pushing it along. He closed his bright blue eyes, though he spoke again after a minute or two.
"Is your collar feeling okay? I didn't infect you, did I?"

suri shrugged slightly.
" You didn't harm me. You'd literally have to drain all but a gallon or so from me before I'd feel the effects of your venom, and you'd feel effects of mine long before then. My blood go laced when I finally hit Sorceress."
she explained softly, looking over the man, hoping he was going to be alright.
" You should rest. My collar is nearly healed."
She added the last on as an after thought, as he had asked.

"Do you mind if I stay here? I give you my undying word that this day you would be safe from any undue advance on my part." That was binding. So, even if she said no, she still had the promise. Vynz didn't even open his eyes. He was tired. Generally fine, but exhausted. And being so high and separated from the earth was a fantastic feeling.

suri moved, taking her things from the bed, and letting him lay down, merely setting on the other side and reading a book, without a comment to his vow.
" I expected you to. I don't expect to let you free until I know your alright."

Vynz nodded faintly and lay there for a while. After a bit he then stood up, pulling one of the doors to her wardrobe slightly ajar. He liked sleeping in enclosed spaces best - thus the design of his bed - and he blamed on the fact that he spent forever in a coffin. Don't misunderstand. he was perfectly capable of getting a good night's rest in an open space, but given the choice...
It was very strange what happened next. He flicked his wrists and leaned down at the same time. And then a white bat flew into her wardrobe. Vynz hung in the corner from the rod inside. He intended to sleep like that.

Vynz was quite happy hanging there and sleeping. It was nice and cool and dark in the wardrobe. And he got time to recuperate.

Suri woke in the middle of the night, moving and shutting the little door so she could change into her proper night gown, then opened it once more, slipping into her bed, under the covers, snuggling down to sleep more contently.

Vynz was startled awake, but he didn't freak out. As the door opened again, he simply readjusted on the railing and went back to sleep. In fact, he was probably going to sleep away half of the next day, if Suri would let him. Needless to say, he hadn't slept well down there.

Vynz was asleep through the whole ordeal, so it didn't really matter. However, as she began to work on her new spell, the bat did fly out of the wardrobe. After a minute, it latched on to her sleeve near the elbow, just laying there and watching. He was curious.

Suri smiled and left the bat be as she reached for the jar and then stopped, looking over Vynz before removing two solitary hairs and dropping them into the tiny bubbling pot before her, continuing. She was actually making a potion that required spell casting, but still. it was new, and it'd be awesome if it worked.

The bat squeaked and flew off of her arm. As it reached back to the corner of the room, it changed back into the man.
"Ow. You couldn't even give me some warning?" However, he was obviously too busy watching to be upset. Not that he was one for splitting hairs anyhow... ((I'm on a roll tonight))

" Attempting a new potion."
She replied simply, reading the last few details of the incantation, then making a few minor modification to the ingredients. ... If her calculations were right, she's have a star in a bottle when she was done. If everything was right.
" Hopefully it works. I need more of this, and it cost a quarter of a million to buy one."
