"I don't know. He can't kill me because he hasn't produced an heir yet. But on the other hand, trouble seems to follow when we are together."

Darryn drew up a knee, draping his elbow across it.

"I don't know. I think not, but I fear yes. I just... He's the favorite, son, okay? What he wants, he gets." Any favor. Any venue. Any girl.

Now ashleigh felt awkward, she didn't know if he'd been being friendly, or... she looked over Darryn, moving to kiss him gently now, still contemplating that throw him down thing.

Darryn tilted away, feeling pretty bad still. Between his brother and the third degree from the girl he liked... He was just in a poor mood.

Ashliehg sighed, moving to hold to him whether he wanted it or not as she sat, thinking.

" Something tells me, we might have two followers if we're not careful."

"Yours and mine?" Darryn glanced at her to see if they were on the same page, beyond that state of fighting. After all, Darryn was by nature pretty compliant anyhow.

" I just wanna join an anti vampire cult to see if they'd go away...."

Darryn's eyes widened slightly as he stared at her warily.

"...I trust you..." That was just about it. If she had wanted to kill him, she had already had plenty of opportunity - why bother now? Or at least that was his mentality.

Ashleigh smiled and moved to kiss the man, eyes sparkling slightly as she forced herself to focus, running through locations in her head as she attempted to pick the best place to go..... This was bothersome......

after what was likely an eternity to those watching her pacing in the small room, she stopped and turned to Darryn.

" allergic to sand?"

Darryn gave her one of those looks. His dream location included a beach. She had been there with him. And now she was asking if he was allergic to sand?

Darryn blinked a few times, wrinkling his nose. He couldn't help it. The man had to do a mental checklist of all of his parts. He really didn't like teleporting.

Darryn followed her without problem. They were standing in line, waiting to get to the ticket booth when something occurred to him.

Ashleigh nodded after the second act, looking disgusted... Apparently she was on the 'hate' list and left to go get something to eat, feeding wise... just not an opera lady, that'd hurt her ears if they screamed like that.

Damian looked up, arching a brow.

"I was just asking if you wanted some peanuts. I spotted you two and thought that I would say hello." He tilted his popcorn bag full of peanuts towards her, eyes glancing over the woman's shoulder to her victim. He laughed lightly, the sound infectious. It was one of those laughs that couldn't help but put someone at ease, enticing them to laugh as well. Unless you were Darryn, but in his experience he really seemed to be the only one immune to his brother's charm. Damian looked at Darryn.

"Your lady friend has excellent tastes."

Ashleigh glanced up to the man now, unable to stop the words as they fell, even if they were laced with a subtle venom, it was still clearly spat at the man, as if she'd taken insult to being called ' lady friend' .... which, knowing Ashleigh, was likely the case.

Damian held his hands up.

"Oh, forgive me my mistake!" He looked over at his brother.

"It's just been so long since I've seen Darryn in so long that I thought I would catch up." He cracked open a peanut, munching it as he offered the mouth of the bag to Darryn, who said absolutely nothing. Damian shrugged and watched the people walk along.

"So, are you marrying out or is she marrying in?"

"Oh, I was just curious." Damian put down his peanut bag on the floor and snatched a man from the pathway beside them. It took him all of half of second to kill the guy. Darryn was soon beside Ashleigh.

Darryn gave her a look of agreement, following after her. He didn't respond though. In all honesty, he wasn't sure that he believed enough in his abilities to hide a projected thought from his half-brother.

Damian actually didn't follow them at this point. He was far too busy.

" Of course that pig probably has a few different bastards to claim the line, but none will ever be legit... he doesn't seem to be the kind to settle for one or even three forms of entertainment for long."
