Marina looked up to Hale moving to let him settle beside her, cuddling right into him.

She asked him softly, tucking right into his arms as she welcomed the strength and comfort he could lend her right this moment. She didn't know pretty much anything so she was listening and waiting.

"So.... what's likely going on? You know... aside from I'm clearly the target and I'm suspecting this is an "She's supposed to be dead" kinda rage? "

"that party I don't know. I'm told they don't particularly like undead. So either you're supposed to be dead or someone you helped is supposed to be dead or something along those lines. They do like warriors, though."

Marina smiled at Hale, nodding as she watched Ryder walk back into the room.

"I hope you're not going to have a stomach ache. "

Poor man. They'd left with so many brownies. But she was so happy to have the food to herself. She shifted to be tucked between the men, a loving divider wall.

"So I've got someone helping with looking further into this.... hopeful we can find an answer sooner rather than later..... don't suppose you have a home more out of the way to not like..... accidentally get my grand kids extra crispy or something? "

Hale narrowed his eyes.

Marina blinked, explaining herself to him easily enough.

"To temporarily take shelter in one of your houses with perhaps less people about to possibly be harmed by a crazy horse girl? I have some material being delivered and as much as I feel safer with you than without, I don't want to cause you more headaches? "

She answered, watching him from his arms with a small squeeze of Ryder's hand as he sat beside her.

She offered, finger tracing down his chest.

Marina was surprised, turning to look over Ryder.

Marina shifted slowly, leaning back to kiss Ryder, making sure he was ok before he left. But aftee he left she leaned up to steal kisses from Hale.

She shrugged though, waiting to see what he considered reasonable.

Hale frowned.

"What other option is there?"
