Cael, meanwhile, was just slightly buzzed. He laughed lightly, tickling under her chin.

"You ought to."

And then he popped a little piece of cake into her mouth.

Chew, swallow, lean up, and take another kiss.

" I'm glad I get to stay."

Drunk, and happy, and sexy as hell. Yep, that was the general thoughts of everyone when invited to a party by Alyson, or even her friends. After all, professional strippers, you know, the real class ones that have people traveling to see them, were all gathered, right here, in next to nothing, and easy as hell right now.

Except the birthday girl. You could see the frustration on a few faces with how she seemed, even in this drunk state, to cling to one of two men. the even funnier thing? Someone who says 'cop' or 'swat' or 'security' scares away alot of drunk men. Hence why they never stepped foot towards the pair that held the monopoly on the gleeful Alyson.

Cael grinned lightly.

"I'm glad too."

So then the question was... what happens when the party winds down?

Good luck getting out. Everyone seemed to be plastered either passed out, or on the floor getting ready to see if they could wake up in the morning going 'I dunno who the daddy is'. Alyson? She seemed to be game to join such actions, bouncing from one man, to the other as they sat there. One kiss Mason, two kiss Cael... three kiss cael, get felt up by Mason, turn around and kiss Mason again XD

Mason was drunk off his ass. Cael was drunk enough. So, then... the question was...

1 + 1 + 1 = more fun?

Well, they did move to the limo outside before it went further then kisses, but let's be honest. soon the little convict was having fun with her body guards. Loads of it, actually. And to be fair, she honest could not recall, even the following morning ANY complaints about it ;)

Hence why Alyson just sort of half sat up on the floor of the limo, looking between the two before laying back down and going to sleep, calling her driver to come drive them to get breakfast. What? He inside in the apartment above where they had partied.

hence why the car started moving ( privacy window up) and took the off to a MCD for breakfast (to go) and picked up starbucks, and then parked them as asked, in the middle of nowhere, while he (driver) took a walk, the other three were left to their own vices.

Alyson was snuggled to both men, sleeping(ish) to them until one OPENLY stirred enough to cause her to respond. Right now, the duel morning woods were being ignored as she tugged the blanket off the bench seat to cover up with. Happy birthday girl.

Mason was the first one to really wake up - the smell of coffee was always his alarm clock. Fun fact: the man had never had a hangover in his life. He stretched slowly.

"Mmm... Mornin'." He grinned at Alyson, making the gimme motion towards the coffee.

Alyson smiled, leaning over and placing a kiss to Mason's lips before handing the coffee to Mason, moving to lay back down on Cael's chest, as he was stationary and all, looking over the many hickies, shaking her head.

" I'm like a vacuum when drunk.... Sorry."

If she played connect the dots, she could already make a star of david, or a really cool pain ball splatter on his chest....

Who knew what Cael looked like considering her slight favoring of the man... She wasn't looking, just using him as a pillow.

" Good..."

she purred, eyes rolling closed just thinking about it, the woman nodded, slowly shifting to stretch out looking over at Cael, gigging. Oh, apparently she'd still been playing when she'd managed to make this string of hickies a clear shape. She had a bottle of captain done on his shoulder. The art she had learned with a straw.

shaking her head, she decided Cael had slept too long, climbing right on into the saddle. Hey, it worked as long as it was up. Hence the smile that spread over her face at the reaction she earned from Cael was his eyes focused on her. Oh, the temptations there. Either way, the woman leaned over and stole a kiss from Mason, handing him his second cup of coffee. she ordered six for each. Just incase.

( Ate 6 bucks a cup?!?!?!?!)

Mason didn't care at the moment, drinking his coffee and beginning to rummage through the food bags to see what they had and what he wanted. Come on, he remembered last night and had lived with Cael and... Well, like as was said - Mason didn't care at the moment.

After all, this affected Cael the most out of the two.

"Good morning to you too."

Alyson smirked, leaning down and kissing Cael. It should also be fair to mention Alyson was comfortable with both men so the fact she didn't 'dismount', and was actually evil enough to taunt, made you wonder if she intended to finish, or make him frustrated for late ;)

Alyson never left Cael frustrated though. -_- At least, not longer then like the hour or so to get through whatever was needed.

Mason was left to the food. She ordered six of everything off the menu. Six had sounded like a really good number when half awake.

Alyson was fine with this now, as she'd ( well they) had gotten what had been wanted from the deal, handing him a cup with a soft laugh.

" You two are impossible."

She purred, content to nestle right back down into the blanket and sleep things off. The best part? She was singing the bunny hop song under her breath as she did sleep off into a light sleep.

Mason reached out and grabbed her wrist as she poked him, opening one eye. You think she would have learned by now. Thieves are incredibly conscious of their personal space - you didn't steal from one unless they let you have it. Then, he woke up the rest of the way and let her go.

Alyson? Didn't care when he'd catch her like that. The worst that had happened when he'd done that is she'd got what she'd wanted, and laid, Oooohh... so much issues there -_- .

Smiling, she leaned over and kissed him, and then stole his bag of food.

" Mine."

With that, she ate her plain McGriddle buns :), Leaning back against Cael, looking up at him.

"Love you too."

However, a second or two after it had been said, Cael lifted his head. It had been reflexive, one of those things that is bred in to you. Only now did he realize what he said.

Mason was staring. Hard.

Alyson hadn't thought about it when she said it, one of those slip of the tongue moments where you never even realized you'd done it until someone stomped on your foot kind of things. When he'd said it back it hadn't really even registered, hence why she was still munching her hash brown, pausing at Mason's look. What?

She looked at him, rather confused, slowly starting to play back what could have caused this look... until. Crap. Well, Mason's WTH? Look was now matched with something along the lines of 'Sh!t' .

All of that buoyancy faded away and the full air now drained completely. They were just left like that for a long moment. Then, Mason leaned over and began to rummage through the clothes, trying to find his pants. Cael cleared his throat.

"Trade you coffee. I don't like this flavor."

Just try to ignore it?

Alyson?

She snatched her clothing and was in the front seat and dressing, window springing down and up in record fashion. loli pops. She fully intended to claim she was still buzzed on that one, if it EVER got mentioned.

You can't be attached to these men that way, moron. These guys are using you, just like your using them. You have to keep this in perspective. it's a good thing, but your just riding it until this goes sour.

Well, to be fair, I don't think the boys see her only as a breathing toy, and i don't think they would take kindly to hearing her spoken about like that. But these were inner thoughts, and they'd never be clued in.

They also likely would not know that Alyson had slipped out the open window, and was off to running ( barefoot, she'd forgotten her shoes when she'd jumped and vanished) .... And that driver had no intent of coming back until around 7pm or so.... everytime Alyson was involved, he'd come back to something weird in that limo, so he intended to try to avoid it. Which left the two boys all but stranded.

Cael and Mason got dressed. After a while, they figured it out. There was a long silence between them. Then, being the great friend he was, Cael left Mason to fend for himself. The man shifted to shadow, slipping home easily. He just settled into his room, door shut.

Mason was going to take a while longer to get home. However, he would make it home. He always did. He was street-smart. That's why it didn't matter that all he had was leftover breakfast, three crumpled dollar bills, and a paperclip.

Alyson was not the sort to bail. Never. She always remained to what she put her word in. She'd stated she'd give notice if leaving, and that if no notice was present, you could bet your life she wasn't leaving.

But she did not return home that day, or the next. she was having a mental break down of sorts. She adored her job, and the men she 'worked' for. But it grew lonely when you must remind yourself they might be friendly with you, but they were not really your friends. None were, really. That was the largest draw back of her job. Fake friends, hollow faces. Nothing worth noting.

This would be why the boys were left to their own devices as Alyson sat, swishing her feet in the waters on the bank of some lake, in the middle of nowhere.

the girl had zero sense of direction, or she'd be aware she'd run almost fifteen miles away from where the care had been parked, crossing a state line in the process. She'd been pushing it before, with the party, and then where the driver had taken them to put them right on the border.... but now, she was in another state, and no one knew her, and she had left her cell phone in the car, and she had no clue where she was... and no one would look for her, aside from maybe the boys... and that would only be when they wanted a dance and....

Yep, alyson was having a tiny moment where she was hating herself for showing that one little sentence. That was one sentence she was not allowed to utter, and she had. The woman, normally smiles and tease, was currently tears and lonely.

Mason didn't make it home until the next day.

Cael by this point was concerned, but he didn't know what to do. After all, she was free to come and go. He couldn't help but think that it was his fault, though.

However, both men had forgotten that there had been a little bit of something before she had left. The flowers they got her for her birthday had now wilted, and the two presents were forgotten, left in lonely wrapped boxes on top of her still packed luggage.

alyson eventually stripped and washed in these waters, as it had now been two days, and she could not figure the way she'd come. Once dress, a passerby happened upon her. she ended up going with this stranger, simply because she did not know up from down out here.

Too bad Alyson had no radio. She'd have known whom this man was and had the mindset to run, rather then climb in like a willing little child seeing candy.

Well, they would know, if EITHER of them switched on the news. As it was reported, it would become clear alot of things. Including her thought processes being all but confirmed as the news flashed on three days later.

" This just in, a woman was found nearly dead in central park last night. Police believe it was the work of now escaped serial killer Alexis Travoski, who escaped last week.

She suffered some severe bruising, and has marks upon her wrists and ankles showing that she was bound, and the doctors report that her physical state screamed starvation and dehydration. The near fatal injuries were two stab wounds that severe the artery near her heart, and the main artery in her upper thigh.

She is currently being labeled 'Jane Doe' as no one knows who she is. Right now she is in critical care, and the doctors are not sure she will make it through the day."

Then a very blue and purple image of a woman flashed over the screen for a few seconds.

" If anyone knows this woman, please contact the NYPD immediately."

So they were in Virgina. How had little Alyson gotten all the way to NY? Yep, no sense of direction, and not in her right mind enough to be judging people properly.

It was nothing short of amazing what Mason did. The man turned to face Cael, and with utter seriousness, he spoke.

"Go. Now."

Cael was already gone. The man showed up a matter of minutes later in the police department, holding a photograph with the three of them.

"Please, can I see her?"

He held up the picture. Then he kind of manipulated the truth.

"She's my lover."

With some brief discussion about family, and such, they begrudgingly showed Cael in, where Alyson was unconscious hooked up to enough machines to make one's head wonder.

the nurse in the room looked up.

" She has yet to wake..."

Alyson looked a million times worse in person. Her entire face was swollen, her entire whole visible body was either a shade of blue, or purple. You could not even make out her normal color of hair, as she was still having bleeding from even the smallest of shifting, it was all matted, and a dark, crimsonish brown.

She looked like she should, by all rights not be alive. It was a miracle she was.

As Cael looked at her, his head immediately went to a painful place. It was mixture of that memory of their car accident. All of this, it leveled guilt upon guilt upon guilt. He felt like it was his fault. And he hated how he always got out of these things unscathed. Cael, dear reader, was the posterchild for survivor's guilt.

"We have an intimate friend coming. His name is Mason. Please, let him in when he gets here..."

The man spoke this softly as he sat down in the chair beside her bed. He reached out slowly, slipping his hand into hers gently.

Even in this state, Alyson recoiled, entire little body seeming to brace as she started to cry. The doctors hardly touched her if they could help it, the nurses refused to, unless direly needed. Why? For this reason. She'd flinch back, and sometimes start screaming and sobbing. Never awake, that much was clear... but always hysterical.

A few hours later, after contact had been broken, and she had calmed... she did wake, but the moment she did, cops were in the room, pressing questions. Alyson said nothing. She didn't even blink as she looked up at them. They were blocking Cael from sight, so there was no clue to her that he was there, she simply shook her head, scooting back to the side furthest from them, looking out the window. Nothing was offered to these men.

After a few more minutes, a group of six nurses bullied the two cops out of the room, leaving Cael to look a Alyson, who was unaware he was there.

Alyson jumped, and she turned, looking over Cael, confusion clear.

" You did not do this to me. I am the one who wondered off. I am the one who rode with him, in hopes of being dropped off at the nearest town.... I was, just I was unaware that their was such a large price for a ride. "

she replied softly, looking out the window. What did it matter? The woman tugged the sheets up, looking to the nurse that returned.

" Would you or your lover like anything else?"

She asked, causing Alyson to look right back at cael as she shook her head.

" You didn't have to lie to them."

She stated gently, snuggling down to her bedding, not in a condition to hide the tears. They could be from anything, right? After all, looking at the date on the wall... she'd laid in that park for two days, bleeding out like that, with no one knowing where she'd been. .... She was one of those people that you hope is found dead. Someone no one knew, or was attached to. Someone that society functioned without, on all levels.

The woman merely sobbed harder though as she thought about everything that had run through her head while laying there, in the grass, alone. Everything she'd done to try not to get straight up killed by the man with a knife.....

" I am just the live-in, help. I have no rights to claim, think, or say such a thing."

An internal battle that had always been waged with these two. She had to daily remind herself of who she was to them. It was difficult at times... and it was true, she loved both of them. But she shouldn't. She knew better.

" My job was to please, I got carried away, i am sorry."

she stated once more as a final note, cringing back from he doctor that walked in, trying not to flinch everytime they touched her, watching how they checked her over.

" You are looking terrific... You should be alright to leave in the next week... Your... financee? he is welcome to stay if he wants."

" can not mix emotions with work."

She uttered back softly, wiping at her face.

" I guess this is my notice."

she could not go on forcing herself to pretend they were her boss, and she their employee. She could not let herself break that simple rule, and get away with it, either. She was not the 'just this once' kind of girl.

However, those thoughts would carry over into her sleep, as the drug she'd been given had taken effect almost right after she uttered those words. No time for comments from anyone else.
