Lot actually flinched as she pressed against quite a bit of his skin.

"You're hurting me." He really meant that in the literal sense. A sunburn was far more painful than even being cut or bitten. He turned his eyes away. Just wait...

She purred, pulling back, eyes running over him slowly.

" ... at least you'll not have to tend to the baby."

Lot looked away and opened the door.

"Of course, Mistress. Seeing as I won't be around."

Victoria looked to Lot, eyes running over him, heart now aching for not only herself, but him.

" don't call me that, master."

She said gently, walking into the house.

" Your going to be around, stop talking like that."

She purred softly, wondering into the house, hesitant on where to go now.

Lot walked into the house and shut the door, dropping a little tapestry over the still broken hole.

"You will see." The man then proceeded to the kitchen, pulling all of the food out of the cabinets and the refrigerator. He began placing it in plastic bags.

Victoria looked to him, sighing softly as she followed him.

"I already kept you." The man picked up the plastic bags, throwing it into garbage bags so that it was easier to carry. He moved to the next kitchen to do the same without looking at her.

Victoria looked him over, moving slowly to start helping him, currently ignoring aching feeling in her mouth as she helped her master work, not sure what to do once she was done.

Lot took the trash bags and tossed all of the food in a garbage can outside. His voice was very soft.

"You did not take very much. Are you ready to implode from starvation, yet?"

Victoria looked to her master, shaking her head slowly. She could feel the urge, even the need to lung at the nearest thing with a pulse, but she really didn't care. She was concerned about her master.

" Not at the moment."

She informed him softly, moving to him slowly, kissing him softly, nuzzling him lightly, much as ever his obedient girl, looking up at him. Keeping her fangs to herself, however, she was noticing that it was a bit challenging. But she did it.

Lot sighed slightly. He had been a vampire for a while, and one thing a vampire never forgot was their own turning (provided they were once human, of course). The man stepped out of her arms for two reasons: 1) sunburn and 2) he was not in the right state of mind for that. However, he did lift his hand, running his thumb along her lips.

"I don't believe you." He turned away, closing the garbage can.

"Would you feel better if I showed you?" It seemed like that should have been coated with the tone that made it sound like a huge impediment. However, Lot's words sounded like he was obligated to do something with whatever time he had.

She replied softly, still getting use to her new body, not sure she liked how it felt, fangs coming out a bit as he ran his finger over her lips, keeping from catching him, looking up at him, not sure how to handle this.

Looking after him, she did have a hard issue with trying not to leap on him when he took off, not at all surprised when she caught up with him, considering, glancing about. Her senses were on overload. She could smell everything from the way Lot smelled, and she did, to the ground, grass, to the animals that normally inhabited the woods.... but what was maddening was the pulsing she could hear in her head.

" Ugh..."

Lot sighed. He stopped, his hand on a thick tree and his eyes resting on a rather large buck.

Victoria didn't need instruction on this one. She lunged from the tree and had the animal at her mercy in moments, groaning softly as she fed. Hands shaking as she fought dropping to her knees in pleasure as the warmth flooded into her body.

Lot stood there rather emotionlessly. He had fed earlier that day, after all. A little bit of bleeding wasn't going to negate that. His amber eyes rested on her, just waiting. He didn't say anything.

Looking to the animal as it fell to the ground, she smiled ever so slightly as she wiped her face cleaned, swallowing and licking her lips, looking up to Lot, a rather timid look upon her face. What did she do now?

Lot nodded to her as though approving, though it wasn't entirely like that.

"Good?" The man turned now.

"It's an animal, leave it and the other animals will take care of it." He began to walk back towards the house.

Victoria followed after him slowly, catching his hand lightly, not sure what to do now, feeling..wrong, looking about as they walked through the woods back to his house.

" I don't feel well..."

Yes, her body felt a million times better, but she meant her, herself.

Lot pulled his hand free, flexing the fingers. His skin had blistered in several places and peeled in several more. The man turned around to face her, eyes drifting over her as though looking for something.

"What does it feel like? A sluggish lethargy is to be expected. You will need to sleep."

She replied, rubbing her stomach and wanting to climb into his arms, sulking slightly about the fact he was hurt and she couldn't.

Lot looked her over and then shrugged.

"I'm sorry, I do not have an explanation. Your body may still be adjusting." OMG HEART ATTACK! Lot just apologized! And for something that wasn't his fault to boot!

Victoria looked to Lot, moving and kissing him gingerly.

" I want you to heal up."

She complained cutely, looking him over before turning to walk outside, ignoring the yawn that threatened. Dessa...

Finding the woman setting under a tree, she sighed as she noticed teh girl's lips turning blue.

" Come on inside..."

she said, a bit of a growl to her voice. She wanted to cuddle Lot...

Lot just looked at her over that comment.

"I'm supernatural, not superman. I can't fix things." He offered his hands pathetically and then sighed, walking into the house.

Dessa looked up at Victoria, her eyes narrowing just slightly at the growl. She couldn't decide if this was a friendly gesture or a death threat in disguise.

"You... are actually inviting me inside your house?" Her voice was surprisingly strong for how much she was quivering. She stood up, chill bumps rising over her skin.

" Yes... I intend to give you clothes and get you dry, then smack you... then offer you a spot to rest, if you'd like."

She replied honestly, a bit testy about what she'd done to Lot. Without waiting to hear the woman's words, she walked back to the house, seeing Lot, moving to kiss him softly, giggling as her fangs grazed his lip, eyes sparkling. He needed to hurry up and heal.

With a deep sigh she then moved to get Dessa some clothes.

Dessa straight up refused to take the clothes, however, she took a couple towels gladly. She let down her hair, scrubbing the water out of it.

"Um, Alexi, if I may ask before you try, why are you wanting to smack me?" The girl was ever polite with this inquiry and even with the denial of the clothes.

Lot licked his own lip as he moved away, not particularly interested. The man's eyes brushed across the teenage slayer that had been invited into his home. Lot should have objected quite forcefully, but instead he just nodded to the girl and made his way upstairs to his room. He turned the knob so that the glass transparentcized. He then lay down on his bed, having decided that was where he wanted to die.

She complained openly.

" Not only that, but it's your fault that I'm in this state."

She replied flatly.

Dessa sighed as she dropped the towel on the floor, her wet and stringy hair clinging to her. She proceeded to wring out her dress. However, she didn't unlace the corset.

"I couldn't just let you die. It's against my morals. Besides, think of what all would have happened because of it."

She pointed out smoothly, looking over Dessa.

" I want him. I can't even have the little parts I had before right now."

Dessa looked up at her now, her dark eyes completely calm. She was used to be blamed with things she hadn't done, things that her nature somehow justified in people's minds.

Dessa looked up, only mostly damp now. The girl smiled sadly.

Victoria shook her head, sighing softly.

" Either way, it's your fault I'm still here."

She replied simply, leaving the girl in the room nearest the front door on the base floor, heading off, sighing inwardly as she went in search of her master.

Looking to him as she came into her room, she looked him over.

" Can I come lay down?"

She asked softly, hiding another yawn.

Lot was staring up at the ceiling, watching the Orionids shoot across the skies. It was a nice sight, especially for one of the last things that he would ever see.

"I thought you would. After all, this was the bed." He moved his arm and lay it across his stomach without anything else.

Dessa, however, was making herself at home. She dodged the smack!

Victoria smiled as she climbed into the bed, resting herself right beside him, and sleep took over in a matter of seconds, hand holding his, the only thing she dared touch as she slept.

Lot knew that she would be out. After all, he had just been there and wanted to return, but he was too uneasy to sleep. The man sighed, looking at the hand and then laying it back to her, leaving him to himself.

UNLIKE Lot, Victoria stirred at the change of position, and looked to his hand, taking it, and slipped back to sleep. He had no problem holding her, he had no problem sleeping with her. .. he'd had no problem tending to her, no problem being with her, no problem tolerating, or doctoring her.. he was even fond of her painting... so the least he could do was hold her hand while she slept.
