Let's Play!

Naomi would not instruct or push. However, she tugged and kissed at him lightly. She was beyond willing, pushing up and nuzzling and nipping at him now.

Hunter would hesitate for a moment, but only for that - a moment. He would proceed to peel her clothes off, though this particular time he didn't seem to be too demanding. If she changed her mind, this was probably the safest time to do it.

Naomi would not, for those that care to know. She was even smiling afterwords, fingers playing over his features.



" You know... For me being nothing but a stranger, you were pretty good to me."

Hunter would lay there casually in their bed, slowly running his fingers back and forth lightly across the base of her spine.



How so?

You have never hit me with the intent to harm.



Save that once... when he'd snapped her neck. However, everyone learned there lesson there, right?

It does not serve a purpose.



Hunter glanced down at her.



You have not made a habit of threatening me.

That would be like a flea growling at a lion. Pointless.



she pointed out.

Hunter shrugged.



Exactly. It doesn't serve a purpose.



Which is what he just said.

Naomi smiled as she nipped at him a bit more.



You paint so much it is a wonder your wall is not ten feet thick.





Random observation.

Hunter shook his head.



I strip and sand it every New Year.



His eyes wandered to the wall.



It's the only holiday I celebrate, and that's how I do it.

Glad to know this house is empty of life.



Oh, the layers to that one.

Hunter lay there for a while, his brows drawing together slowly. Then, he shifted his head upon his arm so that he could glance down to her face.



Are you being sarcastic?



He couldn't figure out what she meant. Hey, he was 'human' too. He didn't automatically understand EVERYTHING.

Naomi shook her head.



" Nothing of consequence."



She replied faintly, slowly moving to get up.

Hunter sighed, sitting up and watching her move. However, he didn't get up yet.



"You know... If I'm doing something wrong, I probably won't realize it unless you tell me."

Naomi looked at Hunter.



" Nothing wrong, I just.... I am use to the silence and can easily entertain myself. I do not paint."



In other words, be prepared for her to grow bored... and random things to start happening... Like... Twister wall paper.

Hunter's eyes brushed over her.



"You know, you are free to make yourself at home. There are the two rooms in the front hall that I never use that you can fill with whatever you want."



He shrugged.



"There are really only two things that I'd ask you not to do. Please don't decide to get rid of my fridge, and don't change the actual layout of my house."



Like... knock holes in the walls or build new ones or something.

" I don't do heavy carpentry"



Naomi offered simply, glancing at him.



" I have only one real hobby, and it's wasted at the moment. I am fine. I was just warning you."



She helped people, it distracted her from things, but people's pulses were annoying so she tried to even limit that now.

Hunter nodded slowly.



"I didn't paint when I first became a vampire, unless it was ceremonial body paint. That's something that I picked up over time."



He pointed it out. When you need a way to cope, you'd find one.

Her way to cope had been to focus on others. She had gone into a profession to do such. Either way, she moved and kissed Hunter. He'd been her focus lately. But she feared over pushing him, and things as they were...



This is why she was she would move into her room and absently work on straightening things.

Thalia jumped out of Naomi's drawer, pouncing her with a growl.









Hunter meanwhile got up. He would linger for a bit before moving out into the living room.

Naomi would play with the cub happily, smiling and growling back at the little thing gently, having zero issued romping.



She would eventually discover she could outlast the pup and watch the cub collapse.

Fang was not in the house at the moment, for those who care to know. Full grown guys have to eat sometime too.



Hunter stood at the window wall, staring out. However, it was obvious that he wasn't using his eyes. Whatever he was doing... It was in his head.

Naomi would finish all the random adjustments on her room and end up staring at the cub on her bed.



" I should not enjoy you so, your suppose to at least be partly wild."



she informed the sleeping creature.

Naomi, are you so sure that she wasn't? The pup was currently chewing on your blanket in her sleep.



Fang would slip past Naomi, hopping up to put his front paws on the edge of the bed. This allowed him to just see over the edge by laying his head sideways on the rim. He was looking at Thalia.

Naomi was so bothered by this. So bothered in fact she shifted the bedding so the little cub could chew more if she wanted. Then her eyes turned to Fang.



" I am glad she is here for you. "



She informed the wolf gently, leaving father and cub once more, soon sitting in the hall, mulling things over.

Fang would drop back to the floor completely, absently stalking after Naomi.



Hunter would give a faint grunt from the living room.



"You're a pain. I hope you know that."



Thimbleton had filled the floor with tacks in exactly one inch squares for several feet around Hunter. He had been too distracted to notice.

Naomi glanced over to Thimbleton, frowning.



If that's serving, please do not serve me.



It was spoken lightheartedly, despite her current down state.

Thimbleton just gave a little snicker and then disappeared.



Hunter moved to the couch, sitting down and pulling tacks out of his foot.



Well... he's done worse.

wonderful things to look forward to.



You know, she'd likely glue his feet together or something for that...

Oh, not unless you do something that gets on his nerves.



If it made her feel any better. Now, Hunter was gathering up the tacks to put them away.

The front hall bathroom is still fully operational.



Hunter shrugged.



Thimbleton just doesn't like it when people mess with 'his' house.

Naomi looked to Hunter, moving the few feet to sit near him.



I see.



She considered this, moving kiss Hunter now.

Hunter smiled at her then and nodded. Then, he gestured to the side.



It's snowing.



Not that big of a deal. He was just pointing out that, at some point while they were gone, summer had ended and something new had begun.

Naomi looked to the window and instantly moved tighter to Hunter's chest. NOT a fan of winter... more past occurrences that were not cool.



" You don't like ice skating, do you?"

Hunter made a face.



"I can ice skate, but I don't do it for fun."



He eyed her suspiciously.



"Why?"

" I loath it."



She offered softly, snuggling to him, kissing him.



" I like you so much mroe all of a sudden."

Hunter paused, trying to decide.



"Would it be prying to ask why?"
