" This sucks."

She wanted a new one. She didn't wanna watch a tear causing moving, and The bucket list was doing just that.

Alyson smiled, taking it, pulling all the candies off and leaving the sandwich on the plate forgotten as she reached over and snatched the receipt, going to read it while they watched the movie.

It was a donation receipt. Obviously, by his behavior, Mason hadn't been intending to show anyone or anything... but after she made her persistent reference to him in that manner... Mason had put it out so she could see. Apparently had had donated almost all of his clothing (he literally owned three outfits now) to the disabled veterans salvation army place. Also, anything that he either hadn't sold or hadn't bothered to sell was apparently hawked at a pawn shop (see the other receipt stapled to the donation one) and the money had been donated too.

Alyson made a face at the receipt and got up, moving to mason's room. By now it was time to wake up. She climbed in onto of Mason, kissing him, snuggling down into his chest.

" we need to talk, wake up."

She purred softly.

Mason turned his face away, pushing at her just a tiny bit. he didn't want to wake up. However, after a minute, the bleary-eyed man peeked at her.

He scrunched his eyes shut for a minute, squirming before rubbing at them.

"Huh?"

You should have brought coffee. We all know Mason is useless without coffee.

Alyson shifted, leg on each side of his body, hugging him.

" All your things and such. You went too far. Why did you do it?"

Cause it didn't look like an act of generosity. It looked like a small child's response to being ridiculed. However, she was concerned, not upset.

Mason blinked, looking at her now.

"It was only some more than usual."

This donation hadn't been an anomaly. He sat up then, letting her slip down as he ran his hands through his hair.

"I didn't see the point in toting a bunch of crap halfway around the world. I still have what I want."

He gestured to three boxes in the corner.

"What I do with my stuff is normally my private business, but you seem so convinced that I'm such a bad guy..."

The man shook his head.

Alyson looked after him, then just snuggled into his bed. She was upset with him, but he was getting away with being an ass to her. That made her feel about = < that big.

Alyson replied simply, looking at the cup, uninterested.

"No, I was the one that was there. The whole time. That was me."

He shook his head, drinking his own coffee.

"And now I'm the third wheel and the butt of the joke and criticized for being consistently what I am."

Oh. Someone was feeling... belittled.

On her part, anyway. Slowly she rose, kissing him.

" You are not a third wheel to me. i have tried to come to you more then once, but when you turn me away I'm not going to sit in the floor and cry. Not when your being mean or curt. I'm going to leave you alone."

She pointed out, kissing him a couple more times before she snuggled him.

Because he felt that like she now looked down her nose at him, and he got very defensive then. He hated that feeling.
