and soon he'd have a color something close to charcoal, but it had a blue hue to it... and something like silvery flecks.. but they were black.. it was a rather depressing and pretty color all at the same time. Either way, the color was given to hunter.

Hunter would sit down and he would begin to work with her. He would also open up a can of straight black to aid in the process.

Naomi nodded, soon having something just lighter then navy blue and so deep even when it would dry it would still look wet. Someone could mix herself some colors.

After a while, the walls would be painted with a new scape. There wasn't really anything hidden in it like he normally did. It was less thought and ust simply for the sake of looking.

Naomi looked it over, absently reaching into the tree and placing her hand. she pulled it back and noted the faint hand print, smiling... the smile grew when she watched little Storm place both of his hands in the paint with a large smile. She lifted the child up and to her chest now, snuggling him. Sweet baby.

Hunter considered this. Then, dropping his brushes into the solvent, he reached out and put both of his handprints, one on either side of Naomi's shielding it.

Naomi looked up at Hunter, and she seemed to calm a bit further, leaning over to kiss him.

he declared. well, there was a new word.

Hunter laughed then, smiling at his boy.

"Your hands are wet. Are you wet?"

Hunter shifted to wipe off his own hands so that he could check.

he exclaimed again, pointing to his mother's face now.

Hunter looked up at Naomi, his eyes softening. The man leaned over and gently kissed at her cheeks.

Naomi snuggled her big boy a bit closer to her, considering it all. Four was so many, five would be overwhelming to her... Someone who'd be so anti-child... she still wasn't big on children.. Her kids were cool, but still.

... this is never gonna work.

she declared softly, wiping at her tears and smearing paint everywhere.

naomi smiled, wiping at her tears and getting paint in her eyes, she started tearing up anew as she let Storm stay with dad and went to go flush her eyes, trying to ignore the burning pain.

... I don't paint. there is a reason i don't do hands required art... well, i can sculpt if I put my ass in a chair and make it happen, but it's so boooooooooring.
