On the Floor
Little heart framed face graced by platinum blonde curls and big, bright grey eyes, Alyson sighed softly as she slipped on her Gucci heels and double checking her appearance one more time. As old fashioned as it was, her grandmother still insisted that she have a coming out party for her 16th birthday party. Naturally, they literally invited everyone. Neighbors, friends, everyone from school, strangers they met in the super market, everyone. So even more naturally, their 4 acre rose garden was packed with people from all over England.
The party, she supposed the next few years was a success, as she had loads of guys calling her. Her school went to the way side, and soon she was working the night side of life and living in a studio apartment in the rougher side of town. It was definitely a change, but something she felt much more at home doing. Each night she came back to her place, smelling of cigars and liquor, and each night she showered and watched the Andy Griffin show re-runs in black and white before falling asleep as the sun rose.
Until the night she got the most mysterious offer of her ‘career’ to date. The offer to be a personal dancer, for two roommates, and escort, when needed, for a very nice little sum, paid in advance. She needed the money, she’d lost her place this morning, and these two were definitely hot enough they didn’t need to trick a girl into sleeping with them, ….. So with that being said, and the fact she arranged her own room, the little woman happily agreed. Monies paid prior to contract agreement, of course.

Cael ran his hands through his longer light brown hair as he straightened his back, sifting through the contents of his closet. And then he bellowed.
"MASON! Did you take my shirt? The black one with the polished buttons?"
Mason laughed as he glanced at his reflection in the mirror. He gelled his dirty blonde hair up before unbuttoning the top shiny button of the black shirt.
"Why would I want that ratty thing? With the stupid shiny buttons? You look like the prophecy scene from Hercules when you wear that."
"That's not what your girlfriend said last night." Mason just laughed, smiling smugly and waited for the reneg. "C'mon, man. That girl is supposed to be showing up soon." Mason said nothing. Frustrated, Cael just plucked the next shirt his dark, almost black eyes fell on. It happened to be a dark green. Cael turned off the light and walked out to make sure he hadn't accidentally left a pair of underwear in plain sight or something.

Alyson looked about as her cab pulled up, and she slowly climbed out of the car. The place kind of looked like no one should be living here, vines growing up the front of the house, and trees over-run with moss and weeds, grass unkept, fences covered with wildlife vines of all kinds, pathway to the door littered with years of fallen leaves..
Kicking he leaves aside, Alyson made her way to the porch, her only to bags in tow, eyeing the house curiously, wondering if she'd been set-up after all... But she had already deposited the check, and it hadn't bounced... and they said this address.... It just didn't.. Look proper was all. who was she to judge proper?

Both Mason and Cael got to the front door at about the same time. The two of them stared at each other. Mason was a little taller than Cael, but to balance it out, Cael was more built. They both looked pretty nice, from Mason in the black shirt and khakis to Cael in the green open shirt, white muscle shirt underneath, and crisp dark jeans. Cael frowned harshly.
"I hate you." Mason just smiled and reached for the lock on the door. He frowned and jiggled it some before muttering.
"Dang it, Cael. I thought you were going to fix this blasted thing."
"I've been busy, unlike someone else around here." He hissed back. And he reached forward and then began to fiddle with it too. This was a delicate art, actually. You had to turn the knob, hold the door just the right spot, stand on one foot and hold your breath before the lock would let loose. However, the door swung open after a minute, and Mason took a couple steps back to avoid getting hit in the face. However, he pulled it off by leaning against the nearest piece of furniture.
"Hello."

Looking between the two men, she waived her fingers, ever so slightly, nodding to them with the slightest inclination of her head as she brushed a curl that escaped the comb holding her hair back.
" hello."
She purred back softly, both suitcases of possessions set on the front porch, as they weer kind of blocking the door, and she wasn't too certain she was going to get much time to settle in, judging by their apparel... then again, maybe they dressed that way on casual days.... I mean, look at what she was wearing..... but that was normal for her...

Cael stepped back from the door, letting it swing open the rest of the way. Truth be told, that was why the lock had become so finicky. The door was heavy and it really would rather not stay shut. The man nodded to the girl, stepping forward to take her bags from her.
Mason simply stood there and smiled, glancing over the newcomer. He shifted forward and held a hand out to her.
"Welcome. Come in."

Alyson walked in, rolling bags in tow, looking about. Well, the inside certainly didn't match the outside. With plush dark brown suede couch, and two chairs, cozy looking fireplace, and well maintained wood floors. The mahogany colored walls made the room dark, but warm as the ceiling was merely a dark color, looking almost like charcoal.
Considering the plush rug before the fireplace, looking to be made of furs, and the windows covered with thick crimson drapes covering the windows. ( Not that they'd let any light in, anyway, as they vines pretty much covered the house.) They were suspended upon tarnished brass rods. Over all, very dark, but very cozy looking.
Now the question of the day, what now?
" Thank you."
She purred as an after thought as she stood, bags in tow, saying nothing more.

Mason smiled lightly, placing a hand on the back of her shoulder.
"I'm Mason."
Cael nodded to her.
"And I'm Cael. Not to rush you, but your room is this way..." He actually did a fine job of opening her door even with the suitcases in his hands.

Alyson looked to her room, and smiled to herself as her things got placed inside and then looked to Cael, smiling, ever so slightly.
" Thank you."
She purred again, considering him a few moments as she merely left her things in the room for now, and looked him over. They were clearly going somewhere.
" Do I need to change, or will this work?"

Mason smiled lightly at her.
"That is perfect. I hope you're hungry."
((*ideatheft*))
Cael smiled, all of the sudden walking out of their company. He had the keys! Mwahahahahaha!

Nodding slowly, she left all but purse in her room and followed after the two boys, currently wondering what was to happen with her now as she currently was considering Mason's ass. It was a nice one, did he lift weights?
Keeping her comments to herself, she followed the two without too much care.

Mason didn't bicker with Cael about driving, not even a single word. Instead he opened the passenger door for the girl, gesturing her in.
"Food allergies?"
Cael rolled his eyes as he cranked the sleek red convertible. Mason was really laying it on thick. It wasn't like they hadn't already decided where they were going, and the only food allergy he could think of that would interfere with the plans was gluten, but... He glanced at her. That would really stink. Pretty much no carbs period.

" Nothing I couldn't remove on my own if need be, just olives."
she purred simply, smiling as she slide into the backseat of the car, looking over the soft, smooth black Leather interior, considering the nice little collectible car they were riding in now. A beautifully maintained classic. 65' corvair convertible, in perfect condition, this had to be worth a fortune to the right collector. However, no, these men were driving it around like it was an everyday street car. Oh well, to each his own.
Looking up to Cael driving, she smiled, ever so slightly, and then turned her gaze to Mason. Oh yes, this job was going to be .... interesting... but first things first... I wonder how long until we're there. I'm hungry.

It was a nice little restaurant, really. It had high vaulted ceilings, but the rich mocha and burgundy spackle brought it down to you in a cozy sort of way. The serving staff all wore crisp, cream colored dress shirts and black pants along with a black lap apron and bow tie. They seemed to even match the pristine cream tablecloths and sconces framing the big windows.
The group was seated at a table near the rear of the store, a window overlooking the city plaza. A spindly waiter was standing at the head of the table with a little notepad on which he was scribbling down the requests. Cael had just finished ordering his meal and Mason's both (seeing as the latter of the two did not speak French and most everyone here was monolingual). The little man turned to face the woman, gesturing politely with his pen.
"Et vous, Mademoiselle?" Then he paused, catching himself. "Parlez vous Francais?" Cael turned his eyes to ((You're fired. All pronouns in the last 2 posts. uh... *scroll*)) Alyson, looking to see whether she did in fact speak or if she would need some assistance. Mason, meanwhile, was inspecting the bottle of the champagne.
((And we have just about exhausted my knowledge of the language...

"Oui, je voudrais le Filet de Saumon fumé, mais avec la sauce de miel jaune citron, plutôt alors la sauce de papaye de mangue. Aussi je voudrais l'est monté du vin que vous avez directement à cet endroit."
Alyson purred as she pointed to a nearby bottle on display, knowing they served it, as it was one of her favorite wines, however... she never recalled the name. Looking to Mason, she shook her head slowly.
" That one isn't as good as the one over there."
She purred softly, pointing to a display that was across beside Cael.
((" Yes, I'd like the smoked Salmon Fillet, but with the honey lemon sauce, rather then the mango papaya sauce. Also I would like the rose wine that you have right over there." ))

The waiter nodded, furiously scratching on the pad before nodding.
"Je vous remercie."
Mason glanced up at her.
"I know, but I didn't know what you prefer. I'm Mexican and this is a celebration. Booze is what I do."
Cael rolled his eyes.
({Thanks.))

Alyson smiled and nodded slowly.
" I'm a stripper, liquor is a good best friend. It never changes it's ways.... and I like my liquor like i like..."
Alyson bit her tongue and pointedly took a drink of the wine that was soon served to her, barely keeping a light flush off her cheeks.

Mason grinned evilly.
"Straight up and strong?"
Cael waited for the waiter to leave again, the appetizers remaining on the table. And then he reached over and whacked his roommate upside the head.
"Restraint!"

Alyson murmured a soft thank you to Cael, however she never denied the purposed statement as she drank at her wine without too much concern, then she casually turned to mason once more. ( As she'd had time to let the tension settle a bit)

Mason grinned lightly and lifted the bottle out of the ice bucket and poured her another glass.
"It's your party. You call the shots."
Cael, meanwhile was quietly observing as he picked his oysters out of the shells. Dinner had been served.

Alyson now stopped, trying to think of an appropriate word to label her job, not wanting to say "live at home stripper" , but she was falling short on job titles. Not that she was too bothered by it, but she didn't know these men's prestige, therefore didn't want to jeopardize it at the moment.

Cael sighed slightly, injecting.
"It is more of a housewarming sort of idea. Welcome to our home." The man smiled at her, not aware of what exactly she was searching for verbally.

Alyson smiled, ever so sincere and warmly at him, murmuring another thank you as she sipped her second... or maybe it was third? glass of wine, enjoying the meal immensely, quietly commenting to herself. She purred honestly, taking another long drink of her glass.
" However, this life tends to fit me better... come to think of it, why do you boys need me? It's not like neither one of you couldn't easily score something like me, for free, anyday of the week..."

Mason opened his mouth, but Cael all but literally leapt up to speak. He was not going to suffer his roommate's mistake.
"The same reason that we have vines blocking all of the entries the house. Believe it or not, people like that try and sneak in. And, believe it or not, I actually would rather make it through a full night's sleep than wake up in the middle of the night to so creeper sliding into my bed." So basically... she was a pleasant deterrent.

" I'll have you know though, msot of the outfits I wore were the club's. I only have a few of mine own, never really needed to own any, so if you were a fan of those, you'll need to acquire new."
she purred simply, not sure how to handle this as her lemon creme cake came for dessert, currently distracting herself.

Have you ever seen wine come out of someone's nose? Well now Alyson had. Mason laughed despite the burn. He looked over at Cael.
"See, I knew I liked her!" Cael was trying to hide his face as they got evil looks from the waiter. He left a rather large tip...

Alyson made probably a more offended face then the wiater as she looked between the men, and excused herself ( Leaving out cael's side, actually climbing over his lap) and left to the ladies room, returning with new shoes on, as the other ones had been ruined. Not to mention her dress was cleaned back up.
However, she silently passed btoh men and went to personally apologize ( which went over well with establishment, for obvious reasons) and then left them both inside as she went to climb into the backseat of the car.

Cael and Mason did leave the restaurant, but there was a rather conspicuous period of time where they were neither in the restaurant nor in the car...
However, the only hint was that Mason's hair was tousled a little bit as he climbed into the driver's seat with Cael's keys.
For once, he kept his mouth shut.

Alyson kept her silence as she considered her new set of shoes on her feet, looking between the two boys. She wondered if she should say a word. It didn't feel like she should, however...
" It's not me, is it?"
She didn't want to be off to that bad of a start with them.

They spoke in unison.
"No, it's him." Glare glare glare glare. Cael spoke softly.
"Apologies for any damage. We have a fantastic dry cleaner..." Mason just drove in silence.

Alyson hesitated before speaking softly.
" it'll wash fine."
she assured cael softly, lightly placing a kiss on his cheek before turning her attentions out the window. That was all she needed to know, to know to stay out of it.

They parked. Mason turned to face the girl.
"Would you like a tour of the house?" This one was earnest.
Cael opened the car door for her.

Smiling, ever so slightly, Alyson nodded as she looked to Cael, thanking him and placing another soft kiss on his cheek as she climbed from the car, she followed mason for her tour.
it was rather simple, in her opinion. very nice, and comfy, but simple. The kitchen was all wood and brick. The island in the kitchen wa brick, the oven was set in brick, the walls were brick. The cabinets looked to be straight cute from the trees and screwed together( VERY natural looking), the wood flooring continued in here as she looked over the dining room and the bamboo lamps. The library/study was nice as well, with a wall made of brick, holding boundless amounts of books, the other three walls made of natural wood, making it almost look like a log cabin on the inside, only one tiny window in the library though, unlike the huge french doors that use to lead outback in the kitchen.
Then they passed Mason's room, followed by Cael's, finally arriving upon her room. Smiling, ever so slightly, she considered Mason.
" How is this suppose to work, anyway?"
she asked causally. was she suppose to go to each room, or the living room, or what?

Cael had slunk off to his room, not feeling particularly social at the moment. This was all a disaster waiting to happen.
His bed was a huge mattress straight on the floor with little pillow rolls lining the entire thing. The sheets were a black jersey and a black down comforter. It was very cozy, even as he face planted into it. Overall, his room was very dark, which suited him fine. A heavy black drape covered the window, crisp against the navy walls. His hardwood and closet door was a deep mahogany and the ceiling was black, completely with little glow in the dark stars in actual constellation arrangements. The brightest thing in the room was a blue lamp with a rotating shade that cast dancing shadows across the wall.
Mason looked at her curiously.
"Depends on the occasion."
