What's Wrong With....? -Suri & Vynz's Origins

Suri? She tagged along in the wake, of course, actually concerned for the woman now. She might not like being accused of sleeping with someone she hadn't (Cause if she was being accused, she might as well have done it!) ... but that didn't mean she wished ill will on people.

Vynz walked into the northern part of town, and down an alley. He paused in the darkness, glancing either way. Suri had yet to turn the corner, so he didn't see her. Then, the man jumped up to the landing of the fire escape (which had no ladder). He walked up the rickety metal stairs and then slid open a window, climbing in with Vy.

The building had looked rather crumbly and broken down from the outside, and in truth at one point it had been abandoned. Evynna had bought it out and rennovated the top floor into an awesome loft. Her sense of style was starkly different from Vynz's.

The man carried her to her bed, putting her down. Then, the barkeep upbuttoned the cuff of his shirt, rolling up the sleeve and proceeding to let her feed from the inside of his elbow. If he had noticed Suri, he sure hadn't made it obvious.

Would suri really have lived this long if she was not well informed on how to make herself unseen and silent? Undetected, even. So the fact she was now able to watch and not be seen or cared about, was no surprise. she was curious and concerned. More concerned, believe it or not.

Vynz stayed bent over her for a while before withdrawing his arm. The man stood up at this point, walking into the kitchen. He washed away the remnants, then he wet down a cloth. For how much they did whatever for or against each other, the man showed that they were in fact siblings and cared about each other.

He walked over, washing off the blood from her face before covering her up. The man then moved to the counter for a moment, just standing there and rubbing his temple. Then, he opened her cabinets, mixed a drink for her and set it on her bedside table. He considered the bottle for a long moment before putting it back and slipping out once more.

Not a word, but who was he supposed to talk to?

Suri slipped into the room, lookinf over Vy, considering her for a small while, and then followed back after vynz, dropping down and tapping him on the shoulder, eyebrow raising, but otherwise unmoving as he half growled, and nearly smacked her to the ground.

" Yeah yeah, don't sneak up on a vampire. Is she okay?"

Vynz's fingers uncurled from her clothing slowly, and he stared at her for a long moment.

"Repeat your question."

She echoed, rolling her eyes at the fingers that let her go. Come on, she just went with you on this stupid quest thing. she STILL has Rose-butt in a jar in her magic hold ( as this is where she chose to stick said jar) and could easily let her go...

Vynz again gave a long pause before speaking, staring at lips.

"I think she was closer than I was. But, obviously, she was not meant to die. She just has an internal head wound."

Vynz just stared at her. Then, he rubbed the bridge of his nose for a long moment. Alright. Fine.

Vynz considered her for a long moment, but then he shook his head. He could have explained but... the man didn't. He turned his head to the side, smelling the air that he breathed. He wanted something to eat. Vynz considered this for a moment. Without his hearing, however, it would be hard to charm or even compel someone into letting him. So... he might have to go eat some nasty vermin. The man wrinkled his nose at the thought.

"Thanks, new girl."

He walked away.

Vynz paused for a moment, glancing over his shoulder. He flashed her a grin and a wink.

Don't worry about me. If nothing else, I'm good at surviving.

He hadn't failed at it yet. >.><.<

Do not think of it that way.

She purred, twisting her wrist before placing her hands upon his ears for half a second before wondering off. It was temporary, but it would grant him hearing. Stubborn males.

Vynz just took it. Then, after he ate, the man moved to go sit in the local park instead of going home. He had a churning feeling in the pit of his stomach. That was never good. Ever.

Suri could feel the tension in the air, and could careless, even as she elbowed Lyn for his snoring. Not a room in any place in town, so she'd let them bunk with her. His sister had the trundle to herself while lyn had 'been the man' and shared the bed with her. :rolleyes:

It was good that Vynz did this, as he was soon confronted with an actual fight. Well, that was overstating it a little. The man caught the manipulation of the Bokor and took it home. However, he had already lost his hearing again. So, as he sat on the counter, looking at the creature trapped in a circle of river stones in the middle of his living room, Vynz was racking his brain, summoning up what he could remember about Bokors.

Lyn grumbled, snorting as he half woke up.

"Go back to sleep."

That's what he was doing.

Vynz eventually left the house - the animation still there. The man could be found in the bar, tending this and that in the quiet before it opened up. He was wearing a t-shirt that he had scrawled on in permanent marker (both front and back):

Suri teased, half laying over the bar to steal her cherries, seeming slightly... off. She'd given up on sleeping with Lyn. Once upon a time it had worked, but then again... Yeah... They were friends, nuttin more. But still, you know, that school was in the middle of nowhere, and they were both adults with too much to drink. For those that cared to know though, that was THE ONLY way ANYONE would ever be able to share a bed with that man!!! he was WAY to mean >.<

Suri purred dryly, looking up at him as she held up a vial absently.

well, she'd just admitted she had a thirst for the leeches XD But that was already out thanks to lyn.

Vynz caught it easily, stashing it. Then, he reached over the bar and tucked the monetary compensation into the collar of her shirt. It was harmless. He flashed her a playful grin.

Suri looked at him with a weird half frown, half glare.

She informed him, and for his antics, his shirt now read

On front, and back. In Sparkling, PINK, neon flashing stuff, and everything.

Vynz looked down, and his vague smile faded. He gave her a stern look of reproach.

I was just teasing you. That was uncalled for.

He then pulled the thing off, threw it in the trash, and walked straight out of the bar. Pfft. Sorceresses. What to do with them?

well, to be fair, the imaging faded about five minutes later, and the money was back in Vynz's pocket. She'd successfully distracted him. Which is why she was now upstairs, ontop of Lyn, pretending to 'ride' him in an attempt to wake him. Of course she was fully clothed and such, his sister was in the shower.

Yeah, well, whatever. It wasn't like Vynz was hard up for it. And the shirt was tossed either way.

Lyn groaned at her attempt to wake him.

"I don't wanna get up."

However, he did anyhow. The guy opened one eye and then the other.

"You're a menace."

But, he wasn't actually insulting her. It was one of those things you know, like how siblings can hate each other without hating each other.

She taunted, smacking her butt cutely before hopping off of him and pushing him into the floor, reclaiming her bed eagerly.

" Your mean when you sleep

You steal the covers, and snore, and flop about, and steal the covers, and don't share the bed, and steal the covers... and you tried to freakin hump my leg in my sleep! ... AND YOU STOLE THE COVERS!"

" As for the size... I normally like about twenty more square feet. But, it's nice."

She purred, liking the cozy feel. She was getting ready to remodel. Oh, the looks she would get. Oh well, like ANYONE cared.

Lyn shrugged, watching as Leena came out. She was wearing the same crumpled clothes she had been with a sigh. She looked at the two of them, gave a small smile and then skulked out.

"Whatever floats your boat."

The man watched the door shut, shaking his hea.d
