Cael was laying there rather casually and comfortably, just lounging... until he looked at the clock.

"CRAP!"

And then he jumped out of bed, running about and jerking clothes on.

She asked, rather depressed he was rushing out afterwords.

Whoosh into the next room so that his words were lost. He rushed back to grab his keys and wallet.

"...to go or I'll..."

Out to get the shoes. In, strangely to kiss her goodbye?

"...later."

Alyson happily took the good bye kiss, smiling up at him. She could handle that arrangement.

Not a word. Two and a half months later. She hadn't heard one way or the other from these two men, of course she was not the sort to push. she'd put it on the table, plain as day once. That's all she'd do. Hence why she'd tentatively lined up other work. She was well off, so it wasn't a finance thing. it was merely a happiness thing. another reason she'd taken to packing up her things.

They were out more too recently. It was odd. It wasn't like their home routine changed, she wondered around nude half the time, simply because she could! They seemed to like it, actually >.> However, now all good things come to an end, and this was why, contract end day, Alyson was sulking in her room, slowly forcing herself to get up and locate her missing shoe.

Slipping her shoes on, the little woman tossed her brush into her last bag, and sighed. Alright, big girl. Just a job... but she liked these two

....

Shaking her head she forced herself to stop sulking, and walk out her bedroom door. a deal was a deal.

Mason was sitting in the kitchen, flipping through something. He watched Alyson, but he didn't say anything - at least not at first.

"Come have some breakfast."

Yes, he prepared it, so it was a poptart and a glass of OJ.

"So, what are you looking at doing now?"

He didn't mean today. He meant onward.

Cael wasn't in the house at the moment.

Alyson sat down, taking the juice, ignoring the poptart.

" Pardon? Oh, job, well, I kind of intend to stay in my profession."

She pointed out, shaking her head.

" I've had offers to do bachelor parties, another live in thing, go back to the club..."

She did not state what or which was appealing.

She replied honestly, nodding.

Mason opened his mouth now, but then he stopped as he heard the front door open. Cael walked in and they shared a look. Whatever the thief had been about to say was forgotten. The other man walked over, putting down a paper box on the table. ((those things have so many uses! <3))

"Morning."

Mason seemed to be waiting for something. Cael nodded, and slowly a huge grin worked across his face.

Alyson smiled at Cael, absently sipping at her orange juice. If it were Mason grinning, she'd not be worried, but it was Cael, which induced a slight frown. That absolutely was always suspicious. Even when she'd earned them... Oh dear, her 'let go' day and they were going to crisco the front porch or something.

Mason watched Cael for a moment, and then he just nodded, returning to eating breakfast. Apparently, he had gleaned whatever he was looking for.

Cael, meanwhile, leaned on the paper box (and thus on the table). The man then looked at Alyson.

"Today I got my acceptance letter. They've approved my dissertation and awarded me my doctorate. I have an offer for a professorship and/or a research developer complete with grants."

Now Alyson did lose her composure, and jumped up, leaning over and hugging him eagerly.

" Congrats!"

she purred, kissing him eagerly, giggling.

" I am happy for you <3"

Cael grinned lightly.

"Yeah. Look at this stuff."

He opened the box, pulling out some framed certificates and things, laying them out on the table. There was a bound copy of his dissertation, some letters, and just stuff. He showed it all to her happily, eventually picking up a smaller bunch of papers (probably about five sheets) that held a lot less fanfare. They were just stapled in the corner and printed in plain black font. He handed this to Alyson now.

"And that is for you to consider. You will find some differences."

A contract proposal? Let's play spot the differences. Well, there were a couple little things, but the key one was that this was written indefinite - a month to month gig like a regular job. Either party was obligated to give a month notice for termination.

Alyson actually gave pause to this contract, sitting down as she read over it not once, but twice, eyes wondering over the pair of men. it was definitely hard to pin what was running through her mind at the moment as she moved where she sat, glancing off.

She seemed rather intently thinking on something as she eventually fished out her phone, absently pressing in a few numbers before hitting the call button. Whatever was said, was said in french, and the tiny smile that tugged at the woman's lips as she was finished, was amazing.

Well, she sort of uncoiled upon the to, both earned a rather sweet bit of kissing out of the deal before she suddenly sighed.

" Does your ned job mean we're moving?"

Cause if it did, she'd leave her things packed.

Mason by this point had moved off to the living room, sitting down and watching tv. Cael had migrated into the kitchen was fishing for some breakfast, as he had skipped his this morning (except for a cup of coffee). It was just a proposition. There was no point in eagle-eying her.

Now, though, Cael looked up from his bowl of cereal and where he was pouring another cup of coffee.

"No. That was part of why we had to wait so long to give you that. We had to wait and see what came down the pipeline from this."

After a minute or two more the contract (unsigned) was sat down, even as she moved to block Cael's attempt at eating, moving to kiss him, her legs actually ended up wrapped about his waist as she smiled up at him.

" I'd have moved with you, if allowed, you know. I am not attached to any real location, just the men."

She informed him honest and softly.

Cael had her placed on the counter. The man glanced at the contract, his eyebrows lifting. Okay, she didn't have to stay, they wouldn't try to make her, but... Not signing was in conflict with her actions. He considered her face now.

"Then what are you not pleased with?"

She was free to just say no... She didn't have to 'let them down easy' or whatever.

Their was a brief flash of confusion, then it dawned on her and she smiled.

" Oh, the contract... I ... "

You could tell this went against ever single instinct in the woman was she weaseled the words out of herself.

" I'll sign it if that matters to you. But.. I do not need it, personally."

"Then is the new payment arrangement alright?"

Monthly as opposed to quarterly?

Alyson sighed.

" I do not need the money."

She eventually stated, shaking her head, looking up at him.

" I enjoy my work more then normal with you two. It does not feel like work. I have found people who are alright with what I do, and see me was more then an object. Consider room and board my payment."

She continued, letting her legs drop.

Cael actually exchanged looks with Mason, who had muted the television and turned around backwards to look at the scene he was listening to. Mason was the one that called out to her.

"What were you waiting for?"

They were making this much more difficult then the woman intended, and she was starting to regret being hoenst with the pair in the first place.

" Pardon?"

she asked, looking over Cael, glancing towards where Mason was. more difficult by the moment. she'd been an outcast from family, with very little real 'friends' ...*ahemthesetwoonlyahem* and she liked that feeling of having someone. Of course, she would gladly leave if they wanted. She'd sign the contract, or whatever else... but honestly, they were getting a minor snap shot of how she felt.

Yeah, that's what she'd thought. Like she'd really ever needed the funds. But she wasn't about to seem like an overly clingy puppy dog, either, and beg to stick around...

" ... The rule about having me leave still needs to apply though. Getting into a new place takes that long, minimum."

She purred gently, moving to kiss Cael, leaving it at that as she smiled at him.

" Plans for today?"

It happened to be her birthday, she was not going to tell them that, she just intended to take them to the party if they were not busy.. not to mention, Cael deserved to celebrate

Alyson seemed to like this and looked over the two men. she'd learned a few things from the boys while living with them, hence why she now hopped over to Mason and leaned over the back to the chair, kissing at his neck.

" I won't take you unless you behave."

She stated simply, waiting for consent. Or dismissal. She would have no hurt feelings either way

Rolling her eyes, she moved to her bag in the kitchen, tossing something at him, and then another outfit at Cael.

" Then the two of you need to change. "

She purred simply, wondering off with the bag back to her room, slipping into a new outfit, smirking to herself as she brushed her hair back.

wondering out in her outfit, smiling at the two boys, not explaining as she merely lead out the door, having somehow managed to swipe the car keys from Mason. Once again, learning.

At some point they ended up outside a building that looked forgotten. For those that cared to know, it seemed to be forever to get there, a solid three hour drive. The sun was setting when they got there.

Walking inside the building, however, would cause an explosion of cheering and noise, and a few giggles from Alyson herself. Rock on Rocking, costume birthday party

Alyson flitted into the mayhem, actually sticking relatively close to the boys, smiling happily as she moved to kiss each without hesitation, rolling her eyes at the hollers and cheers. They ranged from the ' yeah bro' for the guys to ' go birthday girl ' ... Alyson didn't care, already having a drink in her hand, and assuring herself the boys did as well.

" sorry to spring drinks and cake on you."

She giggled.

They did a background check on her before hiring her.

She asked it back in a whisper, just cause the looks were fun, and she even scored a playful flush before she moved and pounced Cael.

Not possessive, just teasing. .... well, actually, she could be pretty damned possessive. But, they'd covered that. He'd give her a heads up before he did something like that. Er... seek interest in another woman, not having sex with a woman

Alyson giggled a bit more, kissing him again before wondering off to the balcony above. Oh, the crowd diving was fun. Soon everyone was getting into it. Who wouldn't? The girls that were diving were barely clothed. The potential for 'wardrobe malfunction' was bound to happen eventually- and your catching their body with your hands!

Alyson called it quits where she wasn't sure the hand that had copped a feel, knowing it not to be a pair of hands she was OK with something like that happening with.

Then came the birthday cake. Dude, the girls were doing the 'bunny hop' in a circle about the bunny cake. These girls were having too much fun with Alyson on her birthday

Cael and Mason both were hanging and cheering with the males. The entire room exploded into laughter and cheers as the DJ mixed, scratching out the bunny hop music and into a song great for the clear separation - everyone sang along, hamming it up.

Well, Alyson was thrilled with the party, and the gift she got from one of the girls, gleefully rocking it out until she was sitting in the middle of a drunken (female only) make session where the girl never seemed to know which person she was suppose to be kissing, so they sort of flitted about the group.

Alyson eventually was trying to get out though. Men worked better for things above and beyond kissing, and that would be why Alyson was soon climbing onto Mason's back, giggling uncontrolably.

" I kissed a girl, and I liked it."

Alyson leaned over and did so without a hint of reservation, fingers clawing into his shirt to keep from rolling off of him.

" I kissed a Mason. I liked it. Where is my Cael? I wanna like him too..."

well, that was easy, as she tugged herself up, not quite as drunk as Mason, moving to kissing Cael, giggling.

" Oh, I really like that."
