I Didn't Think It Would Happen Like This

Ansel chuckled, reaching to pull the Fae to him, kissing both women.

"I'm pretty sure I'm readily able to find the best places around.... but I'm always down to see what else is offered. "

He answered without shame. Who needed to leave the house?

[Sushi]

"no, I think you should have answer my question. This is... This is..."

Never mind. Completely distracted by wandering hands.

[Tree]

Ansel was certainly pleased with his breakfast meal. He got to eat like a king and was not even remotely worried about anything beyond the four walls. Well, really he wasn't even worried about anything beyond his arms as he cradled both women on his chest.

/ Is it possible you've been this .... driven the whole time? /

He asked his wife, petting her hair.

/ Or, are you like..... siphoning my drive? /

He asked, seeming pleased but harmless. He was just letting his mind wonder while his body basked.

[Sushi]

/I think I would have noticed being a sex-starved hairpin trigger before now./

Willow looked up at him.

/But... You don't feel like you're on before me./

At least, not all the time.

Ansel looked away, pushing back the small tow of embarrassment.

/I tried to throttle myself back a tiny bit... and I tried to split my attentions up to keep from overwhelming you .. /

But this was stronger than he was accustomed to.

[Sushi]

Willow blanched and she grabbed at him suddenly.

/I wasn't saying that you were a sex-starved weirdo! I was saying that's what I feel like right now. I feel like I'm acting crazy./

Taylor reached over and rubbed her back as she kissed at Ansel.

"Take it easy you two."

[Tree]

Ansel sighed, kissing the top of Taylor's head and then Willow's.

"I am OK, love. .... you're very close to feelings that are normally kept close."

He explained, nuzzling into her hair.

/ I'm alright. I don't normally tell people when I'm embarrassed. /

Actually, until now, had she even known he had that feeling?

[Sushi]

Willow gave him a squeeze.

/I know you don't. Don't worry, I wouldn't give away your secrets. I wanted you to know I wasn't digging at you. I just... I don't know what to do./



Taylor slid out of the bed.

"Mind if I use your shower?"

[Tree]

Ansel shook his head.

/ I'll try not to come sabotage your efforts in hygiene./

[Sushi]

Taylor laughed and flipped her hand at him before going off.



Willow hooked a leg around one of his.

/I can't decide if I'm bothering you or not./

[Tree]

Ansel looked to his wife.

/ Not. I like sex, you know, if you couldn't tell. ..... I'm also wondering if she'd be carry on baggage or checked baggage if we just brought her home. /

It was casual musing. Willow wanted nothing but casual so he was going to respect it. But he liked seeing his wife happy.... he rather enjoyed the dynamic layer she added to his relationship the last 24hrs.

[Sushi]

/don't do that./

Willow poked him.

/You have enough money to put her in a proper seat./

Ansel's eyes turned from ceiling to her face to see exactly how serious she was about her comment. Was this good natured joking, or was his lovely wife actually considering a live in girlfriend, too?

/We have enough money. /

But he was still trying to puzzle that other bit out.

[Sushi]

/that's what I just said?/

Willow could best be described as ambivalent. She had never really cared that much about him bringing women in or out of his house. Most of her thoughts right now had drifted back to said house, though, kicking up worry like dust.

Ansel shifted, hands grabbing her hips and sitting her properly on his chest, hugging her into him.

/ Easy. Everything is fine. Would you like to call them to check on them? /

He asked softly, kissing at her softly.

[Sushi]

Willow shook her head a little as she looked down at him.

/Will you still love me when we get there?/

/ Yes. /

He answered easily, reaching to cup her face with his hands, pulling her in to kiss him.

/ I will always love you. /

[Sushi]

/even after Suri explodes your house?/

[Tree]

Now Ansel couldn't help but laugh.

"She did turn the towels into sticky fruit things. "

Fruit roll ups.

"But the kids were delighted? ..... I don't think she'll do us harm on purpose so long as I don't make her feel threatened in her access to you....."

He reached to brush a thumb along his wife's hip.

" Willow.... I know what baby vampires are like. It's nothing worrisome except for her skill set...."

He loved you. Suri was growing on him, but it was a slow process. She had made Willow happy at one point, so he was willing to move forward if that could be restored for her

[Sushi]

Willow rested her hands on his chest.

"It is for me."

Except it wasn't worry she was feeling right now so much as disappointment and a bone-deep loneliness.

"I know you have good judgement, so I believe you about her threat level. But I'm also very aware that no one can be trusted."

[Tree]

Ansel softened, sitting up to cradle her in against his chest.

"You don't have to stay lonely, my lovely wife. You can ask her to come with us if you'd like? "

He offered, nodding towards the bathroom. He was giving her room if she wished to change her mind. He understood that it was a fluid circumstance at this point.

" I'm certain you and Suri can mend things if you're wanting it. I know you seemed happy to have her once upon a time...."

He smiled gently.

"I'm part of you now, so maybe I don't count, but I'm here, too....... and.... it's ok to give space for trust. Time will prove those worth it. "

[Sushi]

Willow closed her eyes and rested her cheek to his, accepting his current attentions.

"You had to wait so long before I really got why you were telling me to stay away from people. Why are you changing your mind now?"

Confused, not critical.

[Tree]

Ansel smiled.

"Because it took me this long to learn that people are worth the risk. Thank you. "

Without her, he might never have figured it out.

[Sushi]

Willow sighed with regret, glancing towards the bathroom.

"But I'm not a person," she reminded him quietly.

"So it always ends the same when I'm involved. Just look at Suri, Iris, or the ladies if you want some recent examples."

[Tree]

Ansel adjusted them both, shaking his head

/ We've also being going through a very, very hard transitioning time with stress and strain piled on top. We can't take on the blame when the situation was set up to be a fail. There's much to grow from the rubble.... just have to take the time to water it, my love. /

He soothed, snuggling her and effortlessly reassuring her.

Willow didn't know how she felt about that. It was complicated.

"So I was thinking," Taylor remarked as stepped out, "I could show you the local watering hole for supernaturals. You won't find it in a guidebook. We're generally tired of people stomping all over our stuff in search of fairies and discounted kilts."

She pulled half of her shoulder length platinum hair into ponytail and tucked her blouse in halfway.

"It's neutral ground so a bunch of fae from all kinds of castes hang out there and nobody'll give you any kind of trouble."

She slid her bangles back on.

"Interested?"

Ansel lightly caught Willow's chin in newish his thumb and forefinger, pulling her to kiss him.

/ Wanna do it? /

He asked her, interested himself but willing to stay behind if she'd rather. He thought she'd really enjoy it, though.

[Sushi]

/I can go if you want./

She wasn't panicking about the situation, anyway. At most, she was internally chastising the thread of curiosity that had poked its head up at the suggestion.

Ansel shifted, kissing her a couple times.

"Darling. Curiosity is good. "

He encouraged, pressing little kisses along her jaw before slowly rising up to work on cleaning and dressing himself.

[Sushi]

Willow shook her head in disagreement.

"That's how trouble starts."

But she went to shower now too.

"My clothes are all dirty..."

She stood wearing the newly acquired undies and cardigan, looking mournfully at the four options with varying levels of grime.

"I could fix that if you want?" Taylor asked the two of them offhandedly, glancing up from her phone.

Ansel glanced to the Fae from his wife.

/ Are we freely offering? /

It was kind and soft toned, as he really didn't suspect that it was anything else. But to be fair she was a Fae and it was common knowledge to be careful.

[Sushi]

Taylor stuck out her tongue.

"Spoilsport."

She uncrossed her legs and stood up, walking over to Willow.

"I'll set you up with a new outfit - a Taylor-made original - in exchange for..."

She circled Willow first and then Ansel, gaze both appraising and suggestive at the same time.

"There are just so many OPTIONS."

She enjoyed dipping into their space and adjusting things they were wearing a little, purely for the sake of flirting.

"I tell you what. I'll make it easy on you. In exchange for the outfit, you can pay for anything I want to eat or drink while we're at the bar tonight."

Ansel smiled at her a bit.

"Food and drink only. "

He agreed with a smile at his wife. That was effortless.

[Sushi]

"it's a deal."

Taylor offered her hand to him for a shake, and Willow was still processing what had just happened when Taylor was suddenly by her side.

"So... Which one of those do you like the least?"

Willow's eyes widened with a trill of excitement as Taylor flicked the fabric as though trying to shake out wrinkles only for the color to change in her hands. That was so cool!

"Hmm... Still so many options."

Taylor seemed much more focused when she said it this time.

"Well, if you're going out, you might as well go OUT."

In a few seconds, Willow was wearing a new outfit that Taylor plucked at until it fit her just right. The fae stepped back with an assessing glance before whistling with appreciation.

"Simple and comfy but still sexy. You're adorable in the soft colors, but, girl, you rock black like you mean business."

Willow glanced at Ansel for his opinion. Sure, it fit their outing, but black was usually his gig.

Ansel had a slow, sly grin across his face as he crossed the space to kiss his wife now.

"You're so lovely. "

He shared, reaching to pull Taylor right over in a rather appreciative kiss for her, too. This was going to be a grand day if he had any day.

"Let's go before I see what magics this lady can work with other things. "

He urged, using delicate touch to guide both woman outside. If he stayed inside he'd not leave these women dressed for long.

[Sushi]

"that speck of glamour? Psh, nothing on what I can really do."

Taylor made a show of brushing a fleck of lint off her shoulder like nothing before she glanced over the vehicle in the driveway.

"Nice. I'll drive."

She held out her hand for the keys.

[Tree]

Ansel glanced over Taylor and smiled to himself.

"Maybe...."

He commented to himself, kissing her and placing the keys in her hand before climbing into the back seat with Willow.

He was happy to love on his wife now, lightly petting her hair as his mind wondered.

[Sushi]

She tossed the keys up and caught them again.

"No maybe about it."



Willow eased as he cuddled her.

"I don't think I've ever been in the car with a girl driving before."

Taylor flashed a grin at them in the rearview.

"Sit back and enjoy the ride."

"Careful. I'll ruin all your hard work if you encourage me like that. "

Ansel joked, smiling at his wife without worries.

"It'll be fine. I'm sure. She wouldn't want your loveliness marred in any way. "

He meant it genuinely. He loved every little piece of his wife.

[Sushi]

Willow batted at him lightly with the cuff of her sleeve.

"I wasn't worried about that. I was just commenting that it was unusual."

"You don't drive?"

"Me? No?"
