Marina's eyes softened slightly as she looked him over.

" I don't hear those things from anyone anymore, since I was whisked away in the first place. If I don't hear them from someone, how can I know those kind of feelings are there?"

She asked gently as she slowly stripped.

" ..... I love you... but I need a little bit here and there."

Ephriam sighed slightly and pulled the tie out of her hair for her.

"I forget sometimes..." He gestured to the water.

"Is that the right temperature for you?" Probably not. He never seemed to get that right.

Marina looked at him as she touched the water, nodding as she looked to him.

" Try a bit to remember?"

she asked gently, looking him over. Really, he was starting to cause self-esteem issues at the rate he was going. He needed to watch that one.

Ephriam just sighed slightly and gave her a half-smile, letting his cool hand slide down her warm arm and his fingers intertwine with hers.

"I will, and it is there - even if I forget." He stepped into the shower, holding open the glass pane for her. The man gently tugged on Marina's hand.

following him in, she looked him over, keeping her hands to herself ( as always, even if she was tempted) as she moved about to locate the fragrance of soap she liked.

Okay, so this shower wasn't the biggest. The hardware was really old as well. In fact, it looked like it might have been around since indoor plumbing had been invented.

"Um... Pardon me?" Ephriam stood there, coated in soap and looking at how he wasn't getting any of the water. The man awkwardly sidled up beside her, trying to get his head into the shower.

Marina looked at him, thinking he had lost his mind. They'd showered in that tiny corner shower together once, where there was hardly room for one, and they both crammed in, of course she had to move for him to rinse. Keeping comments to herself... ( ranging from ' big baby' to ' well duh' ) as she lathered up a bit, she kept her eyes on her toes. She had a new question for pet Jethro.

Ephriam coughed lightly. He thought that his phrasing didn't deserve the look he had gotten, but okay. Next time he would just tell her to move. Well, not really. But it was a nice thought. Ephriam backed up after he was de-soaped, leaving room for her. As he waited, he amused himself with poking the dimple on the back of Marina's shoulder. Obviously he wasn't completely de-happified.

Marina glanced back at him as the soap suds rinsed off her body, falling down her curves and pooling in the bottom bellow, eyes now wondering ephriam. And I keep my hands to myself.

Marina turned completely around once clean and considered his naked form openly, keeping comments to herself, that question for Jethro becoming more important as she leaned over and kissed his cheek lightly. I suppose I could ask him... but it's kind of rude...

Ephriam smiled at her, glancing over her body too. His smile widened slightly and he gave her a little kiss on the mouth in return.

Marina laughed softly, tilting her head to the side, considering him as her arms lightly slid to wrap about his waist.

" ... Lovely, I can ask whatever I want, right?"

Ephriam curled his long arms around her shoulders.

"Always." He looked down into her eyes, little chill bumps raising over his skin as her warmth soaked into it.

Marina smiled at seemed to be hesitant with this question, however... Resting her forehead ( so she didn't have to watch the face she was about to get) she spoke gently, knowing how this could come across.

" Are you a virgin?"

The man cleared his throat, but otherwise he maintained his composure. That was rather blunt.

"No." And a simple answer. He didn't turn it around, though. After all, he had stalked her for forever. He knew the answer.

she was actually praying for that answer. He'd been around for hundreds of years... if he hadn't had some in that time frame.... yikes

Ephriam glanced at her, deciding not expound on that one any more. However, he was hoping that it wouldn't be a trip up, so he did gently prod.

"Surely you did not expect anything else? I am as old as dirt it would make sense to be as pure as such."

Ephriam glanced to the side and then let go of her. Unfortunately (and quite strangely if you think about it) that was not one of his most pleasant memories.

"Things happen." He opened the towel closet to find that it was empty.

"Oh." Oops? He looked at the dirty towel on the floor and sighed slightly. That would be no good.

"Let me go get you a towel..."

Confused, she considered him.

" explain."

His mistake for offering her any answer she wanted.

With that near demand, she simply took his hand and wondered out of the room to get some clean towels. .... it wouldn't be the first time Jethro had walked in on her, either.

Ephriam gave a long sigh, reaching up and wiping water from where it was trying to drip off the end of his nose.

"Are you going to get mad at me?" He opened a door to a walk-in linen closet.

" Everyone across the globe who watched ' Elizabeth's Diaries' watched me have sex for the first time. I can honestly say I regret it, but I was foolish. I doubt I have room to get cross with you."

She informed him softly.

Ephriam's expression softened as he turned to hands her a soft green towel from a shelf in the closet.

"I was extremely irritable right after I became a vampire. I did everything I could to spite my old way of life, quite literally tearing through a handful of girls." As he sopped the water out of his hair and draped the towel around himself, Ephriam looked at her with that same gentle look. Truth be told, no girl he had ever slept with made it through the night. It made him nervous about Marina...

" I understand. ... You were the epitome of a real vampire."

She informed him simply, hugging herself to him.

She informed him as she looked him over.

" Because your mine now. to torment and enjoy."

She informed him, smiling a bit more.

The man turned as she tugged on his arm. He gave her the patience he had been working up for years. He knew that this billion questions would come.

"Honestly? Marina, I am worried that I might kill you."

Marina looked taken back as she heard his answer, considering him for a moment. She wanted to ask another question, but decided better of it as she spoke slowly.

" I'd prefer die by the hand of my lover, then by the hands of this world."

She tried to explain, moving to him, kissing him again.

" we'll be alright."

Watching him pull back, she stopped him and reached over and ran her hands over his lips gently, and into his mouth. Curiosity would probably end up killing ehr if she wasn't careful.

Ephriam didn't fight her off, but he did stay absolutely still for a moment. Even when spoke, he did it without moving his jaw.

"Cahul, air hark." And it was true. His teeth were very sharp. The man held his breath.

Marina hadn't really cared, hence why her fingers were already knicked before he had time to warn her, too curious to worry about what could happen from the taste of her blood filling his mouth from her bleeding fingers, merely trying to understand at the moment. he was something different then here, after all.

Ephriam's sucked in a breath, and his mouth closed around her fingers immediately - a reflex. His fingers closed around her wrists firmly. He squeezed his eyes shut and his nostrils flared. Yup. Way to go Marina.

Marina shifted so she was standing more comfortable.

" Easy now."

She said gently, nuzzling him, knowing self control with all of this was challenging, at the least for him, if not down right near impossible... However, despite his death grip upon her wrist, she gently worked free after a while. Sure they were very small cuts, and the blood he'd taken was minimal, but it was more the fact that the way he was holding her wrist had hurt.

Ephriam had listened to her, and had tried very very hard. That was why he had sucked on the existing little cuts in her fingers as opposed to actually biting her. He had been working on it too, her words and gestures a huge help to the man.

The vampire turned his head to the side as her fingers worked free from his mouth, and released her wrists. He clenched his fists, took a couple deep breaths, and then opened the colorless, red-rimmed eyes.

"Sorry..."

Ephriam sighed, reaching out to her hands gently.

"I suppose I was not quite as full as I thought." The man stuck his finger in his mouth, pulling it out coated in saliva which he brushed across the skin. It was much less attractive and not quite as effective that way, but stilll...
