Sighing, a small little sad look taking over her face, she actually cuddled to the snake, closing her eyes and slipping to sleep.

Lot was out in a blissful sort of way.

But they also say that ignorance is bliss. As the weather outside dumped buckets of rain on manor, the main front door creaked open and then shut. It was timid, though, like someone not wanting to be heard.

Now awake, Victoria was wondering through the house, looking to the door, wondering why the front door was open, recalling it being specifically being locked....

" Oh, wonderful."

She muttered to herself as she moved about the house, now seeming to be on egde, choosing not to go get her master, as he didn't seem to take her in his room too well.

There was a soft pattering of footsteps as the intruder made its way down the hall and through the house. It knew the house apparently, but paused by the door to the formal living room. Everything was still strewn about in there, and it was fascinating.

After a while, victoria wasn't enjoying looking over her shoulder, so she silently made her way into her master's room, smiling as she watched him sleep, hesitating to wake him now. He did look so peaceful asleep.....

Lot opened his eyes, his gaze setting on the girl. He blinked a few times and then it hit him. The man sat up straight and then bent further forward, the black bedding entangling him as he struggled to keep it together looking at Elizabeth.

"What?"

" Someone, or something, is in the house... other then us.. Ilford, and that thing downstairs..."

Victoria ventured slowly, looking him over, glad he'd woken so she didn't have to do it.

" The front door was locked after the guests left... and it was open when I went into the livingroom, and the house feels off... Like someone's still here."

She explained softly, not liking the look she was getting, wanting to hide. It wasn't her fault.

Lot sighed slightly. He couldn't take it anymore, speaking through gritted teeth.

"Fine." And then he got up, moving in a jerky manner as he headed for the door to the bathroom.

Victoria winced and looked down, swallowing hard. WHY do MEN have to be such dicks sometimes?

Without letting herself answer that question, she simply stared at the bathroom door, considering staying up here, as it seemed safest.

Lot turned around and quite carefully locked the bathroom door. And then he bent double with discomfort and promptly began to puke his guts out. It was kind of like a hangover, except a million times worse.

Hearing him throwing, Victoria winced and wrote his bad mood off immediately, looking about his room now, thinking it safe to actually take things in as she slowly wondered... just a little bit.

About five minutes later, Lot was laying on the cool tile of the floor, waiting for his headache to ease with closed eyes. He could hear the girl moving about, but all he really cared about for the minute was mouthwash. A lot of mouth wash.

after a while, Victoria stopped at his bed, fingers running over the silk like sheets, sighing inwardly. Those even felt like heaven.... Without restraint at the moment, as she thought she was safe, she found herself setting on the bed.

That was about the time that Lot opened the bathroom door, a faint smell of spearmint drifting about him. The man's eyes snapped to Elizabeth sitting on his satin sheets, his black quilt slipping off onto the floor. His shoulders tensed, and his adam's apple lurched as he swallowed hard.

victoria's gaze actually took a while, as she was staring, fascinated at a clock on the wall, as it not only had minute and hour hands, but second, day, and month hands as well... it was... Impressive.

Lot forced himself to ungrit his teeth. He even made himself walk closer, eyes following her stare to the clock.

"Made that myself." He wasn't going to say it. He was going to hold his tongue. He was going to be quiet.

Victoria purred softly, eyes locked on it still, only prying away when she realized he was closer, turning to look at him.

Lot just looked at it for a long time. That had been the very first thing that he had made. It hadn't been a real highlight in his life, not that there were many to begin with. He hadn't left the manor that year at all. He had just spent his time the same - toiling away on the intricacies of that clock. Everything from the hand carved vines on the wooden frame to the cog mechanisms to the crafted hands.

"I tinker. Now get up." Lot reached for the quilt on the floor.

Lot just stood there and watched for a minute.

"Let's go see about your ghost." Somehow his words were stiff too as he reached for the trapdoor, holding it open for her. But don't be mistaken. It wasn't a gentlemanly gesture. He wanted her out.

Victoria slowly moved from the room, and carefully down the stairs. She didn't like how he was acting about this, but glad he was willing to check, none the less, leading back downstairs.

The door closed the door gently and plodded down. He walked through the hallways in a slow manner as though expecting something. Lot walked down and then up, eventually passing the front door. He walked past the living room and the closet. He went on before stopping abruptly. The man held up a finger to Elizabeth. His eyes shifted to the door to a bathroom door and then he reached out. Quickly he threw it open and slipped in. And then he was holding a woman in a hospital gown by the upper arm.

"I don't appreciate trespassers." He glared down at Anna.

Victoria laughed softly when she saw the woman, and actually looked like she wanted a piece of the lady in question, a small spark lighting up in her eyes as she took in the woman, looking as if she could beat the person down right where she was held. I thought I was letting that go... guess not.... then again, at least I get laid....

Anna was wiggling in Lot's grasp, which only made him tighten his hold on her.

"You... Agh." He wrinkled his nose and then just shoved her forward so that she splayed across the floor at Elizabeth's feet.

"There's your rat. Get it out of my house."

Elizabeth looked to her master, nodding slightly and moved to punch the woman square in the jaw, watching her head spin about slightly, a grin of satisfaction running over her face as she casually slip down and proceeded to beat her into a nice little bloody mess and then dragged her all the way to the tree lined edge and tossed her into the woods, telling her something to the effect of ' Sucks to get your ass kicked by Candy, huh?' as she left the woman a sad heep on the ground, wondering inside to clean up her mess, wondering why her master had given her such a go at the woman... That was merely too much fun.

The man had been slightly surprised by Elizabeth's brutality, though not really bothered. However, the blood... He had bitten straight through the inside of his lip and wasn't breathing at the minute. Lot's brow was pinched as he searched around. He had already removed and disarmed twelve mouse traps and two rodent cages. He frowned deeply. The woman had reeked of alcohol and that sterile drug scent. It was interesting what his house did to people. In all honesty, Lot was rather fond of that quality.

Easily cleaning and removing all mess, Victoria went to make something for Ilford to eat, as surprisingly the guests had eaten most of the food from last night, and then went in search of her master.

Lot was sitting on the toilet (with the lid down, not using). He was glaring at the stack of fifteen traps and five cages. This was ridiculous... At the moment he was trying to remember where he put his spare.

after a while, Victoria sighed and headed outside and easily scaled up the building to one of the balconies she'd never figured out how to get to from the inside, looking into the locked doors at some of the dust covered furniture inside, sighing and looking back up at the moon.

It didn't take him too long to find where he put it. Lot then exited the house as well, though for an entirely different reason. The man was changing the locks on the house. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted Elizabeth, but then his eyes drifted back to his work as he shouted up to her.

"Are you going to jump?" He didn't seem too concerned, though.

Lot didn't look up, still working on maneuvering his screwdriver.

"Good. I'm too busy to catch you right now." The thing clicked as he got it positioned correctly and began to tighten it more.

"How are you even up there? You are afraid of heights."

Lot was now to the point that he was testing the lock and oiling it, making sure that it worked properly.

"That's unfortunate, Kitty, seeing as - even if I did call the fire department - it would take them more than an hour to get here. That is, if they managed to find it at all."

Now victoria looked to the door behind her, recalling last time, she'd merely climbed up to her room's window.... however, it might not work like that tonight.....

"Don't let the dust bugs bite." He gave one last jiggle and click to the lock before stepping back to look at his finished handiwork.

Perhaps he really didn't care, perhaps he didn't think she'd pick the lock, however, she was soon picking the lock, then opening the door with a slow creek. coughing slightly at the dust stirred up, merely by opening the door, she looked about the room, happy to be currently satisfying her curiosity.

Lot closed the front door and locked it. Believe it or not, he wasn't putting it past her to pick the lock. She had done it with that first one. However... He quietly began to pace his way through the manor towards the room he suspected her to be encountering soon.
